21  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 21, 2018, 03:07:09 PM
I have started to calm down. Took a position at $4260 and feel good about that. No doubt price could fall lower, but my feel is that even if it does it will not be significant. At the very least the rebound time should not be as long as some people were dreading imo. Feels good getting some bargain sale coins. A lot of weakness in the market has been shaken out which is invigorating.

This is one hard decision point. When do I put down the last of my coin investment fiat that I have waiting. This seems like such an easy moment to profit. It is obscene. Anyone who has been here since the start knows this as well. What moron really believes the coin is worth long term this price or less? I call this guaranteed earnings on ever dollar of coin I buy. Though I am greedy and want to wait for the best moment to go all in  Huh

I'm almost afraid to ask, but is Bitcoin over?
Is the answer to your question blow me? I say that lovingly of course

OT: https://www.cnbc.com/2018/09/17/amazon-planning-8-new-alexa-devices-microwave-amplifier.html

This is getting hilariously stupid. They literally want you to have devices crammed in every orifice of your life so they can monitor and spy on you.... everywhere.

Talk about a Trojan horse.  Roll Eyes
We are your Corporate Overlords. Lower your shields and surrender your ships. We will add your biological and technological distinctiveness to our own. Your culture will adapt to service us. Resistance is futile.

Damn young people with their social media and constant instant gratification (says the young person). Y'all need to learn patience!! The coin may drop it may rise. Eventually it will once again break the ath. There is no point flipping out  over the possibility of breaking through the support barrier when that concern is short sighted. Bitcoin is not dead. It's growth and rate of world wide acceptance make it an inevitability. I am fed up with hearing all the whining about the future of Bitcoin. Even if we managed to crash down to some insanely low number for now who cares?

Have I missed some major piece of news or is this more of that manipulation fuckery the voices in my head always speak of?

I have a large position, but for some reason am not worried about this? Have I gone numb? Have I actually learned something finally?!
Happy day!

...now I once again hear that nagging evil feeling that I should sell and take profit and stop being such a greedy bastard...

There's nothing wrong with taking profit. Just why do it in fiat? Keeping your profits in Bitcoin makes more sense.

Sure, by all means live a little,  buy yourself a treat or toy or something, but keep the bulk pf your profits where they'll continue to earn money.
Words to live by

Good morning Bitcoinland.

Nice to be back over $7k... currently $7087USD/$9150CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

Dog days almost over?

I'm new here. Why does this thread have 21,000 pages? All I see is random charts and pictures of cute animals.

Because:

This thread is the spice of Bitcointalk.
Almost 5 years in this thread for me. Are you trying to claim there are parts outside of bitcointalk then this thread??

EDIT: Holy shit. Who knew?!?!

Back at that beautiful place of having no fucking clue what to do. Not to say I am unhappy. As per usual sitting with a more then advisabley large position for what I have saved, but I have been holding like a good little boy and it damn sure has paid off.

The slow walk up to break 7k makes me feel good, but now I once again hear that nagging evil feeling that I should sell and take profit and stop being such a greedy bastard. Problem is I believe too much and sometimes that gets in the way of making good decisions. It's one of those things I suppose. Even if I hold and it dips back who cares? I can wait for however long and it will return to a higher price so no one will stop me from profiting dammit!!

What's the outlook short term in your opinion gents?

I remember on this forum when we used to welcome newbies to the forum and ask them to let us know if they have any questions. They'd say "thanks, still reading but will take you up on that if I do".

Now you see a newbie and think..."shit, signature campaigner trying to get his post count up. Shut up n00b."
I personally assume government shill trying to destroy bitcoin in some underhanded way when I see a new account. I guess Lamby still gives me nightmares  Cry

Anyone crying right now should be banned from talking about crypto when we are above the ath next year.

Pro tip, never listen to anyone who doesn't fully understand bitcoin talk about it. Sounds obvious, but so many around here forget this so damn often.

Praying for a crash so I can buy in good. Keep going down please!

Just noticed you are on a mac. You might try to google crossover for mac. Its a simple software that lets you use pc applications, i used to use this alot when i was playing poker on a mac. Should be a free trial on there.
Unfortunately with this the SWC application is unable to connect to the internet so no dice
