Hey people,

Does anyone else have this on the right side of their ravencoin wallet, 3.3.1?

"Warning: unknown new rules activated (versionbit 25)"

Anyone mining on POOLIN and have any info about fees and how the payouts system works. I see no info about block being mined or anything on their website.

Bye bye x16rv2:
Quote
Not Long after the fork of Ravencoin on October 1st, 2019, Altered Silicon has released a public bitstream for X16Rv2. This bitstream works for BCU1525 and can be accessed 👉here. It needs 2 BCU1525 at minimum to run. Hence you will need QSFP cables to connect them.

So we can assume that Ravencoin fork was a big fail ...

Additionaly the original chain of Ravencoin is still alive and mined.

There is even a pool for mining it (icemining) and its called now Ravencoin Classic.

Im stick with the old chain.

of course you can stick with the old chain. especially if you already bought the ASICS. Ravencoin Classic is just another spinoff coin just like pigeon was. That also died quite quickly. Dunno what is the plan with Ravencoin Classic other than keep the asics useful. Didn't see one post about it.

also, just googled Ravencoin classic, found this https://www.coinness.com/news/412858 dunno the truth, dunno any exchanges for it or anything. Any whitepaper for Ravencoin classic?

SPREAD THE HASHRATE. GETTING EVER CLOSER TO 51% ON F2POOL. LET'S NOT DESTROY A VERY GOOD PROJECT!!!

It is so hard to mine raven now ... i bet there are TONs of ASICs mining x16rv2 ... The algo change was pointless ... or that was the plan.

Did you see the evolution of difficulty and hasrate? Where are all those asics that are still on the network when hashrate went from 30TH to 8TH?
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ravencoin [RVN] PoW GPU Mining | Asset Transfer Blockchain (Updated ANN) on: October 05, 2019, 01:59:55 PM
Lol... difficulty is not the same, 100k vs 300 k. Hashrate is about 8-9 TH vs 24. FPGAs were not the target, more the asics were and you can clearly see the difference.

Difference in payout from mining is huge for a gpu rig now vs before.

Only issue i see is that people went with their hash on f2pool for the most of it 30-40% almost and that could raise some risks if it goes over 50.

COMPARING EARNINGS IN JUNE ITS ABOUT 60% NOW. WAS EXPECTING MUCH BETTER RESULT AS DIFFICULTY IS LESS.. HOW DO YOU SEE IT NOW MR. AISMEN?

Don't understand the shouting (CAPS) but ok.

If you could look at the hashrate spread in June vs now, you would see that no pool had 30-40% of hashrate. Probably payout will be better on f2pool but i do not want to move to that pool since it has most of the hasrate. Yes payout is now lower for me since i'm still on suprnova and i guess alot of the people are going to f2pool, creating a centralized situation with high risk of attack.

Try to understand mining a bit better and how it works and you will see why you are not getting a low payout if you're not on f2pool (and i'd suggest not to move there).

For all miners mining on f2pool. Keep in mind that that pool is already at 35% hashrate so getting close to 51%, also getting close to a 51% attack risk.

Try spreading your hash if you really want a good project

You mind posting a link, I can only find cuda.

It's a fake thread and a fake coin. There is no Tron Vision other than the original Ravencoin. Don't get lost with this scam.

so asked for a view from Tron on Twitter about this link: "https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5180730.0"

Is this a real deal? I also got this message on the Discord, are we going to see another project based on a fork of Ravencoin?
why nobody is talking about this here, I am confused. It is a change of mining algo or also the project name?

Nice photoshop job. The choice is clear. Join the corporate backed RavencoinTV, and stay true to Ravencoins corporate vision or stay with the ASIC secured network. I personally have always felt more comfortable knowing Medici Ventures is in the shadows. All the decisions at the company office, that's why the real Raven community chooses Ravencoin Trons Vision!

Once again: This ANN will be moving over here and closed October 1st-> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5180730.0

Who are you? ...

The team has had some shakeups since the departing of our dear Patrick Byrne. Medici Ventures has decided to go full force, with full control. That means a bigger budget and bigger team! No more need for community anything, we?ve got you covered!

There is no proof that Patrick Byrne is alive. Is this post to walk people into misleading? I am already informed that shakeups which u just briefly mentioned is due to shift in price levels. Dumps caused the creature named patrick byrne to part with his mind since, as u know, its always hard to abide the pain and bear the consequences of market crash. patrick has my support, even though he is dead.

Can't argue with that!

Check out this joke posted by the company twitter account: https://twitter.com/Ravencoin/status/1173735008906948609 The Twitter is run by Sally, an alias for one of our board members. Kaw!

Everyone knows the new fork is [named] Trons Vision!!

Still trying to spread your poison ha? Why is there nothing said about Tronsvision in the meetup from Asia?

Raven - the centralized government controlled upgrade of Bitcoin?  Why would an investment firm name themselves after a medieval quasi-Catholic banking cartel?

New account for FUD Smiley)) nice, 5 posts until now Smiley

Yes yes, photoshop Smiley)) Ravencoin is not changing. The ones that believe your B.S. are the ones that will be loosing but it's their choice. You can choose to believe or not that chat exists, it's your own choice in the end, this is crypto.

So there are 2 actions. 1 is the changing of the algo to kick asics out of the network. This will be done on the 1st of October. The other prank, the one i asked tron about is somewhat of a scam, someone wanting to go ahead with the same algo and faking a new ravencoin. Since then the spam about this pseudo-project stopped so ravencoin will still be ravencoin.

No, this is contrary to all that Ravencoin stood for until now. This will make it be a centralized process with a central team calling the shots and all. Nowhere is it mentioned that this fork will be with a new name and the only message talking about this RavencoinTV is this one so that sound really scam-ish now.

WTF is with this crap? There is no such thing as oficial Medici blablabla in Ravencoin.

What is the reason for such an increase in difficulty? ASIC?

The upcoming RavencoinTV (Tron's Vision) fork. This ANN will be moving over here-> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5180730.0

Of course there is, you must not be educated on how the new fork came about. Medici Ventures (subsidiary of Overstock.com) is the biggest corporate sponsor of RavencoinTV, the new Ravencoin fork lead by Tron Black. We weren't going to tell everyone until they had already wasted their hash, but we're planning on tokenizing some OSTK debt for resell as well, so you can get in on the ground floor there!

I'm a little worried about where my RVN has gone.

I sent some to binance from my wallet last night and they're neither in my wallet or binance, when I search my binance receiving address on block explorer nothing shows up, same for the transaction ID, it doesn't recognise it.

Any ideas?

What does the sent transaction look like?

as long as FPGA boards can mine it, - I'm OUT~!

Me too,..

Aismen.. haha we're normal..if someone is borring..lets guesss ,You! ..that paronic trust in coin..for example RVN is a diagnose. You should cure yorself.

The BTC is down long time.. RVN to BTC is pure sh***t, and yes ,we pay electricity.Weell if you pay mine ,I  thnik to swith on my miners.

You should realise that nobody from RVN team cares for me,nor you. They 're ok when they have miners, doesent matter what type, GPU, CPU or FPGA. Did you understand that ? If there is no plus from mining that's sh**t. Yf you're lucky to mine on zero, ok..but thats not make us borring etc.

 Cool

You're boring because while just a few boots keep going with "when moon", you just keep calling it a shitcoin although this is never a discussion. Ok maybe FPGA are on this coin...don't care. Have another coin which is profitable now for mining? Have one that is more profitable than ravencoin? enlighten us. All coins have FPGAs and ASICs.

If you don't really have an answer to the better/more profitable coins than yes you are just boring, saying this coin and that coin are shitcoins while never saying which one in your opinion is that gem Wink

We're choosing to trust this coin as people did when bitcoin, ethereum, zcoin, zcash, monero and all others came online.

So let's talk mining for a bit.

Most of hashpower comes from FPGA cards, so you can try them.  Cheesy

You're just as boring as Subsonic.

In the meanwhile...
