141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 💩 We are now in the “shitcoin” season? 💩 on: November 28, 2019, 05:45:10 AM
I keep telling people that it would eventually get to a time when they would be wishing the stocked up on certain Altcoins instead of just grouping all Altcoins into the shitcoin category, you have to know that when altszn comes, some Altcoins would outperform even bitcoin, this is a fact, some alts are working hard to stay relevant in this space, especially with all negativity that's happening in the Cryptocurrency market right now.
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How soon the blockchain industry can be adopted, is this within 2020? on: November 27, 2019, 06:07:14 PM
If there is one thing that has been constant since the invention of Blockchain technology, it's it's unpredictability, anything could happen at anytime, Mark Zuckerberg went from fighting Cryptocurrencies to announcing his own suddenly, China did the same thing and Cryptocurrency adoption might happen faster than you think, it would come eventually and the time draws nigh, I have a feeling it might be in 2020.
143  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Top 5 Ways to Earn Crypto While You Sleep on: November 27, 2019, 05:54:40 PM
lending? are you seriously? I don't think this is a safety measure. there have been too many great losses from Bitcoinnect
I don't think she is talking about that kind of lending, I think she means the kind of P2P lending services which some services and exchanges offers, like the Nexo or Money token platforms and numerous exchanges where you can borrow cryptocurrency and repay it after a period of time, there are also some decentralised ones as well, it's a lucrative way if earning Cryptocurrencies especially when you lend stablecoins which is not prone to volatility.

I personally don't care much for staking because the annual reward is quite low (10% to 15%) compared to the risk involved, you might stake 10,000 tokens worth $5000 and by the end of the staking period, the staked tokens are now worth $500 even with the profit, it's just not worth it at all in this bear market.
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gaming on the blockchain - What do you think? on: November 26, 2019, 09:50:45 PM
Gaming on the blockchain grew so fast and is still expanding from what a few years ago, most of these gaming platforms were build on the EOS Blockchain and because of the recent spam attack, it just served to show us that blockchain gaming still has a long way to go and we still need a truly commercial blockchain that would be able to handle the thousands of transactions that gaming always imposes on a blockchain every minute, an online casino yesterday announced that they would be giving EOS a 30 day ultimatum to fix the issues or they would be migrating to another blockchain.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How NOT To Get Scammed on: November 26, 2019, 09:39:22 PM
Never ever trust your funds in the hands of another person especially a stranger who messages you on telegram, infact when a random stranger messages you on telegram without your permission, block them immediately before they even say anything to avoid being convinced to part with your money because if one juicy offer or another. What they have learnt now is to claim to be professional traders that could help you trade and remit the profits to you and it must have been working on some people because they scammers seem more persistent than ever.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A coin that solves a problem won't die on: November 26, 2019, 09:34:17 PM
I don't agree with this at all, there are good coins out there with very active devs andd developed products but they are dying daily because traders tend to ignore them in exchanges in favour of coins that would give them huge profit in return, the majority of Cryptocurrency enthusiasts especially the ones that tend to invest their money are doing it for the gain and not the technology.

Check for example when the IEO tokensale model was still very hot, some too exchanges launched some IEOs with a brand new social media account, no whitepaper and no team and no real concept and one of the most notable is the Emoji Network (LOL) IEO that was held in Huobi, bit it still sold out within seconds!.
147  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 10% collateral BTC loan...real or scam? on: November 26, 2019, 04:37:31 AM
When something sounds too good to be true, then it's definitely too good to be true, scammers always invent new ways to steal from the greedy and it seems they have found another means, calling it a loan instead of a money doubling scam scheme sounds more genuine and they wanna exploit it, if it were real, then it would be a money multiplying scheme.

Look at it like this... If they collect 10% collateral to give you loans, what stops you from just abandoning your collateral and riding into the sunset with your loot? So you would effectively have multiplied your money x10 when you successfully collect a loan, this doesn't make sense at all and it should tell you that the scheme is false and you should never consider doing it
148  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Risks with using trading Signals on: November 26, 2019, 04:31:49 AM
In the Cryptocurrency space, nobody is out to hand you free cash for nothing, some people see free signals groups and they join without even asking themselves why it was created in the first place, for charity? I highly doubt that would be the answer if they bother to ask, people always wants to make easy money and would do almost anything to get it without thinking of the repercussions.

As for the paid signals groups, they evidently are not doing it for charity but have you stopped to ask yourself why they would be collecting that kind of small amounts from you when they have all the knowledge in the trading world? They could simply have used the funds they have to multiply their cash by buying all the best coin and making huge profits daily, without having to carry anyone along too.
149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China implements new strict controls on Cryptocurrency on: November 26, 2019, 04:24:38 AM
While I commend the speed and dedication that the Chinese Government is showing towards Blockchain development, I also want to urge them to make up their mind about what they really want for the market, every of their decisions both positive and negative seems to be affecting the Cryptocurrency market and so always changing their mind about what they want is kinda frustrating, if they want to fully support Blockchain technology and Cryptocurrencies, then they should leave things as they are and only ensure that scam projects with nothing to offer never sees the light of day.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will BNB become the king of all coins on: November 26, 2019, 04:19:35 AM
The Binance blockchain is fast and efficient, no doubt about it but even the CEO announced that it wasn't made to be a competition to existing blockchain, Moreover it has not even been fully tested to know it's true potential, we always though EOS was God's gift to Blockchain technology but the recent spam stress has proven us all wrong, I don't think BNB would be the king of all coins, even the CEO doesn't believe that too.
151  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: An Overview of Bitcoin Android Wallet on: November 25, 2019, 08:02:56 AM
Personally,I prefer to use two mobile wallets and they are imtoken ana trust wallets.
imtoken 2.0: The reason why I love this wallet is purely sentimental, it's my first ethereum mobile wallet and I came to love that wallet because of it's reliability so when they upgraded to imtoken 2.0, I decided to give a try and I loved it too because it's very convenient, I could use a single wallet to store all my major coins, Bitcoin, ethereum, EOS and more.

Trust Wallet: I tried this wallet on a friend's recommendation as I have to admit that it was love at first use, I love the fact that I could back up every of the wallet there across all chains with just a single back-up phrase.
152  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Dangerous disadvantage of web wallet. on: November 25, 2019, 07:43:19 AM
This doesn't just happen in web wallets, it also applies for exchanges as well never send investment funds from an exchange wallet because it would be going straight to their hot wallet and that would require their technical staff to help retrieve it which would require a miracle to happen in most cases.

I would never recommend a web wallet to anyone because not only is it vulnerable to phishing attacks, it also involves a bit of centralisation, I have seen several cases where wallets freeze their users assets for one reason or the other, I personally used a mobile wallet, you can get this with Trust wallet and Imtoken.
153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A whale transfers $310 millions worth bitcoins for a ridiculously low fee!!! on: November 25, 2019, 07:22:17 AM
This is one oft he reasons why Cryptocurrencies is the logical next step in the evolution of money, the same currency can be used worldwide, you can send money in the form of Cryptocurrencies from anywhere and to anywhere in the world, even from the comforts of your home, you can trace your transactions on the blockchain and ensure that it reaches it's final destination safely and all without the interference of a single centralised authority and most importantly, all with a fee that's so tiny that it's negligible, Just imagine how much a bank would have charged to make that transfer of $300 million.
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The current news in China is just a fud or something more? on: November 25, 2019, 07:17:38 AM
I think the whole thing is just a classic example of Market manipulation, we saw how the news about the Chinese Government's support for Cryptocurrencies boosted the Bitcoin price for about +30% in just a single morning and it's not such a leap to think that the opposite would be the case if there was a negative news from China as well, first it was the Binance FUD which was proven wrong but at that point, had already started the damage, then news filtered through of the Chinese Government's hatred for Cryptocurrency exchanges, let's see ho this one plays out.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO is going to be slower ? on: November 25, 2019, 07:12:44 AM
Read the market, with the way things are right now, people are focusing their efforts on salvaging what they have left instead of buying new tokens, imagine buying and holding an exchange token in this terrible market condition, even if the IEO token were to give X5 profit, you might still be on the losing end when your new cost is subtracted from your net profit, there is a time for everything and right now isn't the right time for ay tokensale no after the Exchange, infact t isn't eve time for projects (no matter how established), to list in an exchange because the price would just keep going down, Cortex learnt that the hard way when they recently listed in Binance exchange.
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Metamask hacked ? on: November 24, 2019, 05:16:01 PM
Since that is the entirety of the ETH in your wallet and you're certain that you didn't initiate the transaction, then it's safe to say that your wallet has been hacked, I personally prefer mobile wallets because I get notifications whenever a transactions is initiated in my wallet, considering how long that transaction was made and you didn't even notice, it think you should consider using a mobile wallet and be careful where you store your keys.
157  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't run for merits! on: November 24, 2019, 04:26:40 PM
Before the merit system was introduced, all people had to do to rank up was to make as many posts as possible and this soon became a problem because people were making so many shitty posts and the solution was to introduce the merit system which definitely reduced the number of awful posts in the forum but it also started a merit race, everybody wants to rank up, be seen among the top people in the forum and this is usually done by starry-eyed newbies but I have noticed that after a while, only a few of the linger for long after they realise that it's easier said than done.

The forum has matured past the stage where every half-assed post is merited, it is now in a stage where only the really good and helpful posts are merited so people can chase it all they want, that doesn't mean they would get it, just keep being yourself, spend as much of your free time as possible here, contribute positively to the forum and you would reach the peak in due time.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I talk about market problems? on: November 24, 2019, 04:12:55 PM
I just want to know, about market issues.
1. Reasons that make you survive or still believe in this market?
4. In your opinion how to overcome the market situation so that it can be stable again?
1. History: all you need to do is just take some time to look at the history of Bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies in general and you would see that it has passed through worse phases and this period is even take compared to what has happened in the past and it still survived, history never lies and I believe in my heart that the green we used to know is not gone forever, it would be back eventually even though it might see like all hope is lost not.

4. Manipulation: If all price manipulation would stop, I think it would be a huge step in solving the issues we have in the Cryptocurrency market, the manipulators hold the Aces and even in a good or bad market, they are winning, a that matters to them is the profit and nothing else.
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TRADING A SINGLE TOKEN IN BETWEEN EXCHANGES on: November 23, 2019, 11:29:27 PM
This is what's called Arbitrage tradinga Nd this is what most day traders do, ofcourse there are tools that can help you trade seamlessly between exchanges from one single terminal so you wouldn't have to go through the stress of depositing, withdrawing and the delays that occur to move funds from one exchange to another but these tools are not free but they are what the top traders use, Arbitration is quite old but it is one of the surest ways to make profit through Cryptocurrency trading, the problem s usually identifying price differences between exchange especially between top exchanges.
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there an example for a successful ICO launched on Stellar on: November 23, 2019, 10:59:14 PM
Considering what you have as your signature and personal text, I can assure you that if you launch a shitcoin, no matter the Blockchain where it's launched, it would not be successful, Blockchain used to play a great role in the success of a project but that is in the past bow, projects has to really prove their worth before investors take a second look at them because investors has been rekt so many times in the past and they are being careful now.
