We have some news to share. We have been hard at work developing RAWG and are proud of it and our community.
But the news is that our presale raise of $5mln has been withdrawn due to circumstances. Following this matter and the current state of the market, we have decided to postpone our own crowdsale until the 1st of March 2019 since we don’t believe that it will be as successful as we originally planned. This change also signifies that our token system and token rewards will not go live this September.
However, these have no impact on our development plans of RAWG as a product or existing partnerships. We stay true to our vision and will be working the next 6 months to realize it. As always, we are open for any questions and feedback, just send us a letter to hello@rawg.io.

if RAWG is a platform library for games databases and combined with social experience, is there a possibility that RAWG will also provide game purchase features on the platform?
As of right now, we're providing links to the respective platforms and their stores on each and every game page on our site. As for selling right on RAWG we have considered possibility but not in the foreseeable future.

BOUNTY PROGRAM IS CLOSING After some discussion RAWG team has decided to start closing down the bounty campaigns starting from this week.
We believe that the target we’ve set up ourselves through bounty has been achieved. The whole team will now be dedicating all their effort into product development, token system, legal procedures. We want to fulfill all the roadmap goals by the intended time.
As for marketing RAWG will be working more closely with influencers on their own.
All allocated rewards will be distributed as promised, so don’t panic. KYC will still be needed and we’re planning to do it at the end of the crowdsale. Yes, we remember our promise to do it before the crowdsale but as in the nature of everchanging dynamics of blockchain, we’ve decided to postpone it until October.
Our crowdsale is still happening on 5th of September, no changes whatsoever here.
These campaigns are closed as of right now: 1) YouTube, Vimeo and Video Creation Campaign 2) Blog and Media Campaign 3) BitcoinTalk Signature and Avatar
If you have been working on something for these campaigns, send the sumbissions until Monday.
This week (28/07 - 03/08) will be the last for the following campaigns: 1) Translation and Moderation 2) Reddit 3) Telegram Ambassador 4) Advanced Media 5) Referral
So, bounty hunters for these campaigns, please submit your final reports by Friday 27th.
RAWG is not going anywhere, only the bounty campaigns, and we will be updating our community on everything that’s happening.

Forbes just shouted out RAWG in their article about the reasons blockchain and video gaming industry are bound together!
We agree ourselves wholeheartedly with the points raised. The market of gaming does seem oversaturated and requires from the gamer more and more resources to keep up to date with everything from games and developers to content providers of Steam, Twitch, etc.
Blockchain can solve not only the matter of combining it altogether into one package but bridging the gap between platforms and rewarding players for their time and skill. Which we here at RAWG is slowly but surely moving toward.

Since it's only pre-sale we've figured it was the appropriate amount, thus we set it at $5k. Our crowdsale opens on 5th of September with the minimum investment of $300 so you can buy tokens then. Low interest from users and advertisers can prove to be a challenging matter but we are prepared to face these problems by accommodating our own economics to attract audience, plus the initial reaction to the project has been very positive which makes us believe that we’re on a right track.

John Lee, Chairman of Asia, ESL (one of the largest eSports league in the world), is joining RAWG as an advisor. Who has been here from the beginning might remember him as the “more serious” person in the photo with our founder Gadji Makhtiev. In the gaming industry John Lee is a prominent figure, the ex-CSO of Zenimax Media Asia Pacific Ltd., the parent company of such big shots like Bethesda and idSoftware. John founded kek eSports (which basically translates to lol eSports), one of the most popular apps to watch live-streams and gaming replays.
As Chairman of Asia, ESL, he advises and evaluates the Asian market and with the rise of blockchain John is on the lookout for prominent ventures.
We hope that RAWG might be one of them and that our cooperation with John Lee will elevate our project even further.
