1  Economy / Marketplace / Re: THE Place to Shop w/ Bitcoin: BitCoinWorldMarket.com on: July 09, 2011, 08:18:03 PM
This is impressive. I was so exited about being able to get any of those items for btc until I realized that only US-Shipping was available Sad

Hopefully you'll get international shipping soon. And, if possible, with low costs, or perhaps the possibility to choose between high fees and faster shipping providers or lower fees with slower shipping providers.

Regarding the price difference, it makes sense for me. I actually think that the prices are quite fair for taking the risk to create an only-btc market and setting fixed prices on a extremely volatile economy.

So congratulations, thank you, and good luck.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Huge Television Ad for Bitcoin on All the Major Networks on: July 03, 2011, 06:53:35 AM
I do agree that this is not the time for a mainstream commercial. You could use that money to develop a more user-friendly wallet. Something more secure, attractive, and mostly EASY for non-tech people. It is the key, I believe, for bitcoin's success. Nonetheless I highly appreciate the intention.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How old are you? Survey. on: July 03, 2011, 06:41:48 AM
So we can conclude that 19 and 25 year's do not exist at all. It's like a black hole in age.

You learn something new every day huh?
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does it bother you USD is used to finance drugs, child porn, and terrorism? on: July 03, 2011, 06:38:30 AM
Of course not. I think that everyone'll agree that this is a natural consequence of this kind of currency.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: TradeHill - AUD market is now live. on: July 03, 2011, 06:33:12 AM
Congratulations on the new system.

Hopefully we'll have some method to withdrawn in Argentina soon u.u
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Smile, we are in the TV on: June 20, 2011, 10:07:00 PM
Wow, not bad. With this and the incoming article on the economist (a new one, according to the following post http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=19030.0) bitcoin's popularity could reach unforseen heights.

I, for one, though that the hack on mtgox would have a worst effect on btc's economy. Glad I was mistaken.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: TradeHill - Who we are on: June 19, 2011, 07:32:50 PM
Just for the record, I've spoken to rep's from th when I had a few issues and the response obtained was accurate and quick. Volume seems to be going higher. And, well, judging for the circumstances...

Wow, this seems pretty cool. Just joined Tongue
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: mtgox might just kill Bitcoins chances of success on: June 13, 2011, 12:56:53 AM
I think you're correct. Full information is needed in order to proceed acordingly.

Anyway, I think that the price will eventually reach a stable growth, which should be somewhat proportional with difficulty increases, in order to keep miners producing and the market stable.
11  Economy / Economics / Re: The price of BTC needs to come down on: June 13, 2011, 12:43:08 AM
I totally agree with the concept. On terms of relative value, nothing will change. While "new btcs" might have a 1/10 of their actual value, everyone would have 10/1 btcs. It would make everyone's life easier, and perhaps provide us with the useful illusion of a higher volume.

Anyways, sooner or later we'll need to do something like this. Oh, and I don't agree with changing the terminology. We could just make big announcements stating that from xx/xx/xxxx 1 BTC equal 10 new BTCs, then, modify the old bitcoin client, and that's it. I think we should take care of putting enough emphasis on "big announcements": This should be announced at least 1 month before the actual modification.

My two cents.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we get some regulation in this forum? on: June 11, 2011, 11:26:32 PM
Judging for the result of the self-evident trolling, yes, I think there should be some kind of regulation regarding "panic sell sell sell" and the like. Perhaps a new thread specifically for that kind of bullshit can be created. By doing so, there would be no violation of any free-speech rights, and idiotic-content-laking posts would be moved just for the sake of having a clean forum.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Worldwide Exclusive: New Competitor to MtGox: http://TradeHill.com on: June 10, 2011, 11:37:52 PM
How can I transfer the money to LR? Does anybody know?

LR is now it's own currency on TradeHill.

Yes, I read that, but I don't get it.. I mean, the procedure. How can I somehow turn my btc's into LR's and withdraw them? Step by step? =P
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Worldwide Exclusive: New Competitor to MtGox: http://TradeHill.com on: June 10, 2011, 10:09:48 PM
Guys, I'm having a issue withdrawing my funds.

I have 31,82U$S balance in my account and when I try to withdraw them by LR, the following msg appears: You do not have enough LR available to withdraw 31 LR! Only 0.0000 LR available.

How can I transfer the money to LR? Does anybody know?

Thanks!

Edit: Wow, I got a response in just a few hours. I'm delighted at how fast their service is.
15  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you going to trade hill instead of mtgox? on: June 10, 2011, 06:41:15 PM
Well, I just started with this bitcoin stuff, and somehow tradehill seemed much better for me.

I have no complains. Sold a btc for 32U$S, they took their fee (quite low), and I received 31.82U$S.

They have the instant-buy and instant-sell thing which is great, also.

So, TradeHill for me.
16  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [~2300 Gh/s Mining Pool] HTTPS,API, instant payouts,LP,+1% for NO INVALID BLOCKS on: June 08, 2011, 07:11:58 PM
Guys.. I just started mining yesterday at this pool. I placed 0,5bc as the minimum for automatic payment.. and now my account is empty, even though this happened:

08.06.2011 18:25   1N5CJYe1NecihEiSgyoX...   0.02
08.06.2011 18:00   1N5CJYe1NecihEiSgyoX...   0.5

But nothing appears on my wallet. It appears here: http://blockexplorer.com/address/1N5CJYe1NecihEiSgyoXwFGVZzEM4Mp76E

But it doesn't on my own bitcoin.exe, as you can see on the following screen:
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/815/mybitcoin.jpg/

Can somebody help me?
