Especially im currently not trusted enough person around to be trusted with anything upfront. That's why im dealing with escrow and escrow only. Well i'm talking about the "Marketplace (Altcoins) -> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=161.0If you go on this section in our forum, you will barely see any thread that should be there. 99,99% of the threads have nothing to do with the section purpose... Most of people do not sell/buy/exchange altcoins there, they just promote and spam off-topic things not based to altcoin marketing. I believe this section should be cleaned from all those threads which have nothing to do with it. This section should be used only as marketplace. For buying/selling and exchanging alt coins. Same as currency exchange section at bitcoin marketplace is used only for this. Please, if someone could bring that to Moderators eyes, or someone could help, it will be great to see another section cleaned from spam and used for his purpose. Seems you can't understand things well, buy/sell or exchange altcoins isn't must to do things on altcoin marketplace. Here is the bitcoin's general marketplace discussion: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=5.0 <-- it has sub categories because it's main here since website is for bitcoin. All those sub categories are united and given like all in one in altcoin's marketplace. You can offer your services, sell goods, announce a service or discuss about it here so don't worry, if you strongly believe there is spam thread, then just click on report to moderator and they'll take care of it asap. There is sections for discussion, for bounty and so. I understand that market place is market place. Where people trade/exchange stuff. That's why it is called marketplace. Obviously ann threads, bounty threads and discussion threads have their own sections and have no room in the market place section. |

It would be really hard to trust people these days so the worst case is that you will be tagged with red trust for this. If I were you, if you really own the bitcoin then get the help of the wallet.dat team to forcibly access the account. If this is not possible then it will take you some time to access or cracked the password. Well good luck on finding buyer for that 2 wallets.

For same reason your post is spam because you post cant be demanded to place on reputation section. It should be on meta section. If you believe any post is spam or something else; you can report to moderators sothat they can be aware and take action. Well, the reason i open this thread here is because most of us watch this section. I guess every single report of merit abuse and everything abusing the system should be in the "report a scammer" section also but yeah. I was just looking for some attention so i could help the community to clean this section full of spam. I should report every single thread on the market alt section to be moved from there... Edit: So far 45 threads reported.... only 400-500 threads left to be reported.. Will wait to see the result before spending my time on this. |

Yes I am a newbie here and I want to buy Bitcoins but Only have 2 options, either Paypal or Amazon gift cards. I see that Paypal is not easily accepted since it is reversible but Amazon gift cards are not.
Of course this should be done through an escrow.

Actually the amazon giftcards are reversible. Especially if you have receipt and the card itself, it will take you no longer than 15 mins contacting the livechat support and do their request providing valid proof of ownership. They will not only refund the amazon giftcards to new one and remove the balance from the one who activate it, but also will freeze his account. Also exchanging Amazon giftcards belongs to digital section -> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=93.0Also i don't think any escrow will agree dealing with digital goods, and even if he agree, its just like paypal... The escrow cannot protect you from chargeback... 99.99% digital good sales are high risk. And just friendly advice: If someone offer you more than 85% that's scam No one legit paying above that percent, even that's super high and you would be super lucky selling them at that rate. Most of people paying from 70 to 85% depends how fast they need it. If you are looking to sell at 1:1 rate, well say hello to all the scammers who going to contact you. |
