61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some clever ideas for your success! on: October 18, 2018, 05:49:50 PM
The 1st principle: never lose your money.
The 2nd principle: look for opportunities and avoid big risks. Return must be greater than risk.
The 3rd principle: pay taxes.
The 4th principle: create a diversified portfolio:
various classes of assets, investments in each class of assets, investments in different markets, countries, and currencies + it's necessary to distribute investments in time.

Remember that there's no ideal time for investments. However, if you regularly invest in different assets,  you'll reduce the risk and increase the return in the long term.

6 main mistakes causing to fail:
1) Subjectivity in perception.
2) The belief that today's trend will last forever. Today's winners are tomorrow's losers!
3) Overconfidence in your knowledge and skills.
4) Greed, impatience, passion.
5) Geographic limitation.
6) Negative mood and the fear of losing. As we all know, people remember a bad experience much better than a positive one. We're afraid of losing money and lose it, in the end, because of our wrong actions.
Money is emotions, and we should be positive. If you don't control your brain - it will control you!
80% of our success is our psychological mood and the rest 20% depends on instruments and methods. Stop set yourself up for failure!
Of course, I understand that you won't become rich and successful quickly after reading my post. But I want you to focus on the positive!

Tell me, please, what kind of methods of psychological training you use? Thnx!

awesome! overconfidence is essential when it's for self-esteem but not in skills, you're right. pay taxes wisely;) clear focus matters too. i use imagination and make plans with step by step description.

62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: who is responsible for the scam project on: October 17, 2018, 05:52:12 PM
Who is responsible for fraud projects. doesn't that cause a lot of losses and what punishment is worth.
the idea of punishing or somehow diminishing scam activity will be one of the most discussed n crypto  worls in case it spreads widely. it is indeed a trouble with which we can't do anything yet
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of crypto on: October 16, 2018, 05:13:54 PM
Hey guys, what do you think about the future of crypto? Where it will be used? How much bitcoin will cost? Or maybe crypto is going to die...... I want to hear your thoughts.
no, i don't think it will die. will transform probably into something more complex than it is now but surely it will serve its purpose in the end, that is replacing fiat. i think the future will be grat for it
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: People say altcoins won't survive on: October 14, 2018, 10:49:47 AM
Many community members have been claiming lately that altcoins are going to die or at least that 90% of altcoins are doomed. I tend to agree with them that there are many coins and tokens that are pointless and won't survive. Another cathegory are alts with solid foundations but won't manage to fight with their competitors as naturally there are numerous projects with same visions. But if you trust the project you invested in, there is no reason to change your mind just because someone says many altcoins won't succeed. Do your research and trust only your own judgement, because many ALTCOINS ARE HERE TO STAY!
absolutely agree! i think we can't complain unless we have some alternative to offer. easier to say stuff without proving it or taking actions, far more difficult to take some pains to actually change anything
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto like a fulltime job on: October 13, 2018, 07:35:12 PM
I don’t mind that a lot of people are everyday here. Our trying to be rich is clear and the majority of us are ready to make crypto our fulltime job. Of course, it could not be so easy at the beginning but I am sure that the amount of participant on the cryptomarket will be grown so much in the future it just needs in becoming more popular and so many organizations will lose their employees because of crypto. I think that it is the one more reason of crypto’s being banned. Are you ready to give up your job to be here or not?
this matter may be considered from different perspectives, and i am pretty much sure the majority of us are really keen on taking crypto as a full time job. nice thought my friend!
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The future of Crypto on: October 12, 2018, 03:34:20 PM
Blockchain technology is driving innovation in different sectors.Although there are currently many restrictions on this, and some countries do not want to accept it, it is possible that blockchain technology will become more popular in the future.

The problem is that governments do not yet know how to respond to cryptocurrencies, they are still confused and skeptical about how to deal with it without destroying the current financial systems.

Over time, I think that the technology will be adopted in every country, and What do you think about it?
yes i am perfectly sure it will be adopted in every country yet! the time periods between it can be really long, and by the time the whole world goes crypto we will enjou our pensions
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple the next bitcoin? on: October 11, 2018, 06:52:40 PM
As we all have seen ripple has been quite strong these past few days and with all that it has done over the past months compared to most other currencies and the launch of xrapid is actually starting to show in its price.
There is so much talk about ripple taking over bitcoin and being 10$ what are your thoughts on this ?
ripple acts really unexpected today, just remember when it was second after btc, moving eth to the third place, incredible! looks like it starts awkening and gaining power
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Still HODL? on: October 10, 2018, 06:09:17 PM
Right now is a tough time for anybody holding tokens. The HODL strategies put into effect a mere 3 months ago have cost portfolios a huge % loss in value...
I myself have witnessed thousands upon thousands in value destruction. Hrmmm, but what to do now?

Although I have watched, slowly and painfully, tokens descend in value equivalent to a brand new Cadillac down to a value where I cant even sell them for a used 1980s Ford where the bumper falls off...

Instead, I opted to HODL… But the question remains...
Should one effectively Sell-Out and take that broke down ford valuation now?
OR.
Does one still HODL and dream of Lambos full of Women and cocaine?

hodling is the best way to get your women and if not cocaine then whiskey at least. but i think each to his taste! hodling or selling or buing, doesn't really matter as long as we trust in crypto
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There is no need to panic!!!!! on: October 09, 2018, 08:27:15 PM
The blockchain technology at this stage can be compared to the internet at its early stages, where mass adoption was also an issue. The internet was actually invented in 1969 but didn't get adopted until the 1990s, even then it wasn't accessible to everybody. But it has now become a necessity in every industry and for everybody worldwide.
The blockchain technology is at its infancy stage and it is already making innovations in different industries. Though there are a lot of restrictions against it presently and some nations do not want to adopt it, but it is not a technology that can be stopped and it will surely gain mass adoption with time.

What is your opinion about the blockchain technology?
i think it is true, and by the way i see this example with the internet quite often. yet it may refer to computers, plastic surgery, mobile phones, social networks. it's a part of a process of adhpjusting
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what woukd you say to the head of ethereum or any other? on: October 07, 2018, 09:28:40 PM
For those of you who are a fan of Ethereum I want to tell you that recently Casper code has been integrated in the platform called Substrate by Parity. If some of you do not know Parity is a start up from the Ethereum team. What do you think about It? Will change our lovely Ethereum in some way or this is just a side project which has no chances for the vivid and rich future? What do you think about side projects as a whole? Maybe they are just soaking up energy and time and of course money that should be spent on other more important things?
If you met the head of Ethereum team what would say to him or her? Heads of what cryptocurrencies you would like to meet one day and do you want to tell them? Personally I have no idea... I do not think I can criticize or praise somebody's work, I do not have enough power or even knowledge for this.
But what about you?
wow, that's really a thought! i think it won't affect eth. maybe that man wants to gain more experience? anyway, the topic is wonderful as now i'll be ready for possible slow pace of eth. thanx!
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Ethereum vanish? on: October 07, 2018, 11:02:47 AM
I know that this year is quite odd when it comes to crypto curriences. My main concern is Ethereuem. I know that in almost year ago the max price was 1.200$. So i am really cheering for comeback on the some discent values..
it's like in life, a great push may affect you in two ways, either you pull yourself together and make a huge step forward or you break down and go restore yourself to psychologist
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Criminal life is easier on: October 06, 2018, 04:53:19 PM
How do you think: does crypto make criminal life much easier? We all know that criminals use crypto to sell drugs, guns, people and everything else. Did crypto make doing such things easier? Earlier criminals had to think how to keep their anonymity and get paid, how launder their money, how to not get catched with this. But now they can just use crypto and all the headache about this financial troubles passed away. Of course there is much bigger positive points of crypto and not every user of crypto is a criminal, but anyway are you worried about this? Criminals also worsen the reputation of crypto that is not really stable itself.
criminals won't be happy with crypto. i think that kind of technology isn't really convinient for them. cash is so much easier to obtain and it is really new, they will have to use their brain
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The path may be rough on: October 05, 2018, 06:45:46 PM
The journey to making it big in the crypto space most times might not be smooth. Even virtually every success in life is not always on a bed of roses. There are challenges we need to overcome. There are times we gain and sometimes we loose. See these as just what you need to pass through and do not be perturbed.
Every experience has its lessons and blessings.
-Even if you have been scammed, get your lessons from it.
-If you lost your money in the cause of trading, try to know what made you to lose.
-If you made a wrong choice of ICO, know what lead to it.
-If your predictions never worked out well, consider the factors.
These and some other things are what make the crypto experience interesting.

Though, the path may be rough, you will surely get there.
to know what made you lose is crucial. to overcome tough times when you doubt not only crypto but yourself in general means to overgrow your old habits and become new person
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum – The shadow of Bitcoin? on: October 04, 2018, 06:57:54 PM
When you talk about Cryptocurrency industry, you just can’t go through it without mentioning Bitcoin, and rightly so. And with such scenario, is Ethereum not always a 2nd or a shadow like thing for it?

Do you guys EVER believe in Ethereum pushing Bitcoin or actually over-taking it? In reality, it looks next to impossible but with Ethereum price prediction, it shows a lot of possibilities in years to come! So, I feel and strongly feel it will some day come out from the shadows of Bitcoin.
hello! i think that aim won't be achieved in another 5 years, i think btc is quite firm in its grip and eth is still in need of improving. right now it's all a mess, of course but soon we will see a clear picture
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Experience is the best teacher on: October 03, 2018, 02:28:18 PM
If the adage "Experience is the best teacher" is applicable in different spheres of life, it is definitely applicable in the cryptospace. Those who have been in this space for quite sometimes now will be able attest to the fact that the experience they have had through encounters with different projects and coins on different exchanges, is now helping them to be able to identify at least to an extent both genuine and scam projects.
What could have aided this could be due to the fact that there is no regulatory body, alongside other reasons in the cryptosphere.
So, the more your level of exposure, the more your experience and the better you become.
i do enjoy reading it, sounds like we have the same attitide to making mistakes. besides, for each person there are unique mistakes or rather lessons it teach. no need to growl at fate
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you share the president of Malta opinion? on: October 02, 2018, 05:40:38 PM
Have you heard the news? Giving his speech on the UN general assembly, the president of Malta said that the cryptocurrency was the future of money and the blockchain technology would make bank system more reliable and better in general. In my opinion, this statement is too optimistic as the cryptocurrency is forbidden in some countries and this situation is not going to change in the nearest future. But I can say that I like his determination to move on and accept the new technologies that some people are still afraid of.
What do you think? In what way would you change bank system? Have you suffered from its drawbacks? And how exactly do you think blockchain can change the situation? And what future is ahead of us in the cryp5ocurrency world? I know it is a little bit too early to predict something, but still... Are you scared of the future or waiting for it with your arms open?
good example of a strong and broad-minded character! we certainly need that in crypto. nice to hear we are not the only ones who believe that blockchain is much safer and convinient. thanks for inspiration!
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency to be Taught in Schools? on: October 01, 2018, 05:21:23 PM
Hi guys!
I'm pretty sure that many of you have been experiencing difficulty on making other people aware of cryptocurrency and how it works, right? I myself find it hard to explain it even to my own family. Once you mention it to them, the first thing that comes to their mind is that it's a scam. Can't blame them though because the news about crypto scams are always hyped in social media and believe me, even my 70 year old mom has Facebook!

Anyway, I realized that this is the case because there has never really been any formal education about it at all. We knew about it only thru word of the mouth right and we only got to learn it slowly thru experience. This said, I'm thinking, what if it's taught in schools? Perhaps just start with those taking Accountancy or Banking and Finance courses to begin with, then eventually incorporate it to Mathematics subject or whatever in High School? After all, they were able to do that with banking, right? Why not with cryptocurrency? What do you think?
that is really interesting point! indeed, since the world updates we have to consider new subjects in schools. and i think it is more than wise to start learning these new things.
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in ICO, still promising? on: February 10, 2018, 06:59:25 PM
I noticed that some ICO now produce a product, which is a step forward! I think that the ecosystem is always developing, and it will be interesting to see where it goes.
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH or Waves? on: February 10, 2018, 06:47:41 PM
I'm holding on to the Etherium. Since ICO is based on the eth platform and grows more and more, they will eventually tell us about the bright future of the air, so it's better to keep the ETH
