Greetings everyone, Golfcoin is very much still ongoing and on the cusp of being introduced into the golf industry via existing businesses, we hope to enlist acceptance by Golf Clubs and Courses worldwide during Q4 2014 and Q1 2015 with presentations across the UK initially. Our reseller program will also be available to Golfcoin members on the launch of our new web app/site.

Over the last few months we've been working on the Golfcoin infrastructure which has now moved to a hybrid virtual currency utilising the desktop wallet and web wallet infrastructure. Really sorry to spoil the party, Bankcoin is not backed by actual physical gold as it may indicate by the press release, it is based on mined amounts of GoldBars (GBS) and speculative future values.

I really didn't want to have to write here but I thought it was the right thing to do. There hasn't been any support, endorsement or knowledge of this by GoldBars (GBS) and I must apologise.

GoldBars (GBS) is part of a new wealth strategy (you can find out more at http://www.twitter.com/virtualores) which "hopes" that one day GoldBars (GBS) will be endorsed, regulated and approved by international financial organisations and world organisations to solve poverty, it is always made clear that GoldBars is not Gold, and it has zero value unless otherwise specified, underwritten, or regulated. Additionally it make take months if not years of communication, legal disputes, agreements and regulation before it is accepted or has any intrinsic capital value.

The team behind Bankcoin, to my knowledge, does hold around 300,000 bars which would enable them to use GoldBars as a future way of backing Bankcoin (but it must be noted that we do not know what weight, and therefore value, if any, will be given to GoldBars (GBS) in the future, so everything must be speculative in that regard).

Feel free to invest in Bankcoin, of course if GoldBars (GBS) does in the future have any value they may be worth something, or alternatively it may catch on as a coin on it's own merits.

Personally I think Bankcoin would have a great future without the GoldBars element, if Banks wanted to accept a single currency for internal and external transactions without calculating exchange rates etc then Bankcoin is a very very good concept. Hello to everyone.

The Infinite Wealth Strategy
As of yesterday as the lead developer, and chair of the not for profit organisation CCI, which has permission to deliver GoldBars, we have made formal contact with the United Nations requesting support for our work. Previously we have made contact with the International Red Cross and are awaiting a formal response, again we hope of support.

The reason for this is that GoldBars GBS is also referred to as Virtual Gold (or vGold) and is designed to power an entirely new virtual economy based on resources and commodities (such as gold) locked in other planets, stars and space matter. Essentially vGold (GoldBars GBS) is a conduit for the international community to borrow wealth against Gold deposits on Mars or other neighbouring planet, to do a number of important things;

1) to fund and pay for the colonisation and off world prospecting/mining of Mars (and or neighbouring planets)
2) to establish a new economy of resources for the planet of Mars to create new wealth and interplanetary trade
3) to fund directly humanitarian aid, conservation, remove poverty, tackle world debt, fund the improvement of life in all social classes
4) to inject capital against off world deposits into cryptocurrencies to introduce liquidity into the international fiscal system

How Will It Work
Simply we are not creating cryptocurrencies, they are called Crypto Ores (or Virtual Ores) and are used as conduits to establish a new virtual economy (separate from an existing economy for monitoring, tracking and scalability). Some capital wealth (which is 100% new wealth) will be injected into cryptocurrencies (e.g. Earthcoin, Worldcoin etc that want to be a part of our strategy rather than rely on the markets to create value).

Virtual Gold (GoldBars GBS) will be linked directly to existing Gold market value (estimated at $500,000 per bar) to remove any potential for market manipulation and create the conduit for new wealth from other planets and stars. Once established this will provide application based funding for world projects, but at the same time inject capital into cryptocurrencies.

How Much New Wealth Will It Create

We have earmarked a creation of 480 million bars in total of GoldBars (240 million vaulted / locked for injection into cryptocurrencies and funding projects), the remaining 240 million were earmarked for direct mining by the public. The beauty of this is that the coins are already mined and in circulation, with this strategy each coin would be a fixed value BUT would fluctuate up and down with the price of gold so it still presents trading options PLUS because the values are fixed, stable and linked to current markets Banks and Governments should have no problem (in association with the World Bank) guaranteeing cryptocurrency values.

Bitcoin has huge potential obstacles in its path, is unstable by value, is taking far too long to be adopted and is never going to create the VAULTED WEALTH necessary to tackle huge human projects and goals such as conservation. Crowdfunding provides little yield in comparison to charitable aid, its just not going to work. Although with a fixed price of $40,000 each Bitcoin becomes one of a number of potential conduits for introducing new wealth to society.

But GoldBars Isnt Synching, Its a Coingen, I Cant Mine It

GoldBars daemon is installed and running, granted with intermittent issues.
We have deliberately left it as a Coingen to avoid being placed on exchanges and devaluing our invention, it is a completely separate entity and powers a whole new market backed by real resources locked in other planets and working legally with the Outer Space Treaty 1967.
We have recently changed from a MPOS to NOMP pool, the transition has been successful, however experiencing a few issues at present.

To date we know that around 3 million bars have been mined, of which around 500,000 - 600,000 were premined to fund the CCI trust's work indefinitely. We are unsure of the future availability of mining GoldBars as it would only be appropriate for small amounts to be available for mining (and again something which is likely to be regulated in the future). So those lucky enough to have some GoldBars, it may be worth quite a bit in the future*

*Subject to acceptance of the United Nations, International Community, and successful implementation of Virtual Gold and the Virtual Commodities Market.

What's Next

We are working on getting our strategy accepted with the United Nations, and seeking to establish protection of our intellectual property and creation. Once we have protection and support we will be fundraising existing wealth (or using part of the premine as a loan until established so that we can employ a significant team to get this strategy moving). I just wanted also to add a quick note about the Coingen issue.

We previously had problems with the dev creating our coin, the daemon was failing to compile and connect so it was decided to create the coingen coin first to ensure our coins were created and then once on the exchanges we would look to get a developer on board to help with the issues and create the fully fledged coins.

Given that Coingens are a safe and pertinent way to ensure intellectual property and coin creation are date timestamped it seemed the best course of action.

We have a number of people who can collaborate our creation, but more importantly that coingen is a copy of Bitcoin and Litecoin - all coins are based around this code whether its a gen or developer. The proof should be in the long term development and the principal of the coins.

Coin was incorrectly launched, the premine was supposed to be 1% but ended up an estimated 90% - dont ask! The coin was config'd wrong so the block halving was quicker than intended but I dont really want to have to launch it again so its just going to stay as is. Proportionately there will be millions given away to use - im sure it will all appeal to golfers.

On the plus side we will be launching golfcoin lite (scrypt or scrypt jane) with no or minimal premine in support of the SHA256 golfcoin later this year so hope that will be of more interest. That way anyone who has, trades or mines golfcoins may have the opportunity to transfer to golfcoin lite or have a second mining opportunity. We are heavily behind the development and use of this coin for discounts, rewards and real world transactions in the golf industry.

1) all calcs are estimates at the time of information delivery
2) 2% of all premine is not reserved for any personal or team gain but purely as reserves for the purchase of ore to support the coins long term value

We want to launch three coins at the same time (within one hour of each other) to avoid pump and dump scenarios.

We do not know which, if any, of the bars will go on an exchange (although we hope all three) and we have left it open to miners to decide which they feel will be the better investment based on potential amount of bars mining, demand and desirability.
