641  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is better ICO, STO Or IEO ? on: September 02, 2019, 06:56:55 PM
IEoO most times gives investors the assurance that the coin will be listed on the exchange on which it is held. At least a contrat would have been signed to thta effect. Take for instance, if a project lunches its IEO on Binance, investors will create so much interest in it, because they know that it will be listed on it and there is every possibility for there to be an increase in price. We are already passed the time for ICO, so every project you see today will tell you tgat IEO will be held. STO is yet to be established and not so many people are creating interest in it because there is still as much risk attached to it like ICO. Until now, I still prefer IEO.
642  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunting is past it's glory days on: September 02, 2019, 06:49:45 PM
As a bounty hunter, I also switch to trading and investing. there are also jobs in my real world that are as a seller of wifi and also a chicken farmer.

Diversification is the secret and it will be wise for bounty hunters not to depend on cryptocurrency alone, let alone depend on just a minute aspect of it, which is bounty hunting. Well, some do that and they can still afford a three square meal. However, a time will come that they may not be able to get what they are getting now. Whih means that engaging in other forms of businesses which could be done outside the scope of cryptocurrency is necessary because you never tell what the direction of the market will be. Yes, cryptocurrency has a lot of prospects, but you cannot predict what is likely going to happen to bounty. Even at thta, diversificatiion is very important.
643  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How crypto exchanges secure our funds? on: September 02, 2019, 06:30:55 PM
If an exchange is so sure of protecting the identity of its users, that is, providing the utmost security, to confirm that, it should first be used for some users before that can be guaranteed. There are big exchanges that have existed for some years now and have been put to such test, yet some of them failed. Of that should happen, how then can I be sure of an exchange that is just coming in newly. What technology is it using to protect the identity and the fund of its users? If it is the same tech used by others, then I see no difference in it, except there is a novel security system that is put in place. If that is what Changelly has discovered, then it should be an achievement. A lot of exchanges today I am sure are working on their security system.
644  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Attitude that can shape the altcoin sector positively on: September 01, 2019, 11:49:46 PM
One of the problems we have with altcoins is that, most of their developers at too fund focused. Yes, we know that without money, the product might not be achievable, but aside that, some of these developers asks for exorbitant, which most times are not feasible and even if they are and such is achieved, they collect the funds and disappear into the thin air without doing any things or that they just fold their arms without showing any form of concern towards further development, because they have got what they wanted.
645  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Right or wrong path? on: September 01, 2019, 11:43:22 PM
Airdrop is a waste of time that is not even worth the time spent.
I was once among those who said that participating in airdrops is waste of time, but you know what, I was wrong. For those who have been patient enough with some of the airdrops they did, they were able to get something meaningful out of them,a thou, sometimes the chances might be very low and you just have to keep waiting unless that is a special intervention. One if the main issues I have with them is that, most of them are not long term, that us, they are usually pump and dump.
646  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We need regulation pretty bad on: August 28, 2019, 09:03:15 PM
There are lots of reasons why we nerd to intensify our research more on the team of crypto projects, even if regulations are not in place to do that for you. The onus is on us as investors, to check, research and be able to analyze critically well, if a project is good for investment, by virtue of its team.
A developer who does not know about cryptocurrency and yet lunching a crypto project, is like a auto mechanic, claiming that he can treat a patient, suffering from an ailment. You know what the outcome will be.
647  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My greatest crypto regret on: August 28, 2019, 08:56:40 PM
@OP, are you sure you truly had such opportunity. If that is true, then I do not think you can regain from such big loss and perhaps that friend of yours might have sold it or kept it somewhere till date.
Also, what baffles me is that, I do jot know what your friend might be thinking of, that now made him to feel like dashing out 6 btc to you.
Anyway, my greatest mistake, was selling my coins before the right time. The coins were so low in price at that time, but because if my lack of patience, I sold them too early.
648  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cheap Buy Orders on: August 28, 2019, 08:46:00 PM
If the buy order(s) is/are appearing visibly, particular the unexecuted orders, they can be trusted, except if the person(s) who placed the orders cancel them. The only orders I feel cannot be trusted are those that you see on executed orders, particularly trade history, but are not visible on the unexecuted orders. This is because some exchanges make use of trading bots. However, this cuts across almost all of them, with the exception of decentralized exchanges.
649  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: crypto and gold on: August 28, 2019, 08:18:14 PM
Although, investing in gold might very lucrative, but since I understand how cryptocurrency operates more, I prefer it over investing in gold. As a matter of fact, I do not know how investing in gold is done, although, it can be learnt, but as far as I am concerned, cryptocurrency is more profitable, but it involves more risks compared to investing in gold. With that, whatever form of investment has more risk factors, seem to always be more profitable. So I am not surprised at that.
650  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thanks so much for making me a multi-millionaire!!! I AM EVER-THANKFUL! on: August 28, 2019, 08:11:39 PM
The road between success and failure is very thin. Just a decision made within few seconds can change one's story for good. The guy was able to take a bold step and that today has been seen to be a good decision. For that reason, I say a big congratulations to him. Till now, there are lots of opportunities in the crypto space, but the problem is identifying them and making sure that a prompt decision is made in that regards. There are some coins we might see as being useless today, but tomorrow, they might become very useful.
651  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: IEOs is a game for top exchanges. on: August 28, 2019, 07:35:54 PM
If a big exchanging is conducting IEO for the first time, there is higher chance that it will succeed, because they will do everything possible: talk of marketing, provision of enough liquidity and any other means, for it to succeed. Also, their first successfully held IEO, will have impact on the next one, which is which other subsequent IEOs feel the impact and more investors will be attracted. There is therefore no doubt that, IEO is mainly for the big exchanges.
652  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: your patience is being tested on: August 27, 2019, 11:18:07 PM
To stay in the market today means to be a pasionated person and to believe into bright future of crypto industry, only strong mind will stay here for long time and will succeed.

Staying for a long time or term does not guarantee success, but making judicious use of the opportunity before you is more important.
Imagine seeing a good coin, with good potential and not investing in it, is like loosing a golden opportunity and telling yourself you are still waiting. So do not just stay, take action that is necessary, because that is what will guarantee your success.
653  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: waiting for altcoin season might take time on: August 27, 2019, 11:11:12 PM
New projects who now release new altcoins are on the increase, but little percentage of the are making progress, despite the current market condition. Therefore, if the bull rub is not yet set to come up, you can still get as much as x3, x5 increase when a coin is good and if it lunches on a good exchange.
654  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunting is past it's glory days on: August 27, 2019, 11:02:48 PM
The simply truth is that if you are/were depending on bounty for means of livelihood, you need to find an alternative, else you might blame yourself for such decision.
If you must depend on crypto, there are other means of earning other than bounty. Why not try them. Then gradually invest in offline businesses another source of income.
655  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Betting : A big problem to crypto? on: August 25, 2019, 09:18:08 PM
If one is to ever talk of one of the most interesting application of block chain, betting is part of it. So many of these platforms use block chain based tokens or coins for every activities on their platform. It is therefore a easy of bringing value and more adoption to cryptocurrency and block chain technology in general. However, you need to be conscious of which to partake it. Which means that, not all bring value to crypo, but at least larger percentage.
656  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum update on: August 25, 2019, 08:45:55 PM
There have been talks on the ethereum block chain upgrade for quite some time and I think it is particularly on the scalability, because that is the problem that has been confronting Ethereum network. So, another token will not be created, but that there will be an improvement in the network. If the issue of scalability can be solved, it will then be singlehandedly agreed that ethereum network is the vest, when it comes to smart contract.
657  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How does a perfect Bounty Campaign looks like? on: August 25, 2019, 08:31:43 PM
the most important thing to see the perfect bounty project, especially I will see the team that manages it is experienced and have positive beliefs active always giving information about their bounties, can only give what I think is important we learn before participating in a bounty the good one

If you will be going by the team of  the project before joining, it will be good you verify their identity vividly well, because there are some who use stolen identity of reputable personnel's in the crypto space and sometimes, they might use the identity of those who have nothing to do with crypto, but are influential and have succeeded in their fields of endeavour.
658  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What exchange is better than binance? on: August 24, 2019, 10:28:59 PM
binance is very good exchange but you can try houbi exchange.
Wasn't huobi faking volume along with other Chinese exchanges. They were all doing it since 2014.

There are no really good exchanges that are transparent, safe, and with high enough volume. Coinbase is good but they are selling you to agencies so I'm not really sure if they are better than binance.

Irrespective of what anyone will say or is saying, Binance is still the best, when it comes to trading.
The achievements that it has had so far, is enough to make it standout, even when it seems their are no other developmental processes or movements.
Coinbase is not that friendly, because it doesn't make it easy for every investor, to invest with ease.
I have used huobi and with my personal findings,  huobi is still crawling behind  Binance. So they are both not comparable in all wise.
659  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs 2019: A Year Of Success of Failure? on: August 24, 2019, 10:19:24 PM
In your opinion are there any ICOs in 2019 that have been notable successes?

In your opinion are there any ICOs in 2019 that have been notable failures?

In your opinion are there any ICOs in 2019 that have been notable scams?

How would you sum up ICOs in 2019 so far?

I will start from your last question, as far as 2019 is concern when it comes to ICO. there is no inkling of success at all. As a matter if fact, even the good ones among them are being affected.
If it were to be in the days of ICO boom, a project that has close to nothing to offer, will still be able to raise if not the whole hardcap, at least something close to it.
Therefore, rating the level of success of ICO in this 2019, I will give a score less than 30%, which is a failure.
The team that had it in the mind to conduct ICO, are now shifting over to IEO.
