1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SRBMiner Cryptonight AMD GPU Miner V1.9.3 - native algo switching on: August 12, 2019, 03:34:47 PM
CONCEAL - CCX - COMPARE
2*vega56+1vega64
identical setup and amd mem tweak.
srbminer  tweak is disable

SRBMINER- 12740HR (595W)

vega56-4200hr
vega64-4400hr

TRM - 13560HR (602W)

vega56-4400hr
vega64-4740hr

What is the point of showing 3 minute hashrate? We all know that TRM can be faster, but many support Doktor for he's hard work and low fees.
And about your earlier messages on last pages - you really do need to see a doctor, but not the one in this thread.

My Vega 64 gained 12H/s vs 1.6.9 on v8. Stable at 2134H/s, power consumption remained the same.

Nice hash rate, what’s your miner settings? Did you modify your mem clocks?

I apologize for spreading fuzz about Vega hotspot temps on Friday - it was all my own fault. Conductonaut had solidified/oxidized most likely due to power outage 2 days before the fork(even though room temp did not drop to 8C).
I also apologize for my unfair outburst towards Monero devs(at the moment of writing I thought v8 had killed my card).
Vega owners, check your hotspot temps. My Vega didnt survive the night mining v8 even when I dropped the core to 1250@865mV
And a big fat F U to Monero devs
Completely your fault. Many times was repeated - do not look GPU temp. Every Vega need to be set at 50c gpu temp (which is minimum by driver) and then HotSpot and HBM2 temps will be ok.
What GPU temp are you referring to?

Overall my hashrate dropped 5% with 10% power increse vs v7.

My Vega64wc gets 2060H/s on v8 vs 2200H/s on v7 ,BUT... using same settings(1456/1130@870mV) GPU starts to throttle down to 1300MHz as Hot Spot temperature increases to 110C+
I have to lower clocks to 1250/1050 to keep the Hot Spot just under/at 100C and hashrate drops to 1900H/s(while still using 30w more power from the wall). Is Monero team trying to free the world from Vegas?

As for miner settings I'm still figuring it out, 123 intensity, dual threads and 16 worksize at the moment. W10, 18.6.1 driver

Very bad: Vega 64 Cryptonight V7

It looks like you are using default config.txt
Cast XMR automatically configures for you. For SRB, you need to change the intensity, worksize, and thread number until you find the ideal one.

Changed but not good Smiley.
What intensity are you using? Here is a pic with I:119,8 W:16 dual threads:

... looks good to me

Vega 64 on SRB1.2.5 CNHeavy stable 1500H/s (int 60, dual)
                 SRB1.3.1 CNv7      stable 2100H/s (int 120, worksize 16, dual)

Thanks dev for your hard work, this miner looks very promising!

That's a nice HBM clock you have there!

With Stak-XMR set intensity to 1008/904, worksize 4 or 8, strided index 2, mem chunk 8 or 16. Should get you over 1500H/s
https://www.upload.ee/image/8299205/memchunk16.PNG

Or use SRBminer, really easy to set up and only 0,85% dev fee. Dual threads and intensity 60 nets also 1500H/s

Weird thing with my Vega is that I have to restart the miner several times until the first hashrate reports are above 1500, then it stays like that...

What are the clocks and voltages?

Sorry, did not notice your question before.
1407/1100, edited powerplay tables from hellae. Main monitor is connected to 280x but Vega64 has one connected also. Here is an example, been running rock steady +-5H/s:

Edit: just noticed from my screenshot that I've had 1 error, it is not reported on the pool side though...

Thanks for reply!
Are you on latest drivers? With aug23 blockchain drivers I got very weird results ...
I'm still on bc drivers...
