Locking this topic for 2 reasons. 1.) I'm done bitching.  2.) Most of the Replies on here are either by people just wanting to pump their paid responses by adding Retarded comments or people are just fucking stupid. Half the comments here are just beyond fucking stupid and the other half are just spammers looking to get paid because they posted a comment because they are lame fucking inbred losers trying to make a penny for a post.

Locked. Fuck you theymos and fuck the commenters.  Have a great day/week/year/life.

Yes i have posted BTC addresses from my original account but because the wallets became corrupted i deleted them
I guess it's time for you to accept reality: you'll have to follow instructions in Recovering hacked/lost accounts, and if those guys decide they can't guarantee you're the original account owner, you won't get it back.

Fact is his shitty foresight allowed Bitcointalk to be hacked and Mine and many thousands of users had our info compromised. So i should be nice about his weak security?
As far as I know, only the encrypted password database was taken. That means only the weak passwords could be brute-forced, so it is indeed your own weak security that made it possible to hack the account.

Can you be more polite next time ?
Why? Are you offended on behalf of the guy who can smite OP? Maybe the internet and especially a forum that allows freedom of speech isn't for you.
If you don't like someone's posts, Ignore them. It's that simple.

M PW was far from weak. It was 11 Characters/numbers/symbols. Not onyl am i pissed about losing my Original Username the hack caused real damage to me and many others. The hack allowed access to main Emails causing Stolen identities,Information on other accounts,Medical etc. etc. People think it's just about a Username. It's about Accountability too. I should have filed a lawsuit against him.

Just an update: Rich died on July 21st 2023. I thank Bobsurplus Maidak and others who helped give me more years with Richy.

I don't think Theymos minds all that much if he's called a cunt.  I think I've slung that epithet at him once or twice myself (with a dose of love attached, of course).  He's too high up there to take offense, know what I mean?
It's one of the things I love about Bitcointalk: the freedom to say whatever you want, even about someone who can wipe your account off the board. OP has a sense of humor, I like it.

I love that you are the only one posting that understands my post and humor in it.

For everyone else this is called Breaking balls. Yes i have posted BTC addresses from my original account but because the wallets became corrupted i deleted them and i upgraded Comps. For people saying i should be nice or kiss his ass or apologize....I say Why? Who is he ? a God? Are you that pathetic that you need to idolize him and feel you and i need to worship him? Give me a break.

Fact is his shitty foresight allowed Bitcointalk to be hacked and Mine and many thousands of users had our info compromised. So i should be nice about his weak security?
Give me a fucking break.

Hey Theymos I'm still kicking and want my fucking original account back otrkid70 Stop being a cunt and give it back. It was because of your failed shitty security breach that i lost my account.  If not I'll piss off for another few years. Either way Fuck you.  Grin

7  Other / Meta / Re: Post history on: November 02, 2022, 08:19:22 PM
Yeah everyone can still see your posts even if they got deleted. Two most popular ways to see deleted (yours and everyone else's) posts are via https://ninjastic.space/ and https://loyce.club/archive/posts/

That first website looks promising the second not so much.
Thanks for the info

Quick question for anyone that can answer.

When you post on this site and delete the post is there a copy stored or is it forever gone? Also if it is stored can be accessed my mods or theymos?

The reason i ask is i'm looking for information from one of my past deleted posts.
Thanks

Edit: I was kind of vague in my question. I mean a post that I deleted not a mod for spam or anything.
9  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: why 21 million? on: October 10, 2022, 02:17:46 AM

There is money supply replacement theory. In one of satoshi's email, he explained why he chose the supply cap. 21M is a rough number. The exact total supply of Bitcoin is 20999999.9769 BTC

Hi Mike,

I’m glad to answer any questions you have. If I get time, I ought to write a FAQ to supplement the paper.

There is only one global chain.

The existing Visa credit card network processes about 15 million Internet purchases per day worldwide. Bitcoin can already scale much larger than that with existing hardware for a fraction of the cost. It never really hits a scale ceiling. If you’re interested, I can go over the ways it would cope with extreme size.

By Moore’s Law, we can expect hardware speed to be 10 times faster in 5 years and 100 times faster in 10. Even if Bitcoin grows at crazy adoption rates, I think computer speeds will stay ahead of the number of transactions.

I don’t anticipate that fees will be needed anytime soon, but if it becomes too burdensome to run a node, it is possible to run a node that only processes transactions that include a transaction fee. The owner of the node would decide the minimum fee they’ll accept. Right now, such a node would get nothing, because nobody includes a fee, but if enough nodes did that, then users would get faster acceptance if they include a fee, or slower if they don’t. The fee the market would settle on should be minimal. If a node requires a higher fee, that node would be passing up all transactions with lower fees. It could do more volume and probably make more money by processing as many paying transactions as it can. The transition is not controlled by some human in charge of the system though, just individuals reacting on their own to market forces.

Eventually, most nodes may be run by specialists with multiple GPU cards. For now, it’s nice that anyone with a PC can play without worrying about what video card they have, and hopefully it’ll stay that way for a while. More computers are shipping with fairly decent GPUs these days, so maybe later we’ll transition to that.

A key aspect of Bitcoin is that the security of the network grows as the size of the network and the amount of value that needs to be protected grows. The down side is that it’s vulnerable at the beginning when it’s small, although the value that could be stolen should always be smaller than the amount of effort required to steal it. If someone has other motives to prove a point, they’ll just be proving a point I already concede.

My choice for the number of coins and distribution schedule was an educated guess. It was a difficult choice, because once the network is going it’s locked in and we’re stuck with it. I wanted to pick something that would make prices similar to existing currencies, but without knowing the future, that’s very hard. I ended up picking something in the middle. If Bitcoin remains a small niche, it’ll be worth less per unit than existing currencies. If you imagine it being used for some fraction of world commerce, then there’s only going to be 21 million coins for the whole world, so it would be worth much more per unit. Values are 64-bit integers with 8 decimal places, so 1 coin is represented internally as 100000000. There’s plenty of granularity if typical prices become small. For example, if 0.001 is worth 1 Euro, then it might be easier to change where the decimal point is displayed, so if you had 1 Bitcoin it’s now displayed as 1000, and 0.001 is displayed as 1.

Ripple is interesting in that it’s the only other system that does something with trust besides concentrate it into a central server.

Why is this Email dated Sun, Apr 12, 2022 at 10:44 PM  ?

12  Economy / Exchanges / Coinbase is absolute shit. on: June 18, 2022, 08:39:46 PM
I was using Bittrex and decided to jump over to Coinbase to give it a try.

What a mistake. Coinbase is so shitty and generic compared to Bittrex. Coinbase you have ZERO options in regard to buying at a set price or putting in your sell price at higher than the current price.

Bittrex for Example i can put in a BUY order for BTC when it hits $15K and just go about my business and once bought i can put that SELL order in for whatever price i want and walk away.

Coinbase you have 2 shitty options buy or sell right now at the price right now.

Why would anyone use this shitty generic welfare exchange? How is it still in business?

14  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Americans will burn in hell for eternity on: August 20, 2021, 02:49:09 AM
The people of the U.S. have struck a bargain with Satan where a special area in hell has been reserved just for them.

As they have achieved their end of the deal by committing more evil than any other peoples throughout history, the vast majority of Americans will enjoy a slightly cooler area in the fire-pit where they will burn eternally.

If the cowards of the Afghan army didn't drop their guns and run like a bunch of sissies this wouldn't be happening. They are more concerned with what color dress to wear tomorrow than protecting their country.

ALL COWARDS. Now they have to deal with the Taliban lol Fucking spineless losers.

A tip to secure a safe evacuation is to get a truckload of MALE goats and lure the Taliban away from the city. But this will draw ALL the male Afghans too. You would then safely be able to evacuate women and children. The only thing that would work better than a truckload of MALE goats is a truckload of little boys. We know these pigs love raping little boys.

16  Other / Meta / Frustrating search results. on: August 10, 2021, 04:19:33 PM
When you do a search on this Forum the results pop up and there is no order at all to it. I have to scroll down past Months/years old posts to find anything up to date.

Why is there no option to sort "Oldest to newest" or vice versa instead of scrolling through the madness?

Is there a way and i'm just missing it?
