Hello apache20, There's another simpler scenario where I may want to use an order like this. Lets say I have .5 Bitcoin I bought a long time ago and plan to be holding for a long while, but the price zipped up really fast and I sell some at 12,200 with the intention of buying back in when it pulls back. After I sell, I'm watching the price continue to bleed out slowly to the downside but I don't plan to be glued to my screen for the next 20 hours and I want to just let it run and kind of see how low I can get it back. So, I want to set a buy order a little higher than what the price is now (say, 11,800) in case it breaks the downtrend and starts to reverse with strength, but still allowing it to have a chance to continue lower.
For this specific scenario of where you want to sell your BTC when the price reaches 12,200 and buy back at 11,800: You can setup a Sell Take Profit order (Profit Price = 12,200) with a conditional close of Take Profit (Profit Price = 11,800). This will ensure that the order to sell at(or above) 12,200 is filled as market order and sold at(or below) 11,800 as market order. I have a problem loggin in to my Kraken account.
I have my username and password but since my old mobile was lost my new mobile does have authenticator on it but that does not respond anymore to kraken.
in other words I can not do Two-factor authentication anymore.
I do not have a master password either.
I only use my account once a year or so, I am not really remembering how that thing worked with the Two-factor authentication when I first installed it.

gentlemand, I can confirm that you do not need to register with a third party to utilize the new ClearJunction GBP funding method. @Kraken Since when the Swiss Franc is considered a cryptocurrency  Someone hasn't had enough coffee in the office? I have a couple questions.
How much does it cost for domestic USD wire withdrawals? For US traders, is a IDCP always required for Intermediate verification? How about SSN?

exstasie, Domestic USD withdrawals have a 5 USD fee. And yes, US traders will need to provide both an IDCP and their SSN for Intermediate verification. Funding capabilities/limits, as well as the specific requirements for each verification level can be found by accessing the Get Verified page when logged into your Kraken account. |

So at 11PM (French time) last night there was a spike at 9604,97€/BTC
All day I see that on my phone as the highest price of the last 24 hours.
It's still the case right now.
Yet I had a sell order at 9600€ and it didn't execute. It's still there.
What's up with that ?

Tell me this Etana custody thing is not the solution that you guys finally came up with after all this time and that it is a temporary bandaid?
Etana had the whole kicked off Nz list issue not to mention its quite small. It is a custody service and a 3rd party meaning someone else holds my money and they could go bye bye with it.
On top of the above concerns, you have to apply all over again for KYC with them and answer a 6 page questionnaire that is intrusive as hell. All you've done here is passed off your banking responsibility to a 3rd party, washed your hands off and if anything goes wrong you would claim you are not responsible.
Why is it just you guys that are unable to get their banking in order when all your competitors have gotten theirs?
sampam, Kraken’s collaboration with Etana Custody is not a temporary solution, however we are always looking at adding additional funding partners and options. Please note that Etana has not been kicked off of any list, as they are fully legal and compliant in every jurisdiction they have a presence in. We have had more than a year of due diligence put into Etana and are happy to offer an additional funding option to our clients. The new funding method does require opening an account with a third-party, however clients are not obligated to use this funding method if they do not wish to. Our push to offer additional funding options does not stop here, as we will continue to explore and offer additional funding options to our clients. Just as with our other banking partners, we work very closely with them to resolve any issues on our client’s behalf and would do so with Etana-related issues as well.
