Greetings Chili lovers.
We have taken on-board the community feedback in regards of the coin swap from v1 to v2 and re-evaluated the plans set-forth to better align with community interests to truly revive this coin and it’s community.
Extending Swap Period
We initially set out a 1 month swap period, which in hindsight is too short of a time for all possible parties to get informed about the revival of ChiliCoin and get the time to perform the swap.
In this regard, we are extending the swap period by additional 2 months, allowing 3 months for interested parties to swap their coins.
The new swap finish date is: 05/07/2018 (05/July/2018)
Unswapped Coin Burn
After the swap period is finished on 05/07, the core team will perform a coin burn and completely remove the ALL unswapped coins from circulation.
The completely removal of coins from circulation is possible because transaction fees are destroyed when a transaction is made with ChiliCoin.
Transparency on the coin swap
As some users have pointed out, there is no transparent way to see how many coins have been swapped over and how many are left from the pre-mine to support the swap.
At the current moment in time, there are not enough stakers on the network to ensure stability and smooth operation. The core team have split up the pre-mine into multiple address and are staking the coins to ensure stability and block generation.
Once we can confirm that the network is sufficiently safe to operate without core team runnings the nodes, full pre-mine will be moved into a single address which can be monitored in the public blockchain.
Lastly, we are preparing the Discord server and will open it up soon.

Hello! There will be no ICO. We are continuing the work of the original Developer and not letting the coin die. Regarding the infinite supply: ChiliCoin has a small inflation rate of about 5%, which also reduces year on year, when it reaches the final Phase of PoS. Here is the reasoning for it: For a currency to be a true currency you need velocity and liquidity.What happens to a coin when miners/stakers no longer are receiving block rewards? Fees go up? that doesn’t provide for liquidity in the marketplace. At the same time, transaction fees get burned by the network. This means if the transaction count increases, it can reach equilibrium where the amount of coins being produced is equal to those being burned. This can even exceed the amount of coins being generated and de-flate the total supply. |

Dude, this things still in my head, are chillis (this chilli) mineable in your pool? i saw network runs 0 Gh/s on the explorer. i did run my miner pointing to your pool. but i didnt get any single accepted share.. whats going on? New CHILI is not mineable at all. It is fully Proof-of-Stake. Thanks for the support! Are the wallets synchronizing or only I'm experiencing difficulties? Another doubt, knowing that 1,200,000 CHILI was pre-mined the maximum supply of this is infinite, is this feasible? With regard to marketing can we recognize as an figurant currency? Anyway are many doubts and thanks for responding.
Hello, thanks for your concern! The wallets should stabilize and sync with ease as more people download and use them. The 1,200,000 CHILI pre-mine was to solely support the swap fro old coin to the new, any amount that is left unswapped will be burned. |

I've been syncing additional data @ 25% per last past 10 mins  Hello, the wallet will sync quicker and better stability once more nodes go online. For the time being, you can try closing and opening the wallet again. If that doesn't work, you could go to %appdata%/chilicoin-v2/ and delete all files apart from peers.dat and wallet.dat and relaunch the wallet. |
