on my system of 6x1070s it only detects 5 gpus?

6x1060s work fine
edit: a restart with windows updates fixed the issue, though i dont know why

2x Inno3D GeForce GTX 1070 Twin X2
Zustand der Karten ist TOP, keinerlei Problem mit Ihnen gehabt.
Preislich schweben mir 350€ vor, jeweils pro Karte.
Digitale Rechnung (Mail/pdf) ist jeweils vorhanden
Bezahlung in € oder BTC.
OVP nicht mehr vorhanden, falls das relevant ist.

Atm I'm doing 150-160H/s with just 2 RX480ß whereas my one rig with 5GTX1070 and 5 GTX1080 just doing 160-200h/s in total..its a shame for nvidia and the nvidia mining community..
giving away the crown and the hashpower for nothing :-(
80 h/s for 1 amd 480 ? I have 1 amd 480 nitro+ 4gb on windows x64 and with claymore 2.1 i have 45 h/s max @ default . there is 3.0 actually |

Compare it to claymores the 280x use 250.watt and.produce 45 sol.
I do 133 sol with the same watt.
sp_ is just spamming his own thread haha! pallas, where is that break even point wattage/ buying costs? Depends on too many factors. You must find out yourself, and continually adapt to the conditions. Btw I don't think Claymore does 250W on the 280x. I think much less. a system with a 290x and a 280x draws 402 W from the wall (celeron cpu, 50% load), so it should be around 150-175 for the 280x |

I'm getting about 50h/s using a r9 280 with 1100 GPU clock and 1500 mem clock on the -i 2 setting
which cpu are you using and whats the cpu usage? |

What about performance ? with eXtremal's SA version on nvidia i got 30 s/s on one card, and 22 per card on 6-gpu rig. The bottleneck was high cpu usage.
I don't know we will have to see. OpenCL code has a tendency to need to be tweaked to run well on a device. Current silentarmy runs really well on AMD, but it may not be as efficient on Nvidia. So I will have work on optimizing for Nvidia and this is going to be incremental improvements released over time. It is wrong way from the start. You'll never achieve CUDA speeds with OpenCL on nVidia. i suppose we will need someone else to port it to cuda, has anyone yet offered help? |

1) reconnects @ nicehash when "method:reconnect" (or something similar) is issued, where other miners dont reconnect, is this due to the missing extranonce when switching job orders?
2) after DevFee mining ends all shares are getting rejected till a new job starts from nicehash
will edit screens here once it happens again
YEAH I got the exact same problem!!!!!!!! Might be the AMD drivers like someone mentioned before, newer drivers don't have this issue. im using latest from amd website |

why everyone uses outdated Ubuntu stuff..this is very annoying ..
Its like using and pretent to use windows 3.11 novadays over Windows 7 or 10.
Thats the reason those linux miners are always puzzle to get them work properly..on windows its not such issue.
actually its more like windows 8 to windows 10 ubuntu 7 would be like 3.11 |
