as fo the power part get a good ups or 2 that should help, as for the moisture part it shouldt hurt unless its raining inside your house, as for the flooding idk raise them off the floor a few ft? and if water gets in your house go kill the main beaker to the house and tun off the ups?

6  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Best Battery Backup for Your Rigs? on: July 26, 2011, 02:00:42 PM
it depends on if you have 14 or 12 awg wire if its 12 just puling in  a 20 amp will fix it, it could be a bad beaker to as a beaker gets old it starts tripping at a lower amp draw, when hes going to do when he comes out is put an amp probe in your panel and see how amps your pulling on that circuit. as for all the hatting on aluminum wire its fine it wont start a fire any more then  cooper if its in good shape, the only thing that it does is you have to ues a larger gauge then you would whit copper to get the same amps

10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: 6 GPUs 5850 on one mainboard on: July 20, 2011, 10:53:41 PM
You could be pulling to much wats though the pcie slots could be the board just doesn't like them.  Do this put all cards in the system and see if it boots then try mining just on the 1 card that doesn't want to works and see what hapnes.  If it works you pulling to mich power though the mb
11  Economy / Services / Re: 1 Gh/s mining contracts on: July 04, 2011, 05:18:47 PM

12  Economy / Services / 1 Gh/s mining contracts on: July 04, 2011, 02:49:41 AM
renting out 1Gh/s blocks for $300 per month for first month  $275  if you buy 2  $250 for 3 and $225 for longer then 4. i think the prices are fair to me the seller and you the buyer as you can make some money and i can pay for my power + make a few$ up  fount.  is their any interests to in this?

...show me a 6970 pulling 445MH/s at 1ghz core like the 5870 does.
Here:

I have it at only 950core/1375Memory doing an average of 460+MH/s (values fluctuate between 457.8, 460.5, 468.7). Still, a 5870 is far more efficient at mining since the GPU is smaller by half a billion transistors, it has half the ram clocked at a lower speed and at lower voltage plus the PCB is less complex (less layers).

how you geting that many Mh/s out your card? my unlocked 6950 at 975 core only get 430ish
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Help on configuring ATI video card? on: July 03, 2011, 06:41:14 AM
Google msi afterburner (its a very good gpu oc tool) you can change you cards fan speeds vcore clock speeds all that good stuff. that said if you new to overclocking gpu i woudl just stick to the CCC the drivers have a built in control panel that you canchnage fan speed and oc you cards but cant change the vcore, its under  performance - graphics  overdrive and you have to click a bxs that says enable overdrive on that page to unlock the overclocking and fan speed. and there you go whit a 6970 whit out messing whit teh vcore of teh card and if you temps stay below 75C you shold hit 920mhz+ on teh core if you raise teh v you can hit 950+ at about 1.2v if you dont want to risk your card i wouldn't go over 1.25
15  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: AMD Catalyst 11.7 Preview + OpenCL 2.5.684.211 on: July 03, 2011, 05:59:59 AM
Does 11.7 preview still hangs up on a 6950 if you launch a video while mining?

yes and no  i forgot to turn off my miner the other day and went to watch a movie and my pc dint lock up then i tried it 5 more times and it locked up every time so mabay we are moving in the right direction or it was just a fluke idk. but in the mean time turn of gpu gpu acceleration it fixes it

that just looks like pieces of wire to me? edit just looked at it again is that done in paint over a pic? can you take a pic of the one you made? did you use the right resistors?
can you see the cards under device manager?
20  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Multiple PSUs, had 1 burn out on: June 19, 2011, 12:34:29 AM
the card will pull up to 75w out of the pcie slot, as for using a 2end psu to power the other gpu that's ok its not going cause the other psu to blow up what it soudns like to me is your uesign cheep psus go get a good 600W psu or a cheep 750w and you should be fine
