Well this is strange. I started the v7 Qora today to see what's going on and found wallet ain't syncing and that you have to get the new v8.
Alright, I downloaded v8 and synced - but the new wallet doesn't show all the balances I had in v7. Yes I used the correct seed and the correct password to retrieve it, but now in v8 I can only see the balance in one of the addresses (instead of one more that I had in v7 - the one I used to whitdraw funds from Sharexcoin too). And - I just checked Block Explorer - this address isn't even found But in v7 this address is showing the proper amount from the Sharexcoin whitdraw. It shows Balance and Confirmed Balance. But not found on Block Explorer. Huh, what now?
v7 - 2 addresses with x coins, one from Sharexcoin and one from the giveaway both show the correct amount
v8 - only 1 address with an amount (the giveaway address)
Make sure you start the wallet fresh, without data and wallet folders(but backup them) and then recover from the seed. I used a completely new folder for the v8. But isn't it strange that one address isn't even shown on the block explorer? It should be and I believe it was the last time I checked. If the debug window shows block ~4959 and you are on the right chain then these transactions probably are gone forever. What sucks the most is that Sharexcoin may be gone  |

Qora is broken and unusable but here you are still.  lol, i'm not gonna sell my Qora just because there is a temporary bug  No but you are gonna drag this thread down with your little deposit problems on an exchange, and you say I'm selfish. lol, i hope not |

Yes, i'm still waiting for the client to recover itself, but it fails to do so. The only way to get on the right chain is to recover from the seed.
OK... make sure to send qora the corrupted data folder. Apparently it is enough to just delete the data folder and let the client to re-download it. No need to recover from the seed. |

So i think we have a proof that Qora cannot recover itself from fork even from local network.  Wait a sec... do you mean you also tried just to restart the first client and it didn't work? I only asked you to recover from seed for the purposes of this experiment. In the future just Quit and restart the client without recovering from seed. If you keep ending up with a corrupted database... qora has asked that we send him our data folders. Yes, i'm still waiting for the client to recover itself, but it fails to do so. The only way to get on the right chain is to recover from the seed. |

According to the generated blocks in the Debug window the last generated block is 4503 and the last block generated in block explorer is 4554. The 4503 block at the explorer and 4503 block in my wallet were generated by a different address. My wallet is on another chain, what should i do?

It's become hilarious. All these country coins just flood the CoinMarketCap with low to no-value.
IMO, it's better to sort the coins based on 24h volume by default instead of market capitalisation.
Or even better don't add coins with more than X premine(1-2%).
Yea, it is not premine itself, but those scam country coins that is the problem. It's terrible |

Recent additions of heavily premined coins is too much.  It's getting ridiculous. There should be a filter not only for "Filter Non-Mineable" but also for "Filter Significantly Premined". |

Why only 16 characters for the password, and why it says invalid password when i try to create account??? Do you not support special characters?? Personally i despise any service that places restrictions to my passwords. I hope you do not ask to reset it once a month Reset no, 2FA optional, secure password yes! Sorry security for all users whether they like it or not since it helps protect everyone. i guess he was griping about the 16 charachter limit on passwords. probably enough entropy though if you're using bcrypt and strong salts. i tend to agree that 16 charachters is a rather sheisty limit. my cryptsy password and email passwords both exceed the limit. not an insult, your exchange is pretty decent(you claim its the most secure). don't ignore the users though. increase that weak password limit. Everyone should be using 2FA. Given that. It's a waste of time using over a 16 character password. No one in the real world bothers with that crap. All it does is force regular people to write passwords down or store it in a file on their computer. Just let me enter my long sentence password please  |
