241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cannot find Doge on Cryptsy on: March 12, 2014, 07:48:13 PM
I don't know why some people panic. Cryptsy works great for me, withdrawals, deposits all is ok.

It works until it doesn't, I had the same opinion prior to having issues myself.
242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SMOS linux 1.3 - Scrypt Mining Operating System (24.1.2014. updated) on: March 12, 2014, 04:11:55 PM
Can anyone tell me how I can monitor my rigs to auto reboot if a GPU hangs? I see the option in the bamt.config file but next to it it says (phoenix only) wtf is phoenix???

I use this script https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=490840.0 and it actually works pretty well.
243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: *WARNING* Worldcoin Foundation selling WDC at 35% discount?! on: March 11, 2014, 11:59:41 PM
This is either someone being spitefull or someone wanting to create some market chop to trade off of.

I think it's obvious it's someone scamming to get some free BTC and USD.

The facebook page has been hacked, yet again an insecure social network site !!

Allowing idiots to post whatever they want on a page that they should not have access to.

Not for one second do I think that after all of the work that the Worldcoin alliance and the community has been doing over the last few months would be thrown away by any of them.

They do not need to raise funds because ALL of the work done is done by the community for free and the mention of trying to raise funds is simply not true and I would suggest that as many people as possible report the page as soon as possible

Most of the time it's idiot users and insecure password. Where do you get the idea it's Facebook being insecure?

245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: I made an auto-coldrebooter script for BAMT/SMOS on: March 06, 2014, 09:42:56 PM
This script has saved me a couple trips home from the office to check on my rig.

Now to figure out why it's crapping out after smooth sailing for weeks.

Gigabyte 270 ( Non-x) 490Kh under Windows 8 with Sgminer 4.0.0

-w 256 -I 19 -g 1 --thread-concurrency 21568 --gpu-fan 80 --gpu-engine 1150 --gpu-memclock 1500 --lookup-gap 2

Thanks, I am also at 490 now using those intensity and gpu values, will run for a while and see if it's stable and what the temps are but you might have a winner there.

I found this to be unstable, reverted back to OP settings.
249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Merge Mining Scrypt Coins - Get 4 times your hash power! DOGE/LTC/DGC/CAT/42 on: March 04, 2014, 06:39:22 PM
I did 1.4 mh/s for 16 hours so far and have this

Currency   Balance
42   0.00000297
DOGE   919.9153608
CAT   0
LTC   0.0061456
DGC   1.12782264
HUC   0
PTC   15.16324673
ORG   3291
USC   2.68625245

I'm not sure how much time it was on my backup pools but they show activity so I must have had trouble connecting to manicminer at some point.
250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: how can i know if my gpus throttles down? on: March 04, 2014, 03:16:59 AM
I like how 2 people responded, ignoring your actual question.

You'll need to write a script to notify you or log the throttling.

How do you set it to mine just one coin, and then the others by default?

You don't, they have a set distribution according to their site.

I'm trying it out but seeing 70% rejects....I average <1% on wafflepool.

The rejected rate and accepted is totally false. I have read somewhere else which I will find for you but because of the way it works by checking muliple blockchains those numbers are not right.

How do you set it to mine just one coin, and then the others by default?

To mine a coin you must first add your address so it knows where to pay. To not mine a coin simply do not add that address.

So if you would like to mine only doge and then the 4 secondary coins, then only add those wallet address.

Hope this helps Smiley

That's not true, you just don't get those coins. There is no choosing coins.

253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Coinye [KOI/COYE] The Calm Before the Gayfish Storm on: March 04, 2014, 12:26:33 AM
Anyone on here speak fluent chinese/english and fancy helping me out for a bounty please contact me
please contact me 591699715@qq.com

Guys.  I totally get the gay fish reference, and making fun mr. west go's right along with what South Park did, but I'm starting to see a trend to use the gayfish/coinye logo to bash "being gay" or "being homo-sexual" in general and I don't think that is something we want associated with the coin.

That starts to look more like "hate" and less like "parody."

As a 2 plus million holder of this coin, I would rather have it just die than see it be associated with hate speech, or hate groups such as those that target gay and lesbian people.

Just wanted to point this out before it goes to far in that direction.

Watching a little too much 5 o'clock TV? They slam our brains with gay-ness 24/7 in what seems to be a full scale effort to create a mainstream full scale gay-genocide. Let us have our gay fish.

+1 The globalists want everyone to be gay to control population... the media want everyone to be gay to vote for the left... corporations wants everyone to be gay so 1.) men will have low T and buy their viagra 2.) men will no longer know how to be men and will be easily manipulated and feminized to go along with whatever big government wants 3.) the family will continue to dissolve in this country...

The real "hate" is against anyone heterosexual, any man that is masculine, any true father, any upright man, any type of morality, any type of liberty, any type of freedom...

/end rant Smiley

I always love the majority claiming to be oppressed, it makes me chuckle.

257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Why one of my R9 270 is hotter than others? on: March 02, 2014, 03:46:31 PM
I have the same cards and the cgminer temp cutoff does not work, at least in linux.

You need risers for the cards, with 3 on one mb and no risers 85 is somewhat normal.
258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: I made an auto-coldrebooter script for BAMT/SMOS on: March 01, 2014, 07:48:02 PM
I had my GPUs stop spinning last night and the rig halted, it didn't reboot though and I'm running the script.

Here is what I see when manually running it, I'm using SMOS 1.3

/root/autoRebooter.sh: line 11: kill: (10583) - No such process

Hmmm, that line means that the viewgpu process likely completed just fine. Next time that happens, can you run viewgpu and paste me the output? It's possible that there is some failure output that the script doesn't check for yet.

Some people have mentioned that coldreboot fails sometimes, perhaps I should just remove the /sbin/coldreboot and always just use Linux magic keys (echo s, echo b, etc).

I see the same message whenever I run it manually. When the rig went down, I wasn't able to SSH into it so couldn't tell the status.
