1  Other / Meta / Re: LoyceV's complete List of all Bitcointalk usernames on: November 29, 2019, 04:39:07 PM
Is there a way to list the known alts, or other relationships between accounts?
2  Other / Meta / Re: Active users, top posters and most active topics in the past 1h, 24h and 7d on: November 29, 2019, 04:35:29 PM
You could start talking about the big bumpers. Or alts with nsfw user names.
3  Other / Meta / Re: BAN REQUEST for TMAN cause RACISM and excessive vulgar speaking on: November 26, 2019, 06:34:31 PM
TMAN adds colour to the forum. So is adding colour the new definition of racist. Many of these words from the British colonial days are now part of the global english language. For example, how many of you use the expression " I don't give a dam" (note the spelling ), but don't undertsand it's origin. The dam was the smallest coin in the Indian currency in the colonial days, so is using that phrase racist?
4  Other / Meta / Cotswold legbar on: June 14, 2019, 04:35:59 PM
As we are discussing fowl topics, I should like to mention the Cotswold legbar. It is a wonderful English chicken that lays blue eggs with a bright yellow yolk. It's far superior to the battery bred jobs with thin shelled eggs.

5  Other / Meta / Re: Suggestion about vulgarity in topic titles on: June 14, 2019, 03:13:19 PM
I hate people using swear words in thread titles. It's nearly as bad as capitalising and using glyphs.
6  Other / Meta / Re: sockpuppets in meta lately on: April 13, 2019, 06:32:20 AM
That Jet Cash is one culprit, when he puts his right hand up, we can be quite erudite and sensible, but the left hand makes us use naughty sexually explicit words like "tupz". I wonder if he still owns the dot com of that.  I liked my brother JetAid, but he hasn't been very helpful lately, and there is much Jet about him.

Mind you - Jet Cash isn't becoming a bit obsessed with crypto, and he's turning his back on cash. It's all those nasty dirty notes, he'd much rather have some nice clean virtual assets that don't smell of coke.
7  Other / Politics & Society / US agents kill 2 civilians in a failed attempt to import weapons into Venezuela on: February 23, 2019, 09:38:54 AM
With the convicted war criminal Elliott Abrams openly admitting that the US is attempting to import weapons into Venezuela to assist in the overthrowing of the democratically elected president. we see that the predicted death of civilians by US agents has happened, and is being used as an excuse to start an invasion of the country. The US is losing world support and credulity by these actions. Isn't it time that they left other countries alone, and spent the people's money on rebuilding the crumbling infrastructure and the economy.

It is obvious that the Eton/Oxford elite are intent on shoving the US under the bus, so that they can build a new global super state. Remember Clinton was a Rhodes scholar at Oxford, Obama has British Commonwealth origins, and Juan Guaidó is a graduate of Washington State University - the US University to train graduates to implement regime change in asset rich countries. Washington State is associated with Oxford University.
8  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why would you use an antivirus? Safe PC and Safe working. on: February 22, 2019, 05:57:36 PM
Just a note of caution here - Two anti-virus programmes running in the same computer can be worse than one, and can leave you partly unprotected. If they both fight for control of the interrupt handler for example, you could end up with the interrupts being sent to the wrong handler routines.
9  Other / Politics & Society / The Fubar talks about the rise of the EU, and it's future. on: February 22, 2019, 04:08:57 PM
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EokwQi15pO0

It discusses the way the EU took gradual control of European countries, and how the next 50 years will be the growth years for the self-determining countries. It also describes how Britain can help with this growth if it is outside the EU.
10  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Influence of other countries on: February 22, 2019, 03:37:48 PM
The US will force then to accept humanitarian aid that they don't want, and then they will send in the Marines.
11  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Stop Running For Getting Merits !!! on: February 22, 2019, 03:33:55 PM
Come on guys - merit discussions are so "last year", we moved on to the DTs, and that one is running to a close. We need a new topic for the summer. Smiley

For anyone who really wants to learn about merits, DTs and other forum stuff - RTFS ( Read The F---ing Stickies ).
12  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: post topics on: February 22, 2019, 03:26:20 PM
One of the rules you could respect is - read the stickies at the top of the board indices.
13  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk is Dying? on: February 22, 2019, 03:23:06 PM
I think the thread completed it's purpose and it's time to be locked and let go.

I agree, and I gave you one of my rare illuminated merits for suggesting it.

Of course Bitcoin Talk won't die. Just wait until all the bankers start their crypto projects, that will set it on fire.
14  Other / Meta / Re: [Proposal] Enhance the requirements for ranking up to Member position on: February 22, 2019, 03:18:20 PM
I have 2 alts with member rank, and this one with member potential, but not enough activity. They were created for various purposes ( and declared ). I ran them up to member rank, mainly because of the link capability. None of them has ever been used for bounty promotion, and I think it is sad that so many members here are completely obsessed with bounties, and scratching a few pence from promoting them
15  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: bitcoin balance vs fiat debt? on: January 20, 2019, 09:21:31 AM
This is really a multi-faceted question, and you need to consider the reason you are considering going into debt. Debt is slavery, so the decision shouldn't be taken lightly.

Credit card debt - the interest rates are enormous, so you should always clear your balance when the payment is due. If you are unable to do this, then you need to take steps to reduce your expenditure or increase your income.

Speculation - This one is a bit harder, and I've used short term loans to make money. You need to watch the interest if any, and you need to be able to cover any losses if they happen. Examples are - running a business with a 30 day credit line, and using the credit to supply corporations. You need to monitor this very closely to make sure you don't build a problem. Another example is buying a car for repair, and selling it quickly for a substantial profit.

Your house - You should be able to negotiate a very low interest rate for this type of loan, and it can make sense if the repayments including interest are less than you would pay for  rental.

Fripperies - if you can't pay cash for them, then do without.

Food and daily expenses - never use debt to pay fer these. If you haven't got the money to buy food, then do something to earn some money, cut somebody's lawn or clean their windows for example. Alternatively, cut down on food purchases. Nettles are very healthy when boiled, and you can probably find them for nothing.

Bitcoin is extremely volatile, and I believe the long term prospect are good. However, you shouldn't buy Bitcoin unless you can afford to tie up the money for at least two years in my opinion.
16  Other / Meta / Re: TMAN abuses DT system. Remove TMAN from DT, include him in Blacklist from future on: January 19, 2019, 10:04:10 PM
I vote that TMAN changes his name to DTMAN.
17  Other / Meta / Re: TMAN abuse DT system. Remove TMAN from DT, include him in Blacklist from future on: January 18, 2019, 04:58:39 PM
The ring does not demand anilingus ( whoops, is that a gay joke)
18  Other / Serious discussion / Re: How do you make money of bitcointalk? on: January 16, 2019, 06:48:34 AM
While signature campaigns are the prime focus here, there's another conventional, albeit less/ more rewarding method. Linking a website in your profile, signature or posts.

I used to do this a lot, but I've backed away from it a bit now. In fact I invented the "splinky" You hosted the image of a conventional smiley, and then you included that in your post with a link to one of your webpages. The post appeared to be normal, but you gained some advantages with Google. Google seems to have changed its rules now, so it isn't worth doing it any more.
19  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Caution!!! Do not buy accounts!!! on: January 13, 2019, 08:03:51 AM
It's really a waste of money. The only reason to buy an account is to take part in a signature campaign. As soon as a DT detects that it is a bought account, then it will get a red tag in the trust rankings. This means that it won't be able to join any of the more profitable campaigns.

You'll probably make more by buying some Bitcoin, and waiting for the price to go up. You can then spend your time learning about crypto and blockchain technology here.
20  Other / Meta / Re: | Irrefutable Evidence that Lauda is running the forum with alts and "bitches" | on: January 13, 2019, 07:54:46 AM
Which am I? An alt or a bitch

Leaked information from an informed insider confirms that you are not a "Flash Cunt".
