21  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: No mining with two cards (x1 and x16) on: June 16, 2011, 06:27:40 PM
could be the cards pulling to much power though the 1x slot a shity psu or something overheating, have you tried taking out 1 card and running each in the 16x slot to see if ti works?
22  Bitcoin / Mining / selling hashing power on: June 16, 2011, 04:26:44 PM
Would any one want to buy some Mh/s?

i could sell 500 Mh/s for $250 a month or 1Gh/s for  $550 a month. buy 2 months and il give you a 20% discount 3  months 25% discount

you would pick a pool and i would point the miners to that pool and  keep them mining every day and if there is every i problem il switch over to a back up rig so you dont lose and Mh/s

Would there be any interest in something like this? is so pm and we could work out the details.

bump prices lowered also pm me if you what to make your own combo

what pool are you mining in? have you tried changing just to see? if its not the gpus or the drivers or your miner its ether the psu might be drooping you 12v rail down casuign it to fail you mb just not liking the 2 cards have you tried installing just the drivers and leaving ccc no installed? have you tried the newest chip set drivers for your mb? what psu and what mb do you have?
29  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Max # of GPUs on one motherboard (Linux)? on: June 16, 2011, 03:16:45 AM
you can only crossfire or sli up to 4 cards but you can run as many cards as you want whit out sli/crossfire(some mb dotn like a lot of cards though) and some boards shut off pcie lanes if you use other slots like lga 1155 does this unless they have the nf200 chip in them to multiplex pcie lanes

as for getting them all to work under Linux idk but on windows you just hook up dummy plugs to them and then start them up
30  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: I tip for help! on: June 16, 2011, 03:11:37 AM
as the other guy said its called power tune go to you CCC go to performance and then overdrive and set powertune to +20. also  when ever you try to oc using some thing like AB some time it resets it self to 0

as for the no boot whit 2nd card in have you tried putting that card in the other slot and see if it boots? also see if you can configure your pice lanes form 16x 0 to 8x8x and btw how much ram do you have installed? try disabling every thing on your mb you dont need and pull all but 1 stick of ram out and try resting you coms by pulling your com bartty for about 1 mim whit the psu unplugged

33  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Take plastic cover off fan/heatsink? on: June 16, 2011, 02:42:41 AM
it would hurt you temps the way the fan is it forces all the air over the heat sink if you take it off even if you put more fans under it you not going to be moving the same amount of air over the fins
34  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: 6950 + system hanging on: June 16, 2011, 02:38:35 AM
i have 3 6950s unlokced and i run them at 1.2v and i can get to 930 core and if i go to 1.25 i can get to 960 to pull about 410mhs per card. and 900 is still a lot for stock vcore the 6970 runs at 880 stock core at 1.17v so up you v to at least 1.175- 1.2 range (if you temps are lower then 80c) and then try for 900
35  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: can a guru please look over my planned 3x 5770 setup please? on: June 16, 2011, 02:14:41 AM
yea what i meant to say eiler is you cant not can put ddr2 in and am3 board.

yes you can get 3 cards to work on that mob but i think you would be beater off just getting 2 higher up cards  as a 5770 gets about 200mhs whit a med Oc and 220 whit a high oc, where if you could find cheep 58xx cards you could get 350-420 per card or get 6950s that will do 350 oc and not unlocked(you can get the 1gb ones for sub 200 after mir) to 400+ oc and unlocked
36  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: can a guru please look over my planned 3x 5770 setup please? on: June 15, 2011, 10:39:07 PM
i would get a full sized Mb as that thing going be crammed as hell and a bigger psu as once you oc those cards there going be pulling 100w+ each i woudl go whit a least a 500w

just saw you buying ddr2 ram you can put ddr2 ram in a am3 board get some ddr3 ram
37  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Mining as a race on: June 15, 2011, 10:35:52 PM
Meh, I'm not a racist. I just mine as long as the cost outweighs electricity expenses.

If it ever goes below that point, difficulty will adjust downwards most likely.

I'm with you, I just purchased a new computer at the beginning of the month and really the only thing I hope to accomplish with Bitcoins is to pay for the computer plus earn the interest the money would have made sitting in the bank account.

Really this was an excuse to convince my wife to let me build a new computer.

this is my plan to mine coins and hope it pays for a new rig i already had had 2 6950 unlocked so i bought 1 more and hopefully by the end of the month i can upgrade my PII 955be system to a nice SB
38  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: If mining becomes inprofitable in the next few days, I can always count on... on: June 15, 2011, 09:24:03 PM
if you run teh new v7 whit teh adv flags you get about 8-9kppd form a 5870 little lees for a 6970 vs a 580gtx gets about 20k ppd
39  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Temperature problem on: June 15, 2011, 08:41:03 PM
i woudl think ab is right as 77c sounds about right for a 5770 whit the fan on 50%
40  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Verification Fail, Check Hardward. Need Help!! Ill Tip for solution. on: June 15, 2011, 08:05:52 PM
also try swoping cards around like put card 1 in slot 2 and card 2 in slot 1 and see if the same card craps out you could have a bad pcie slot
