23  Local / Servisler / BTCTurk'te önemli hata veya stop loss hunting ihtimali on: July 01, 2020, 08:03:25 AM
Selamlar,

I have a very old account, but 2 days ago I received a "verification" email and it seems like a legit freebitco mail, is this a glitch, or did you reset verifications? I refrained from clicking it just in case...

Very good miner. One problem I have is that sometimes one gpu goes dead, and if I employ a watchdog script to restart Windows, it hangs in "shutting down" blue page 90% of the time. This happens only when a gpu is actually dead and not in watchdog test runs. Even tried adding a Devcon restart of all GPU's from the driver in case it is able to get past the problem. When the gpu is dead, the miner cannot end that specific gpu's threads. Interestingly, manual restart when seeing a dead gpu works without problems.

Anything profitable for Rx580's? 0.13 usd per KW electricity here.
27  Economy / Service Announcements / UI suggestion on: October 15, 2019, 06:12:11 PM
I have a small suggestion: To better get an idea about order book depth, you have green bars to visualise how much orders are present on a price, but it's completely useless on the sell side because some people park their funds at outlandish prices (e.g. 10 doge at a price of 1BTC each) and it ruins the entire sell book green bars by supressing their size. You can either use log scale, or maybe flatten the end of orderbooks that is t.g. >10sd of median orderbook price.)
This way the sell side green bars will give much better sense of order structure. If you don't fix it, you can remove it altogether as it's useless in its current state.

I'm trying to withdraw the 250 dogecoins (WOW) I had at the site, it's been pending for 24 hours. Is this an automated process that's slowed down by people trying to withdraw or is there a manual review process??

30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SRBMiner Cryptonight AMD GPU Miner V1.9.3 - native algo switching on: July 29, 2019, 06:56:10 AM
Since then ? I know there is some issue with this when windows changes time (pulls from NTP or user changes clock) - this happens rarely, but other than it should work fine. I will check it.
This thing is for sure, SRB says "1" minute regardless of what setting it is, it may think more / less minutes have passed if there was a clock change (my clock seems fine though), but it specifically says 1 minute still.

Have you tried with 1 's' (--maxnosharesent , not --maxnosharessent like you wrote). Also it's not set in minutes, you set it in seconds.

Ah, I had the option name correct in the command line, but I had no idea it was in seconds!
Code:
--maxnosharesent value (if no share is sent to the pool for x time, restarts miner. def. is 30 min)

Could be changed to:
Code:
--maxnosharesent value (if no share is sent to the pool for x seconds, restarts miner. def. is 1800 seconds (30 min))

Thanks Dok.

Theres a notice on the first page and in the readme that all parameters that take a time value are in seconds Smiley

Lol, sure, but as you might have realized from the many questions posed here, that's not how an averagely dumb brain works Cheesy . I personally skim for the part I need, that's how I probably missed that one. Still, it's good to be explicit Cheesy

I think there's a bug with --maxnosharessent , Whether I set it to 5 or 10, it resets miner after only 1 minutes (and it says 1 minute in the log, not the 5 or 10 I'm setting..). Anybody else have a similar problem?
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SRBMiner Cryptonight AMD GPU Miner V1.9.3 - native algo switching on: July 24, 2019, 11:54:39 AM
OverdriveNTool fan control does not seem to work with the new AMD drivers, any workarounds?
Edit: Trying the Latest OverdriverNTool now, I guess there's hope. I wish SRB supports native gpu freq/voltage/fan control in future! When new algo madness resolves itself, may dok can lean on that.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SRBMiner Cryptonight AMD GPU Miner V1.9.3 - native algo switching on: July 23, 2019, 04:43:32 PM
Appreciate all the effort going into this, dok. I'm sure the 5700 drivers aren't helping matters at all yet.

wow.. i will stop doing blind fixes until i get a card.. just time wasting.
when i do an offline compile on amd driver v19.7.1 for gfx1010 it all goes smooth. So i really don't understand why it won't work on a 'live' card.

Really nice driver, this one is also reporting the number of CU's wrong  Cool

Thanks for reporting Smiley

For 5700, AMD may be intentionally making miner use worse. PhoenixMiner is having problems creating an optimized eth miner for it for this reason.

Does SRB Miner work good for rx580's with the latest drivers? For example does fan control work etc?
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PhoenixMiner 4.2c: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Win/Linux) on: July 01, 2019, 10:28:43 PM
Your miner is shocking, it is brilliant for power & speed but a couple of times I have stopped the miner due to mining on your address for over 3 hours, everyone do NOT use this miner it mines for the DEV for hours at a time. total sham.

You don't need to quote the entire original post to talk here.

I have been mining on and off for a total of 2-3 months with phoenixminer, and this never happened. Probably, you have not configured the pools properly and it falls back to dev pools in the config files.
37  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Crex24.com - Cryptocurrency Exchange [Official Thread] (Fiat deposit/withdrawal) on: June 15, 2019, 05:12:41 PM
I'm planning to make a very simple spread bot, now I see in the API documentation that bots can initiate withdrawals. For the sake of security, can the bots withdraw only to addresses in account's address book?
Edit: I see there are tiers with increasing privileges so that's really nice. Although my question still stands, is the api withdrawal fully automated or do they require email confirmation?

`... can the bots withdraw only to addresses in account's address book?`
Currently, there is no such functional. But we'll think about it.

There is no need to confirm withdrawals if you use trading API. Buy it is possible to disable withdrawals for API-key - R4 access right.

Yes, such functionality would be nice. At least add ip restriction please

Address based restriction should be quite easy to add with no extra parts in the front-end. Restrictionless API could be level R5, would be quite nice indeed! Of course losing the security of a Tradebot is already devastating through malicious trades being made against you but at least it's slightly better than having your funds withdrawn, and also any malicious on-site activity could be investigated (who bought what etc.) in the worst case scenario.

Extra question: What is the situation with Soldo? When do you think it will be back for deposit / withdrawal??

We are in June already, don't you guys have some extra info to give us about the new version?  Huh  Grin
With Golden ticket contest and Betting added to Freebitco.in, I completely forgot that they planned to launch new version of website crypteer.com with new stuff added to it. But if there would be some news about it, I'm sure that TheQuin would post that information here.

The plans change nearly every day  Wink

Today's plan is to add altcoin deposits which we'll automatically convert to Bitcoin and add to your balance. We've got a list of things we want to do that's very long so we're just introducing them one by one at the moment rather than trying to get it all done and a relaunch.

Altcoin deposit sounds awesome. BTC network fees were pushing small betters away, those who want to just put 10-20k sats and roll. If you do fair pricing, the site could also be the best unofficial altcoin to BTC exchange as the BTC withdrawal fees are so low even at the worst times.

A small note that with all the new variety, the number of emails I received greatly increased. Maybe consolidating major news into fewer emails for those who want could be nice.

I think Swap will be going places. It's one of the coins that I have a lot of sympathy for, because I've seen its birth and the fairness of it. Current prices are not reflective of its qualities.
