The more expensive Ethereum is, the more expensive are the transaction fees in dollar terms. Expensive gas is indeed a problem and will certainly scare off a lot of newbies. High gas costs will always be a problem, especially for small traders, they should think twice about making a transaction there. In my opinion, It's a big problem that Ethereum developers need to solve right away, If the developer doesn't act immediately, traders will look for other alternatives to make transactions. its not about trading on exchanges, but like the example i gave before about Gods Unchained game, if i want buy a card that cost 0.000001 eth , i pay gas around 0.025 eth ... not doable .. but we will see where this will end , the noices about eth2.0 will bring a solution for this , but then when will this come ? since 2018 / 19 i am waiting for it ... |

Did you read the provided links? yes i did read it , but probably to technical for me , still not understand the benefit of making a waves and erc-20 token ... and i checked indeed the uniswap thing and after putting the right adress ( 0x1cF4592ebfFd730c7dc92c1bdFFDfc3B9EfCf29a ) you can trade at uniswap, but then you pay high fees ... like you pay 2 waves for making a erc-20 and trading cost you also eth-gas, so dont see the benefit ( or i am really a noob that i dont understand this) but for me the biggest mistery is the price , why is this still so cheap , the developments at waves is continue, they adding this and that , brining this person or that person .. the wallet has his own trading exchange , without KYC ... why is this coin not 10x what it is now ?? |
