I remember Mike saying something about the payment dates for the rentals being random from now on. So I'm not sure we can count on Feb 18th. Yep, he wanted to avoid people going selling their SYNC and then coming back just before the rental payout date and buying back in, so he made it random - any time between 1 to 90 days. The 90th day is Feb 18, so that is why I said that we should hear from him before Feb 18 is passed. It could be tomorrow - any day now, really. I'm guessing there won't be any payments this month, but I think we're due a statement from Mike on this thread imho. Maybe you should ask Mike himself, his tweets indicate that he apologized for not paying out because he got scammed while he was trying to create a revenue stream, whatever that may be. I had the impression that the sale of domains was the revenue stream, but it sounds like he lost during (futures?) trading on OKcoin, so this rental period the payout may be low or nothing. Don't wanna sound negative or anything but if we don't get any news from Mike soon I would start preparing for the worst...
Let's give SYNC another 2 weeks, then the 90 day period of rental program ends... Mike has been good for us so far so he might actually come up with something great again
It's not like SYNC needs something else... It's pretty great at it is. Obviously news are always welcome, but I'd just like to hear from Mike saying what's up with the silence. |

He started it, defined the rental concept so I expect him to show up here in due time and pay the rent he promised or he gets known as someone who can't be trusted. I can't speak for him, but I myself would not like to get such a name and possibly appear in small claims court. I got over 9 SYNC staking myself, so both of us can expect a healthy cut of the last sold domain name. But why don't you ask himself? You know his twitter address. I'd say a bit hard to get a reply out of him these days on twitter. At least I tweeted at him a couple of times last week and I'm still waiting. |

Hi everyone, (former) graphic designer for Vocal here.
Haven't been able to contact Skele in the last few days.
The website has been offline for a couple days that I've noticed and it seems to me like Vocal has come to an end, unfortunately.
I had really high hopes for this project, although I knew Skele was having a really hard time trying to make it happen with the small funding that Vocal got.
Regardless, it appears that he's vanished and we all know what that means.
So, I'll take the opportunity to officially excuse myself from the Vocal team and this project.

The team as a whole decided we should do something different and more outgoing to ensure our current and potential investors of what we're doing and of who we are.
Given the current situation of our scam riddled crypto scene, we think the Public PoD will bring a lot more transparency and hopefully, others will follow doing the same or even improving on it.

It's understandable. People are frustrated for losing money this way. Everyone just needs to be mindful that these scams are (unfortunately) pretty common nowadays and there's no entity that will protect you from them. So think before you decide where to throw your money. |
