361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: March 01, 2016, 08:25:33 PM
With one seller representing almost half the volume, there's just no way this can be sustained. I still believe when he's out of ammo there's just no stopping the rise. I've even opened a margin position and am betting lending fees on the suppression not lasting.
362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: March 01, 2016, 12:43:01 PM
The rate at which his sell walls are eaten (there were at least another 30 BTC sold at 200k besides the two 64 BTC walls) seems unsustainable. He's going to run out of XMR. Sell walls can control the price short term, but after a while the market cap will be the market cap. The only way to prevent a longer term increase is to actually decrease interest in the coin.

Just look at the 30 minute candles. Long wicks. Surprisingly few people have panic sold, but when they do the bots (and a few actual people, I assume) just eat it right back up.

A 25 million market cap is in the works and it'll take a lot more than this guy's got to stop it.
363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: March 01, 2016, 12:04:45 PM
And yet the market doesn't retreat more than 3%. This guy will run out of ammo soon and then what? There's only so much 27k USD can do to a market trying to gain 10 million or more in market cap. Just a matter of patience.

I don't get why he's selling like that... but that's none of my business Wink
364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: March 01, 2016, 09:49:29 AM
Thanks =)

As a trader full time I was attracted by the obviously good technicals, so perhaps it's good I didn't become enamored too soon by the fundamentals. Wink
365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [RADS] Radium - Bringing Advanced Utility to the Blockchain on: March 01, 2016, 09:45:11 AM
Yep. A lot of people bought due to hype instead of understanding they were making a solid investment, so there's a lot of panic in the market. Doesn't phase me a bit, nor anyone who knows where the market cap is headed regardless of what day trading hobbyists do in the short term. I'm just hoping I can take some profits elsewhere in time to catch this dip.
366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: March 01, 2016, 09:32:42 AM
I'm really impressed with the maturity of the discourse in this thread. Not something I'm used to seeing on BCT. Could Monero be the home of the best and brightest cryptoheads? Wink

I don't know why I never really looked into Monero before. I've been around longer than it has. From what I've learned this is definitely my candidate for the next #1 currency-focused altcoin. Whoever is unloading all those coins at 200k is going to find out why the market refuses to drop more than 3% no matter what he throws at it. =)

Glad to be here for the long haul. Carry on.

367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [RADS] Radium - Bringing Advanced Utility to the Blockchain on: February 29, 2016, 10:57:38 PM
I believe 0.0008 is the new floor on RADS.

It had its 50% retrace and is forming a bullish triangle, the current bounds of which are 86k-95k, and which comes to a point in the next 7 hours. I think if someone is buying under 86k they're going to miss the next leg up.
368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: February 27, 2016, 07:02:44 PM
I see volume keeps going lower as I have predicted. Sitting somewhere around 75k now, down from 700-800k fake volume. Expect price to follow on its way down to 4mil market cap.

Get the lube ready boys. It will be a very rough ride.

Too bad you don't know how to interpret volume.

Alright... break it up guys. Please stick to such phrases as "we're going to the moon" and "we have a big announcement coming this week".

Thank you.

Best time to buy is now.

371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [RADS] Radium - Bringing Advanced Utility to the Blockchain on: February 25, 2016, 09:01:54 PM
Not me! I sold DCR last night at the top and now I'm just holding RADS and BTC. I'll probably buy more RADS while it's cheap. I don't think it'll go under 60k again.
372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DCR] Decred - Hybrid PoW/PoS | btcsuite Devs | Tons of New Features | Go on: February 25, 2016, 09:45:32 AM
282 coins per airdrop, 1955 airdrops left.

282 x .0065 = 1.833 BTC per airdrop

1.833 x 1955 = 3883.515 BTC

That's a lot of BTC out there waiting to be sold, even at this price. I think I'll take the double top as a sign to get out and wait for a Polo launch and/or more airdrops to be sold. That buy wall makes me nervous too.

Got it, thanks =)

What's the point of turning Radium into Radon instead of just using Radium to pay for blockchain services? I'm sure there is one, just curious about what's going on there.
375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [RADS] Radium - Bringing Advanced Utility to the Blockchain on: February 23, 2016, 10:36:43 PM
I love the communication and daily progress. You guys are doing a great job. Keep it up =)

Stupid and hostile is a bad combo... =(
377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [RADS] Radium - Bringing Advanced Utility to the Blockchain on: February 20, 2016, 06:45:23 PM
10 million market cap is actually around 0.009 with current btc price   Grin so there is alot of room to grow

At time of quote:

2,638,909 coins x 0.001 BTC = 2,638.909 BTC
2,638.909 x 420 = 1,108,341.78 USD
10,000,000 / 1,108,341.78 = 9.022487630124347
9.022487630124347 x .001 = 0.00902248

So you were correct. I miscalculated somewhere. So we're going to about 900k.

This is my preliminary idea of the channel RADS is forming...

You didn't miss anything. This coin will achieve a 10 million market cap in the short term. With the small number of coins that's 0.004 per coin.
I little hard to believe that this is possible maybe you meant to 0.002

When ETH was at 252k I estimated the market cap to be 500 mil, and the price to be 0.015 or 6 USD.

People thought that was a LOT harder to believe. It came true in a month. Here I'm only predicting it take a short term place near Monero and Factom.
