1  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you still believe in btc price predictions? on: August 24, 2018, 07:54:57 AM
from the beginning I never believed in such predictions. early in the year many predicted that the price of bitcoin would be very high in 2018, but now they are all silent.
The predictions are only taken from their desires. They wish they had a lot of profit so they expect prices to rise, so most of the positive predictions about the market in 2018. And the real situation goes against those predictions. I do not believe that bitcoin prices in 2018 could go up, only to go down and go down in the long time
That is very natural that when we always have good expectation about where we have some interest. Same is the case here but from the surrounding fact we can also come to the conclusion and its look like too much sure that bitcoin price is expected to increase too much in near future.
2  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin breaking $20,000 again? on: August 24, 2018, 07:23:23 AM
We all have seen how bitcoin crossed $20,000 in December . When do you think this will happen again?

Highly possible, bitcoin is on the move of growth and soon will restore its worth back, i really believe in that.

Whether bitcoin will soon grow, unfortunately we do not know. There is no proof and there is no indication. If the atmosphere around the cryptocurrency does not improve, there is no reason to expect strong price increases.
I think that we have a very solid proof about it and that is that bitcoin is becoming popular form day to day, bitcoin investors and users are now available everywhere in the world and even people joining bitcoin for so many purposes, and the main purpose is to invest some money in bitcoin and get some profit from it.
3  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will you stay in crypto if BTC does not recover? on: August 24, 2018, 06:51:09 AM
Why not? bitcoin is a long term investment, i do not see any reason to do not hold it anymore, the p rices are down but this is just another time to keep accumulating

Bitcoin is too good for long term investment. Those people who are holding bitcoin for last few years I am sure that if they will continue to hold bitcoin for some more time it will surely give them a very good profit.
4  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bearish again? (Back at $5500) on: August 21, 2018, 11:13:52 AM
I believe we already touched the bottom of this bear market, there is too much support around the $6k levels for it too reach a new low for the year.  There is still a lot of negativity lingering because of the dip from the $20k peak.  I do believe the next bull run will start very soon and there is no reason we can't reach a new all time high by the end of this year.
Yes that is a fact that we have already touched the bottom, but people still reluctant to do investment in bitcoin because of the negative news that are wondering in the market. Hope very soon people will overcome their fear and will start investment in bitcoin which is surely give a good boost to bitcoin price.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LTC will hit 500++ on july 15 2019 on: August 21, 2018, 10:34:43 AM
halving is in august 2019, here is the explanation what that means: https://cryptomining-blog.com/tag/litecoin-halving/

i checked the price in 2015 a month before halving, it went x7, and it stablize x2 before halving date.

so lets say it will be 110 x 5 not x7= 550 usd, then it will stablize at 220.

This is estimated price. I personally think it will hit 680 on july 15.

your thoughts?
Tired of speculations but nothing works for now, since the prices of crypto currencies were digging the ground after every small recovery and the coins other than bitcoin falling more.

On the other hand anything can be possible here so it may hit $500 in the next year but at that time bitcoin may reach very higher value or it won't be possible since the movement of bitcoin prices highly influencing other cryptos as well.
It easy to say it, but from the current situation it does not look like that bitcoin price will dump so much. People even not letting the bitcoin price to break the 6000$ therefore to me I think it is not so easy that bitcoin price will come back to that level.
6  Economy / Speculation / Re: Time to buy more and HODL!!! on: August 21, 2018, 10:04:21 AM
Over some months now BTC has seen so much decrease in its price and nonetheless its still the greatest coin of all time. I have seen people selling in escrow markets with high amounts of btc and I see them as people who are selling because they fear btc will drop down to the dip. As for me I always say that I will take advantage of this time by buying as much as I can and laugh later. I think this is the right time to for us to buy. What do you think guys? Any contribution is also accepted.

I am totally agree with your point of view. Even me will do this because it is one of our strategy as a Bitcoiners always take a risk in the market price of bitcoin. As always say when it comes to this topic. Buy bitcoin as long as the price of it is in the lower price and sell it when the price is increasingly. This is a great way for us to earn a big amount.
Only those people can get profit from bitcoin who have the courage to take the risk. For example if you afraid to invest money in bitcoin even in such a low price then how can you get profit from bitcoin investment. If you want to make some money you must take some risk of investing your money.
7  Economy / Speculation / Re: Big pop up again on: August 21, 2018, 09:24:46 AM
This is what Wall Street call "price discovery". Its the point where they cant suppress the price any longer.

But the issue remains: will it go up from there? Will this bottom go up? Or will the price keeps swinging over it?

We’ve been here so many times this year, and seeing the previous price movement, always a bounce back after hitting this level. Maybe the theory of the OP is right since the support level are strong between the price range of $5k-$6k where buyers and sellers agreed the bottom price. No one can answer your question but as an optimist hodler, Maybe we see a new bottom but I know it will to rise again.

IMO institutional investors have buys just under the $6000 mark. Which is why it's holding above that level. What is missing is retail investors - they've been scared away by the price drop from $20,000 plus all the drama with fees at the end of last year.
We need some big investors in current time, which can give some boost to bitcoin price. Once the bitcoin price will start increasing then the retailer will also get some confident and will hopefully start buying bitcoin, which is in fact too much important for the bitcoin price.
8  Economy / Economics / Re: Which one do you prefer?Increase your Bitcoin or ِDollar? on: August 21, 2018, 08:07:12 AM
In Trading, there are two categories of people, those who want to increase their bitcoin volume, and those who want to increase their dollar volume. Which one do you prefer? Why?

well to me i would value those to increase there bitcoin volume because bitcoin is not fixed the prices can increase anytime any day but dollar it's price doesn't change in time and there will be no benefits in trading with dollar as the case may be.
That depends on your strategy. I believe when there is downfall for price of bitcoin, there are more chances for the trader to buy more bitcoin. Profit always comes into your account when you buy low and sell high. If the buying rates comes down and you have already saved some investment, you must hold the current one and start buying more bitcoin. This will increase your profit rate.
Bitcoin is free for all and can never effect on economy bitcoin cannot control increasing bit coin price can give us profit where increasing dollars can effect on economy and increase the price.
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many hours a day are you spending on online gambling? on: August 17, 2018, 12:38:48 PM
I play online gambling in less than 1 hour because I don't have free time every day, so I decide not to play gambling for a long time. besides that, if I am playing gambling for a long time, it can make me become an addicting person, and I can spend more money. I don't know about the other, but I feel that if I am playing gambling for more than 1 hour, I am feeling not right and I need to get out of the site.
I think that it is not too much difficult to find time for playing online gambling, you can play online gambling even if you are in your office. I can see a lot of people who are regularly play online gambling while they are in their offices, during their duty time.
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Whats your favorite game? on: August 17, 2018, 12:03:26 PM
I play poker, and very often I win and sometimes I play roulette.
That is really a very big amount you lost in dice. I even cannot think about it. I think that it is too much important that should make a limit for your dice gambling because there is no end in dice gambling and will continue until you will lose everything you have.
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ever stopped or removed from casino on: August 17, 2018, 11:33:30 AM
I've seen some drunk customers removed before at a casino.  It caused quite a scene and these 2 guys wouldn't stop talking trash to everyone and constantly swearing.  I do most of my gambling online anyways so it's not like this is a frequent occurence for me.

In the old days if you misbehaved or were caught cheating they took you to the back room to "teach you a lesson".

Oh yeah, mostly, its foreigners who played and get drunk and created a scene. Casino's security step up and to tossed the two. They are swearing on everyone who looks at them and there are some locals who wanted to smack those guys. hahaha. Security and the Police step in and I don't know what would happen if those 2 keeps on bad mouthing everyone there in the casino.

But on the other hand, I saw one foreigners who got drunk and play on a roullete and he is very lucky that they and he has is very willing to give some of this winnings. Grin
I never faced such kind of situation, I mostly visit a casino when I am in full sense, I do not know why people mostly come to casino while they are drunk where they can only create problems for other people, I think we should only visit a casino when we are in full sense.
12  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Statistics about Bitcoin Gambling? on: August 17, 2018, 11:04:32 AM
Are there any statistics on how gambling with Bitcoin (and crypto generally) develops? I would be interested if it increases or decreases. From time to time there are articles on media like Coindesk but I'm not sure if you can believe the data.

I imagine that gambling with bitcoin as opposed to fiat currency is more risky because the proxy of a 'digital currency' doesn't hold the same mental weight value. That was the case for me anyway, because I could justify that I was only losing 'magical internet coins' instead of real money. Unfortunately, this all happened back in 2014, so my magical internet money would eventually be worth over 100x paper money.

Yes, the use of digital currency as gambling is very risky especially when there is a great chance that in a couple of years time you'd just lost a fortune.
but if a digital currency is used not from a personal pocket, in the sense that digital currency is dead money obtained from the profits from other activities, I think it's only natural that we do gambling using bitcoin because we don't feel loss because of the money we use to gamble is the result of the profits that we have earned and not taken out of our personal pockets
No it is not so. I think that most of the people are playing gambling only because they feel it more comfortable to play it only , in fact they do not need to visit a casino. For that they mostly converting their money from fiat to bitcoin to play gambling with.
13  Economy / Economics / Re: Does engaging with bitcoins put you at risk? on: August 17, 2018, 09:54:48 AM
We, as physically and intellectually healthy individuals, strive and survive to achieve our dreams, establish our roles in the society and fulfill our needs and wants. But in order to do this, we are also required to be financially healthy. The lingering fact is that money is not achievable as a single candy you can buy in the store. Sometimes, people risk their lives and reputation just to get a handful. Bitcoins are not officially a currency that you can just see in a certain country, that are being utilized and used. So, is dealing with bitcoins and other things related to it also puts us in a risky gamble?
to be honest, being involved with bitcoin makes yourself at risk for the hope of improving economics and betting on the market and hoping to benefit,
but if you choose to engage with bitcoin by working online and being paid with bitcoin this is profitable and not risky,
As advised many a times, never put your hard earned money in crytpo which you cant afford to lose. Bitcoin industry is very much volatile and in a volatile market there are chances of both profit & loss.
14  Economy / Economics / Re: Why spend time in bitcoins? on: August 04, 2018, 07:28:49 AM
There was so much that you can do with bitcoin. You can establish an online store where you can accept not only local customers but customers outside your country and get easily paid with bitcoin. So is bitcoin worth that much? I would say certainly. What matters is the planning that you have to do in order to earn so much using it.
As said "time is money" . If we can define the goals and targets and work with dedications, we can achieve very good profits in bitcoins. Many of my friends are involved in bitcoin and getting handsome money.
15  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Bitcoin become a long-term trusted store of value? on: August 04, 2018, 06:56:20 AM

If it does become a long-term trusted store of value, BTC should trade around $2,000,000 a coin (depending on how many coins are lost and are actually in circulation). That is over 100x the price of where BTC is today.

Where do you get this figure from?

Bitcoin has the basic characteristics of a store of value, the main one being a limited supply. It will need to have some utility for it to be trusted as a store of value so it must succeed in some form as a currency.

It could be a store of value if it wasn't subject to futures contracts and that's capacity to make money betting against bitcoin without even buying.

Why does it need to have utility apart from its capacity to move wealth easily avoiding bank charges.  If by utility it needs to be easy to buy a cup of coffee with it I disagree.  Although it's egalitarian in nature, avoiding brokers, it isn't simple and it relies on faith.  Faith that their money won't just go poof or that its value won't drop like a blimp with a hole where the naysayers are sucking out value making money betting against.
It is not going to happen, future contacts are being used precisely to keep the price of bitcoin down in a very similar way in which future contracts are being used to keep down the price of gold and silver, the big advantage that we have over those markets is that many prefer future contracts for gold and silver since moving so much gold and silver is a problem but with bitcoin this is not the case, since we can move a huge mount of bitcoin to the other side of the world without any effort.

Yeah, like that case where the major investment bankers were all in a chat trying to plan what time of day they'd smash down the price of gold. They'd coordinate the selling of millions of dollars worth of contracts all at once just to set the avalanche down.

Gold bugs speculate that the actual price per ounce in the 10's of thousands but the futures contracts, which a bank can write freely without having any physical gold, keep the price capped around 1 thousand. They have a point--if there weren't so many shorts, the price of physical gold would be much higher. The same could very well happen with bitcoin (and already is as forex platforms allow CFD's)
It is hard to say anything regarding the nature of the bitcoin and that way it will behave in the future. Things are getting in a better shape and that there are likely chances that bitcoin will favour the most to the ones who are trusting the bitcoin and that they are holding it for longer time. The market worth of bitcoin will rise higher and that it will help the investors in making higher profit.
I think if you compare banks profit with crypto you'll see bitcoin lead banks profit from my point of view bitcoins gives you profit every day and every moment while banks take some time like months and gives you low profit plus holding bitcoin can increase your profit more. Bitcoin is a great source of long term invest and store value.
16  Economy / Economics / Re: Why everyone only invest in the crypto market? on: August 04, 2018, 06:25:36 AM
Hello everyone!

I am talking to quite a few people who are investing in crypto and notice that very few have a broader investment spectrum. People either focus on ICOs, some small caps, others play it safe and stick with the high caps or established projects.

But hold on, is the later really playing save? In my view, even with high caps you will still be massively exposed as you have all of your eggs in one basket. Namely in the same market. Different eggs in size and colour but all eggs. If the basket falls, your eggs still get crushed.

As mentioned before, I am trading stocks for over a decade and crypto since last year. I also agree that is easier to trade stocks, simply because the volume is so high that a few whales or big investors cannot influence the market as easily by dumping their shares. The stock market is also much more regulated, if someone is being caught doing washtrading or spoofing the consequences are dramatic. In the crypto world manipulation is something that poses a constant threat. Just look at the market now, the recent dip is not tight to any event, news or even fud. 25 billion just disappeared and people are wondering wht‘s going on.

Long story short, it‘s great you have a diversification plan but also think about moving assets from crypto to fiat, stocks or raw materials and precious metals.

What is your view on that?

Bitcoin is a great source of income and for your future purpose we can use them for long term without any worries. Its work more better than any banks.I know there's some disadvantages to but we have to ignore them and focus on crypto currencies.
17  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing in Bitcoin? Advantages and Disadvantages on: August 04, 2018, 05:41:45 AM
Bitcoin is good because it is a non-correlated asset, which in many respects is similar to gold. However, the first crypto currency has a number of advantages over this precious metal. In particular, bitcoin is much more transportable and better serves as a means of exchange. However, while bitcoin has not become an effective payment system or a viable

Bitcoin has many advantages given to many investor, it has incredibly low transaction fees , in fact sometimes they are even free.Another major plus is the fact that you control it. In your wallet your Bitcoin is untouchable by Governments or banks. For example the Cyprus raid on banks could not take place if you held your cash as Bitcoin. Yet Bitcoin also have its disadvantages where in  it is not widely accepted nationwide. Wallet can be lost and sad to say their is nothing we can do to recover it, because as what I say government has no control to bitcoin.
I personally cannot see any disadvantage of bitcoin. but bitcoin has so many advantages. I think that the big advantage of bitcoin is that bitcoin is a universal currency and we can use it in any corner of the world. Bitcoin will very soon be available in all over the world and it will facilitate us to use it for everything for which we are currently using fiat currency.
The disadvantage is its volatile it can be drop at any time plus i a lots of scammers are here with fake ICO companies we should not believe and simply invest on them. I am happy to chose bitcoins its double my money and gives me huge profit.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What you do when someone say bitcoin is illegal thing? on: August 04, 2018, 05:10:31 AM
I will respect their decisions if thats their point of view to bitcoin, but i would only try to explain what bitcoin helps anyone who get involves with bitcoin also, and how many of our mates do their testimony that through this bitcoin their life i Mu h better rhan before.
But i think we should explain about bitcoin in detail, because these type of people need explanation. Usually these people said about bitcoin illegal thing because they have lack of information about bitcoin, if we give them detail then may be they will understand it.
19  Economy / Economics / Re: What profit has brought you to bitcoin? on: July 23, 2018, 12:13:47 PM
Wow, what a subject you brought up. Personally, I got acquainted with bitcoin not so long ago, as apparently you. I learned in 2011.  unfortunately I didn't know how to mine it. for me it was quite difficult. Where to buy bitcoin was also difficult for me to understand. I've been watching this happen for years. And only in 2016-2017 I earned the first bitcoins by placing an advertising code on my website.
I am starting with my savings which is my hard earned money for which I am planning to find a perfect place for investment and to handle it according to the market rules and guiding principles. I have studied and experienced the market and now want to bring it in practical to make profit in the crypto market but I am going to start with less amount in the beginning because it is my first practical work.
i started with bounty, and from bounty, i can trade and invest. each get a reward always i set it aside to invest, although now prices fall, but the calculation of income remains positive, so i calmly run it

Me too, I started from bounty too and already earned some good profit from it, now I am much more with the free airdrops and hoping to get more profit from good coins that will have potentials to have a good price.
Bounty profit is good no doubt, but I think it is a limited income, it is only good for those people who do not have enough money for trading, they can at least earn some money from bounties campaigns, but I think I a person want some instant income then he should do arrangement for money and should invest money in bitcoin or to start trading.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lets be careful on what we are investing on: July 23, 2018, 11:13:30 AM
The market is a lot of scams. Please select filter information for your own.
Yeah you are right that there are many scams in the market, therefore one should observe the project carefully and then invest in it. I suggest that one should invest only in exchange coins which have credibility in the market. Anonymous coin may destroy your investment. It is important to know where we are investing and what would be future of it.

People always there whose job is only to scam people, if you are going to invest your money in a crypto currency you need to be too much careful, because there are so many scam ICOs and currencies whose aim is only to get money from the people. You need to study the coin first and after that should take a decision.
