I am one of the least tech-savvy people that I know. I think there's just some chemical imbalance in my brain, because I literally cannot understand what the hell people are talking about when it comes to computers. BUT! I really, really genuinely want to build my first computer next year and I really want to get into building my own miners as soon as possible. Can anyone explain mining, building a rig and joining a pool to me like I'm a total moron?

If you're digging through my posts looking to discredit me, however, why don't you start with my posts from this LEAF thread instead of cherry picking the very first post I ever posted which is more than a month old? I could, however, start digging through your posts from this thread alone and probably find quite a bit of nice little bits. I had no intention of discrediting you, I actually wanted to see that you are a credible poster by looking at what else you speculated regarding other alts. But it looks like nearly all your posts are in this thread regarding Leaf so I don't know what to think. As for my history, go ahead.. there is a bunch of shit you can dig up on me, but I'm not giving people financial advice Haha, you posted my very first post which was a question about mining, and you posted underneath of it "Made credibility." You blatantly are trying to question my credibility! Which is fine, I mean I'm just some stranger on the internet, so if you're not questioning me even just a little, you're doing it wrong. But yes, I am giving people financial advice and if you look back at my posts and match them up with the fluctuations and price, you'll see that it's quite good advice. But yeah, I'm not going to dig through your posts. |

TheTelephoneYou found a good way to manipualte market. Probably you want people to believe you and then people will do what you say --->  ----> Profit. Maybe you have some millions of Leafs or BTC that you want to x2-x5 in several days. Nevertheless, people are curious and I am too. So will appreciate any log of seminar (maybe posted not here but in PM or zip on any fileserver). Everybody has motives to do smth and you, of course, have them too - money making, I think. MAYBE I AM A GIANT LEAFDid you PM me? My inbox is a little full at the moment, and I dread digging through. |

in my opinion experts shut up, work and earn lots of money. the guys talking like a broken machine are just manipulators. why would you ask people to pay you for seminars when if you were so good you would earn those cash by a few smart transactions?  Oh don't you worry, I'll be making plenty off LEAF once it hits rock bottom. I've just been getting a lot of feedback from this thread, a lot of people asking for advice (a lot of people NOT asking for advice) and I thought maybe it'd be a decent way to inform people and earn BTC at the same time (note I said 'earn,' not take or make or steal). Haha, I'm not the one manipulating. If I were, I'd be on the selling end and dumping through all these buy walls, and THEN I'd buy in at the bottom. Instead, I sit and wait. And after you buy, you will be talking about strong buy walls and other bullshits. I know it very well from the real stock exchange and stock forums. After I buy, I'll be telling people to sell off their hauls in increments from 20 and upward. Also, how would one bullshit about strong buy walls in the first place? Either they're there, or they're not. It's very hard to convince people of things that don't exist. If I start talking about buy support or sell pressure, you can just go check the books. I'll predict the future:
A bunch of people are going to pay around $80 to be told a tenth of the information and basic actions that they could learn about if they spent 10 minutes on Google, never mind actual trading forums.
They say there is one born every minute though.
Trading forums are about 60% bullshit. Also, I've decided that I'll be doing the first seminar for 100% free for anyone interested, that way no one can call FOUL. If you're interested, PM me or tweet me @theAncient0ne, and I'll send IRC links to anyone that gets ahold of me. First seminar will be based around LEAF, what happened with LEAF, how LEAF was manipulated and where it's going to end up. Set the wall 20BTC now 20 santo, if you moved a rate of 15-18 Not sure if you're speaking to me or some other nameless person out there, but I don't set fake walls, as it's too risky. I did, however, buy at 15 and sell at 17 for a nice little gain. I personally hope those walls come back. It's so much easier to speculate on a coin when there's so much price manipulation. |

I bought LEAF at 23..... should I just cut my losses, sell at 16 and invest in something else?? Pls respond
hold and you will be happy later that you didn't sell :^) Tasorrog is right. At this point, you may as well wait it out unless it gets back up into the 20s. |

By out in the open I meant mined, out from the total production well, ready to be traded at a moments notice. Selling at anything above 3 satoshi would represent a profit against electricity costs to mine it, and as you say billions are out there. Trying to call that market is like pi$$ing in the wind.

Also, sell pressure is building and buy orders are stagnant. Looks like this bump is about over, unless the fake buy walls come back.
Set phasers between 10 - 12 if you're buying back in, but be prepared to sell between 15 - 19 afterward (20, if those fake buy walls show up again). Will give more detailed updates to those who PM me.
Didn't you say that a couple of hours ago, then a little later said buy pressure was building as it was getting support from traders, and now its sell pressure again. Yet the price has remained fairly stagnant at 16-17 the whole time.
Its pretty easy to call a market 5 minutes after it happened. Yet trying to call a market where the entire buy book consists of about 400m coins when there are people out there mining 10% of that a day, and previously 50% of that a day is practically impossible.
Trading, reading the candles and interpreting the order books is pretty simple. Manipulating the price of these size order books too if you have the btc to do it, but the one factor these markets have which throws a big spanner into the works, is the mining. The creation of "free" stock, that's a massive unknown quantity, and on a coin that's got so much of its production out in the open within a couple of weeks and has rapid block halving its an even greater unknown element.
Also, if you're referring to LEAF when you say "a coin that's got so much of its production out in the open within a couple of weeks" then you're very, very wrong. Billions in LEAF is STILL being held off the market, which is why traders aren't interested. Why buy in at 15 or even 10 when miners are just going to dump their load all around you?@theAncient0neEDITED for formatting. |

First free lesson for anyone wanting to take part:
LEAF is gaining buy support from the trading community. Everyone cancel sell orders between 15 and 20, let buy support build up thick through those numbers, then in about 3 - 4 hours, dump through all of them. This'll be everyone's last chance until it hits rock bottom.

is bottom 14 sat? Bottom is the bottom, really. Not sure why people are dumping on these small orders, though, right after the bump. I guess the panic really is setting in. bottom is the bottom - nothing about nothing Honestly, anyone that is trying to say for sure that LEAF will hit X and Y hour, minute, seconds, etc. if full of shit. I could tell you that I think it'll dip to 12, and natural buy support would build from there, which I think is one possibility, but a whale could come in any moment and float it at 15 and my prediction would be entirely discredited. Big movements are easy to see, but the little stuff gets mixed up in a quagmire of human factors. @theAncient0ne You are already discredited man... Go give your advice somewhere else... Haha, please tell me how predicting almost exactly what has been happening to LEAF in the last 4 days has discredited me. Please tell me. Is there something I'm missing? |
