4  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bounty Payout Scam (Mark.Space) on: April 14, 2018, 09:55:53 PM
Not saying it's fair, but they did update the bounty post.

TOTAL TOKENS SOLD: 145305220,5 MRK

0,5% * 145305220,5 MRK = 726526 MRK ALLOCATED FOR OUR BOUNTY CAMPAIGN

15mil tokens is 10% of what they sold in ICO Smiley wouldn't have been fair for the ones paying money for the tokens.

Bounty hunters do not receive the tokens for free -- they work for it. Also, in this sector filled with fraud, keeping one's word is extremely valuable. Bounties are done because they are essential to marketing.

Yeah..they do Smiley tbh, i had a look at the bounty links, shares and everything. Funny how people with 1-2 followers, 1-2 likes took part of this, but let's say this is not subject of our discussion.
Funny also how you say bounty hunters "work" for this when the project did not sold all their tokens. Not saying this is at fault but it's part of it.

So you're expecting bounty hunters to get rich off 15mil tokens while the project suffers?
It was adjusted DURING the bounty (people could have bailed off) when it was clear that not all tokens will be sold, and again my opinion is that it's fair.
It the project would have sold ALL ico tokens, why not give 15 mil to bounty, or actually 5% of the ICO pool, which is again not 15mil.

You people are stuck on an idea and call this project a scam because of it. I would get a life instead if i were you.

@Pistacia man, you were hoping for 1mil tokens, right?
Btw...you need to find another title for your topic. They did pay %5 of the tokens sold. You're misleading people into thinking this is actually a scam

Not saying it's fair, but they did update the bounty post.

 thanks for repeating the crucial point.  the Mark.space scammers "updated" the rules just when all the bounty work had been done.

An absolute no-go.  arbitrarily changing the rules?   This has nothing to do with being fair or not - it's all about deceiving people intentionally.

Not trustworthy.

Should they not pay out the remaining amount, red trust on their account is inevitable

You're not logical anymore, you're just pissed off and no matter what anyone says,  you're set with your own ideas.
They changed the bounty rules, that THEY MADE INITIALLY. Who says they can't change their own rules? It was even during the bounty, you didn't discover this when they transferred you the tokens.
By the looks of it, it's just a mathematical mistake as the 15 mil stated on the whitepaper is 0.5% out of the total token pool, not even from the ICO pool. They're not making you rich man Smiley try again.

I do hope they don't pay out 15 mil tokens to bounty with 150 mil sold in ico otherwise investors would be more pissed off than you are.

Well, I'm a little confused, because the team celebrated their recent Tokyo Representative office launch in Shinjuku Hilton Hotel. Mark.Space still have not reached a stage where they can afford this level of luxury. Their bounty supporters are waiting for reward, whilst team members drink champagne in Hilton.

These guys, as far as I heard, severely cut off the bounty pool, as written in bounty tread it was allocated 15M tokens, and they would pay 700K

Is that true? I guess we need to have a clarification from the devs about this matter as this will surely have an impact on their reputation. Smiley

This is very unprofessional, hopefully the team will clarify about this point. However bounty pools should always be in % not in absolute value.
In fact, just do not need developers to confuse bounty participants. It is necessary to write unambiguously the terms of bounty. This occurs quite often. But I agree with you about the absolute value.
I'm wondering what the exchanges will be this month.
This is by no means fair on their part. All conditions must be precisely indicated and observed, I am upset

As i was saying in the other post, they did update the bounty post. Not saying it's fair but...

Probably the mistake was putting a hard number on the %, assuming they sell all tokens. That didn't happens but they still gave 5% of what was sold.

15mil as stated in the whitepaper is not even 5% of the ICO Pool, it's from the total number of tokens if you actually make the calculation.

8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Vereum ICO - The new Ethereum on: April 11, 2018, 06:14:21 PM
Okay, so i've made an account on bitcointalk just for you guys.
Let's start:

-Domain was registered on 27 March , under private hosting on the name of Marcelo Mangas. Who is this?
-Where are you guys located? Are you a business? What's the registration number?
-No team specified on the website, i understand that you're saying that you're a global team however why should i believe you? What are your names so i can check you guys? Who am i sending money to?
-Facebook link on your website points to a private group, not a Facebook page;
-Twitter link is broken;
-Github link is there but github page does not exist;
-Website is poorly made, even a 10 year old could make it better and you're saying you want to go and build a blockchain? PS: even the terms and conditions and license agreement links DO NOT EXIST, nothing happens when i click on them;
-The one and only medium article you published https://medium.com/@veriumcoin123/verium-ico-the-new-ethereum-df9a1fcdfde1 , is just a copy/paste from your whitepaper;
You did not even bother to remove the page breaks - Please continue to next page…
-Going back to the website, your https://vereum.io/vereumjelly.html has a link that says: "Login to see your source code", that points to http://vereumcoin.co, which is of course non-existant;
-Your whitepaper doesn't explain at all what you want to do and how you are going to achieve it. You're just piggybacking on the name of "the new ethereum" and copy/pasted the usual "blockchain issues" that everyone is trying to solve.
-Where's the ROADMAP?

Funny how your whitepaper says:
The supply of VERIUM COINS WILL RISE (LOL), and YOU WILL BE ABLE TO MAKE A PROFIT from the purchase you make during the Pre-ICO and ICO period.
How will the price rise? Each time someone uses the network, they will pay a fee in VRM coins this will return to the network to keep it stable and fast leaving less supply of VRM coins resulting a higher price. Not only that, VRM coins will be exchanged on major exchanges including our own resulting in a higher price of a VRM coin.

Do you promise a profit already? Are you also planning on building you own exchange which obviously will be a "major" one? That's what i get from your statements.

++++++ a lot of other issues that i could spend another 2 pages and 3 hours to list all of them

Even for a scam it's very poorly made.
