An interesting question for all coins is -
How much does it cost to maintain the coin at its current price level?
It gives you an idea of how much money is currently flowing into the coin, and resources being used to secure a coin's network. It's easy to work out - you take the current price and multiply it by the number of new coins created each day. I've compiled a list and it currently has some interesting coins at the top, and some interesting coins at the bottom - here it is

Zzzack thanks for the explanation. I am three years too late to the party. Now I am trying to get my head around, which one to mine and which one to invest. Everyday, there are bunch of clone coins created and most of them have very short shelf life with no clear vision or purpose. There are few I saw has some potential but I may be totally wrong here since I am a noob. The ones I have been looking at are StableCoin, purely for the security, Sexcoin purely for its vision and the last one is Aliencoin, purely because it is new and it was created by people who created 42 coin. I did mine Dodge in pool but with people mining at minimum 15MH/s I can't even get close to getting anything. Other than mining, I am still doing more work on finding something where I can invest rather than mining, so far I did not find some I can really invest, any ideas or suggestions?
No to Stablecoin and Sexcoin. I have lengthy reasons for both, especially Sexcoin. I'm not sure on Aliencoin. Don't know much about it. But if it goes like 42 coin, I suggest being one of the very first to invest in it and then sell pretty much immediately when it gets on an exchange. Those guys are better for marketing/branding than actually developing a coin (notice how many projects they're trying to handle rather than focus on a single project). If you don't believe in cryptos medium/long term, then I suggest looking at OP's data. It indicates that QRK, Zeta, IFC need barely any money daily to maintain their value. Coins like Doge, if they lose interest, even if investors don't sell a single coin, miners will drive down the price unless 1.3 million dollars enter the market. If you believe in cryptos, invest in the coin that has functional features that you think will separate it from others. If you want to be safe - go BTC (lowest risk, some potential for growth), choose either LTC or Doge (personally not a big fan of these, but high growth potential), and choose QRK or another CPU-mined coin (personally I think a CPU-mined coin will be the future. QRK is a good medium term investment, still not sure how it will end up long term. But its got community, transactions 12x faster than btc and 8x faster than ltc, and only needs 800 new USD per day to maintain its value). As for making money quickly and with a high return, follow coin launches and see which one is getting hype based on a meme or a feature or a developer. Buy in fast, and sell fast, because it takes a TON of effort to become a top 10 coin. sexcoin failed to deliver on their promises |

Ok, I'm gonna keep it simple : Ethereum is a copy paste of Bitcoin except that you'll be provided a tool that allow you do easily develop on top of the blockchain. These guys are not going to develop any application. You will have to do with their tool. This tool will be for free after the IPO. If you give your money for these greedy guys, how will you develop your own business ? that's also the other problem, they won't be producing any application. They will only make a tool that will allow u to make one. I'm sure some nerd out there can make one for $50,000 or for free if he wants to do it himself |

Why do you presume that 30000 BTC will be invested? they are asking for $36million Isn't 30000 BTC just the maximum amount that can be invested? It's the maximum because its what they hope to get, if they were really honest they will cap it at $5 Million MAX. Too much greed. Why would they set the max at $36MIL if they really didn't need that much? People need to ask critical questions. |

I agree with Gigacoin's points about free markets they are valid but my problem with ethereum is not the tech but the amount they are asking is just insane. Come on guys $36 MILLION ? WTF are you guys smoking, it seems to me they are calculating in buying a few homes for themselves and new cars obviously, and then maybe use $2 Million for the actual development ? You can get this project Done for $5 Million is a very lavish way. Also don't forget that they increased the IPO price.
Have u guys looked at the team? one of them is 19 years old, and the other seem like they are there just to get rich with no real credentials. One of them is a fundraiser who worked for ron paul campaign, not even a developer wtf...$36 Million with nothing to show for ? Again They are asking for $36 MILLION with NO READY PRODUCT OR COMPANY VALUATION, WAKE UP PPL!
unfortunately projects like these will kill crypto and we will be the laughing stock of the world, this is TRULY the Dot Com bubble in the making.

This is a community event to issue votes for the banishment and exile of Proudhno from the speculation Board, it is a matter of major concern for the community. Proudhno has been trolling the forums for the past couple of weeks, he has been posting unrelated rubbish and drivel. Sock accounts with 5-9 posts suddenly poped up supporting his posts and adding to the rubbish pile. While i don't post much, i am a regular observer of the speculation forum and the board has been cluttered with llama junk and feces for the past 2 weeks due his posts. In order to cleanse the forums once again and we can have real speculation discussions please vote here.
I also think due to the damage done, his BTC should and must be confiscated by the community and distributed among the speculation board members. Please vote and post your opinions here!

The answer to your question would be to identify myself via name, contact info, etc... I understand the importance of identifying myself, especially in the current environment where investors are being scammed on all levels both through the security itself and also by exchange operators. With that said, I am hoping to build trust based on my actions and performance. Given the nature of this business, it would be best for the operation and for investors, that certain information does not become public.
You do not get to pair this attitude with pretentious "we"ing as in your OP. See here, demonstrate your competence. Then, and only then, can the rational favorably consider investing in your efforts.
