0xcert Quarterly Report - Q4 2018With the turn of the year well behind us, it’s an appropriate time to review the last months of 2018 in terms of product development and community building. Compared to the Q3, the final part of the year was all about development. In particular, we were focused on building and improving the final touches of the 0xcert Framework. After the exciting and news-abundant Q3, in the Q4 we have turned the focus more inwards and devoted our time mostly to the development and perfecting the products we’ve released. It was a solid foundation for the Q1 of 2019. 🚀 Read the whole report HERE.

0xcert Labs has launched
As an addition to our work in developing open-source tools for the developer community, 0xcert has set off to support other projects and businesses with blockchain solutions, too. This week, we're proudly launching the 0xcert Labs, an initiative to bring our expertise and experience to help entrepreneurs and their projects reach their blockchain target and grow with it.

After months of hard work, we're proud to announce our new milestone: the 0xcert Framework v1 RC1 Framework announcement at the North American Bitcoin ConferenceWhat is 0xcert Framework? The 0xcert Framework is a free and open-source JavaScript library that provides tools for building powerful decentralized applications. Our mission is to equip application developers with a secure, agnostic and opinionated framework with conventions to enable interoperability between applications. What does it solve?Let's imagine the 0xcert Framework as a funnel that untangles the complexity of the current way of building a dapp and narrows it all down to just a few lines of code. But you don't have to push your imagination too hard. Here is what the difference looks like. Needless to say, this brings enormous reductions to developing time and needed personnel (both equal lower budget). Also, you can be much more confident in the quality of the final outcome, as the Framework follows strict conventions and standards. The main features of the 0xcert FrameworkApart from making the code a whole lot more cleaner and transparent, the Framework serves as an essential contribution to the decentralized world for the following reasons: - It supports creation (minting), management, and verification of ERC-721 non-fungible tokens (assets). This way, you can tokenize and trade any unique item or asset you like on the blockchain.
- It provides management of ERC-20 fungible tokens (currencies). So you can add a financial value expressed in fungible tokens to your non-fungible ERC-721 asset.
- It enables and executes many-to-many atomic operations. You can create and transfer multiple tokens (either fungible or non-fungible) on the blockchain in one single transaction.
- It provides conventions for interoperability between different applications. With this, you can work with many applications in the same way without having to adapt to different systems.

what you have done with investors' money? only travel around the world and post irrelevant tweets? We have been developing swapmarket.com and working on ERC721 updates. https://0xcert.org/news/0xcert-released-erc721-v2-rc1Besides that, we will present a new product next week in Miami on the North American Bitcoin Conference. Stay tuned

Why not organize a voting clerk? There is not a good exchange yet. What are you doing, organizing votes and not needing money?
We are working on exchanges. Even on Delta Summit we have visited OKEx and Binance booths to talk with them.

Can i earn the tokens offering particular improvements? I suppose that this should become a part of bounty campaign.
We have an active bug bounty for the ERC721 implementation. Other bug bounties will follow

Good afternoon. How are you going to attract users to your platform? What’s the main element of your strategy?
It seems to me that anyone who wants to work with NFT has already heard about 0xcert or will hear about it in the near future. The problem is that some people don’t even suspect that NFT token can simplify the use of blockchain technology in their solutions. It’s told in the WP that conclusion of partnership agreements is really important for this platform. I suppose that this will become the main strategy of diffusion if the product. Is the promotion strategy itself described in the WP? That’s what i’d like to learn about more. Yep, it’s given in brief. I hope that the team will update the WP after the end of the ICO and all the details will be considered there. Anyway, the interest to the product is incredible even at the stage of the ICO, so you shouldn’t worry about promotion. Oh yeah! This is one of the more exciting things that we are working on We are building out a whole ecosystem of stakeholders in the NFT space. How? The details will be updated constantly, but in general, we will be forming partnerships, organizing events and incentivising developers/projects/companies to build with 0xcert.

Hi. When are you gonna create smart contracts for NFT working on the base of other blockchains? Are u gonna do it at all?
Since the protocol is blockchain agnostic we will be implementing it on other blockchains that support smart contract functionality. When? As soon as we are done with Ethereum

Does yr implementation support the ERC-165 token format? I havent managed to find an answer to this question so far.
Yes. You can check out our Github for that: https://github.com/0xcert

I saw this logo somewhere on a website - I think you guys were working together with some association related to the new erc721? I would like to know more about this, if possible....
We are working closely with William Entriken in regards to ERC721

I can see clearly an opportunity to use NFT in tradable collectible games. Has the 0xcert team considered such an option?
TCGs are one of the better examples of usage for non-fungible tokens! It's actually for the first time possible to bridge the gap between online and offline, very excited to see companies adopt it!

Good afternoon. Nowaydas the final version of ERC721 token was listed. What do you think about it?
Personally, it seems to me that it wouldn’t happen without efforts of 0xcert, including work on attraction of attention to the project. Hmm did the 0xcert team take part in development? I thought that it was made by the Ethereum team members. William Entriken is the main author of the ERC721 standard, he is also an advisor to 0xcert. 0xcert is currently the only full implementation of the standard and listed as a reference implementation. You can also play around with our mini app that lets you issue non-fungible tokens - manager.0xcert.org

Good evening. Are you planning to look for promising start-ups and involve them into yr own ecosystem? It seems to me that this will allow to expand the network of users without considerable financing.
Yes! We are already doing this as much as possible - time is short right now though. If you know any developers or startups that would like to get involved please make an intro to us
