it is your good decision that you invested your money in bitcoin because the price of bitcoin is now increasing rapidly and it will make a good profit for you, but i think saving half of your money in bitcoin will very good because placing all the fund is not good as if you suddenly need a big amount of money then it will be difficult for to convert bitcoin into fiat because this process takes time. but If the op has invested his all money in bitcoin then it is not a good decision. because it is not good to put all the eggs in one basket, the op need to distribute his assets in different places, through this way we can reduce the risk of losing our money in in time. i think we also need to keep some money with use because no one know about the emergency that when it can happen, therefore it is important to have some money in hand. |

When Im in gambling if I feel that its not working and I saw my self into difficult situation I'd rather quit than to lost everything in my life.When I see theres no hope,why should I continue.But sometimes its really easy to say but its really hard to do.But if I wanna quit I really have to decide,decision making is the only way to leave at all.
but most of the people even they know that the game is not in their favour and ever after losing a lot of money, they do not stop playing gambling but increase it and make their bet more bigger, they become more greedy then want to recover their lost money and therefore they continue but in fact they continue losing money until they become empty handed and lose everything, even their watch, mobile and may more. |

I just only did gamble for fun and entertainment only. Gambling is just a game of relax like what others said here in the forum. I never think that gambling is profitable, no its not true because most of the gamblers in the gambling sites faced losses of money. If you play gambling because of fun and entertainment then gambling always be profitable for you. Because if you are not earning from it and still you play it then what does it mean? It mean you like to play games and even you are not wining but still you get fun and enjoyment and it is enough for a player. Gambling is not a profitable but sometime gambling give us profit whenever we win. And we should accept that mostly gamblers daily win in gambling. can you mention a single casino where they play gambling for fun and not for making money. secondly if you are playing gambling for fun and not giving edge to house how will they manage to run the casino. I don't understand why people try to earn money with gambling. This way is very very difficult and the chance of winning is very very lower than the chance of loss. Instead of gambling open Bittrex even you don't know any coin choose randomly a coin and invest your money to this coin. I think this way is better for making some new money.
yes that s right, gambling is in fact a very difficult job and most risky, but it look like very easy, in fact gabling require do not requires such an education or knowledge, you also do not need and experience in gambling, but still we depend on our luck here and no one can be lucky for every time. but if you do not have any experience in selecting a coin, and if you do no have any knowledge about crypto market then it is more risky than gabling, because there are so many altcoins which are scam or already dead. |

Is difficult to determine when the pump will be. News would be the best i think to guess you should see people discussing about the trending coin and I look at the volume of the coin. Gutfeel i use no TA's lol. this for crypto.. But with bitcoin you see FuDs every where negative news they want to buy so they want it dump. Positive news everywhere will pump. in fact it is not so easy to know that when the price of bitcoin or any other currency is going to pump or dump. but if a person is study the market and have good knowledge about bitcoin or any other altcon, and those people who hare too much familiar with the nature of bitcoin and altcoin then he can really predict about the future of bitcoin. |

I can't place all my funds into bitcoin because I was scared that one day bitcoin were declared bankruptcy. But I put enough fund as investment for the future value of bitcoin.
yes i also not placed all my fund in bitcoin, because i never invest all my money in one place i like to distribute my money in different places,i just want to reduce the risk of losing money, because is dangerous to put all assets in one business as if the business does dong you can lose you all money but if you have distributed your investment in some different places then if you are not getting money from one side you can sure get from other side. |

young people shouldn't go all in with bitcoin since they don't have enough experience on what to do with their bitcoins to be honest if they don;t have knowledge they don't know what they are doing and they will just waste their money for nothing it its like throwing money into garbage for no reason.
to me if they have completed their education then they have really good chance to take active part in bitcoin, if they are interested in trading altcoin then they should take start from a very small investment, they should try to spend more time in trading altcoin. and when they get experience and trading skill which can take your decent time then you should go for bit investment, i am hopeful that the young generation will not need the feel to get a job after joining bitcoin. |

Some people already mentioned here that the government is not going to give up on the control they have on Dollar. However, as people use more and more bitcoin, fiat currencies may not be replaced, but considered obsolete by most of the people. The consequences of this are yet to be seen...
If you really check the amount of users that are actively invovled in any form of trade in the virtual world,the number of people involved are really low compared to the amount of fiat currency being used world wide,money is being pumped into bitcoin,which means dollar euro pound what ever may be the currency it being pumped into bitcoin by the investors and they are not doing that thinking that it it obsolete,everyone wants to make profit and so is the reason you see these investments and they are not intended to replace dollar,so hope you understand what i meant. fiat currency and bitcoin currency are both different , bitcoin is a online currency and replacing fiat currency is highly impossible because the circulation of bitcoin is very less and it wont be sufficient to run in the real world. yes to me bitcoin is not going to replace dollar but i think both will work togather for a long time and whn bitccoin will become so much popular that most of the people start using it then may be the use of dollar become a little decrease but still dollar will continue for a long time. even after accepting bitcoin and using it for every thing people will also like to use Dollar along with fait where they feel more comfortable to use fiat. |

I have around 0.3 or so and I'm still holding it, I got it before a long while at $100 for it so already made a relatively good profit, but I'm not looking at it as a short term investment, rather a part and contribution to BTC even as it grows adopted world wide and as a global currency.
Congrats on that profit. I have also similar situation like you. I have a bit of bitcoin that I bought last year. But what makes me upset is only holding is not givin us much benefit. If you compare the price on year ago with the price at the moment you will see that bitcoin grew about 5 times in that time period, what kind of investment, except for altcoins, can give you so much money, not many I suppose so I think we are getting huge benefits with bitcoin we just need to put even more money on it in order to get even more benefits. yes that is right the the price of bitcoin rise more that 5 times as compare to the present price of bitcoin but in fact the price of bitcoin has still good potential and it can raise much more. and therefore the people who have even purchase bitcoin at a much price but still going to hold bitcoin for more time tell the price reach to more high price. so its mean that price of bitcoin has still good potential to increase. |

yes very honestly people are currently using bitcoin for investment purpose and for trading, some people may also be using it for gambling, in fact bitcoin is creating as online currency, and some people are already using it for shopping and other business matters, but most of the people do not have access to online shops or do not even know how to use it.and on other side in most of places there is no single shop who where they can use bitcoin for shopping therefore they are mostly using it for trading and playing gambling purposes. |

I'm not gonna say a strong NO to this question. Bitcoin is still around $2500 but this doesn't mean it will never come back to $1000 region again. Any technical issue about itelf could cause a huge dump. Or imagine US banned users to withdraw from exchanges. This would cause another dump.
I think its nearly impossible now because bitcoin demand is rising high to higher now many contries allowing bitcoin to be used in trades and markets. I think bitcoin has a bright future and the prises is going to high so I think we will never see bitcoin lower to $1000. yes i also agree with you that it is really difficult to see the price of bitcoin below 1000$, even not possible to see at trading below 2000$. the price of bitcoin is trading a little stable for some days and hope that with in few days the price of bitcoin is going to cross 3000$ but it is not going to stop there, because the price of bitcoin still has good potential and hope that very soon it will cross 5000$, and in fact most of the people are holding bitcoin for that price. |

I think paper money is going to last as long as the governments want them to last, if they want to and see it more profitable to start a digital currency to facilitate transactions online I think they'd do it for the betterment of themselves, and centralization they're not going to do it cause they're looking out for the people or anything along those lines. People may say that they would never work with a governments crypto, but you would, and you'd do it because the government would probably try to make it hard for you to use other currencies so you're kinda forced into it.
Governments hold a shit ton of power, and we kind of have to accept it or be run over by them in the process.
but i think it is all because of the interest of the people if people are interested to use fiat then it will continue and when people will give preference to fiat currency then fiat currency will become more popular and slowly the use of fiat will decrease and at last will die for ever. but i do not think it is so easy to happen it will take a long time, paper money will continue to be use by the people along with bitcoin. |

If you keep saving money, the inflation will diminish your money because of high iflation rates. Saving purely money may not mean a good opinion. You can invest them in somewhere. Bitcoin, real estate, gold or another thing.
Yes I agree with you and that is what I always read and heard from financial agent. You will lose some with savings due to inflation rate. For instance, you have 2% per annum interest while at the end of the year, your savings will be less by tax and inflation. Ending you lose a good amount of money. So it is always better to have investment. yes although risk of losing money in trading and investment also there as no one know about that either you will make money in investment or not but chance of making money is always there and you can really make a good profit form investment and trading, so i will also like to choose trading and investment. and specially investment in bitcoin and trading altcoin is also a good and secure way of making money. |

I think it can be done with many ways. One is to work and earn via bitcoin, but I don't think many are interested in that. So the probable choice would be bitcoin/altcoin trading. If they are lucky enough and smart enough, they can earn a good living with that. Bitcoin has touched its value to the most height. it's good for all kind of people and now in a lot of Markets it is acceptable and it's a good source of income. it is really a great opportunity for traders to trade through Bitcoin. its now making good money for traders due to high marketing price. some people are investing money in Bitcoin and wants to get a good profit. online job is also a source of income now, so no doubt Bitcoin is now high-level cryptocurrency and a good source of income. bitcoin has still too much potential and i think it is a good source of income because bitcoin is giving us so many opportunities of getting money from bitcoin. for example though trading altcoin we have a very good opportunity of earning bitcoin, from trading we can even make a very good profit that we even cannot get from our day job. there are so many other source of bitcoin through which we can also get bitcoin. |

I have made seversl mistakes while gambling like earning a profit of of 0.5 btc and then getting a loss of 0.2 and then earning 0.12 from 0.007 etc etc. The only mistake i made was depositing funds on gambling sites in the first place if i had never done all this i would have a good sum of coins but i havr surely learned a lesson
Yes everyone of us here already made a mistake and totally will learn from it. And it's really sad that you already have a sum of money which you profited from the game and then it will lose at the end of the day. That's really hard for me recover so right now I'm playing safe when it comes to gambling. making mistake in gambling is very common, and to me i think the common mistake that we make in gambling is playing gambling without limit. generally people play gambling because they consider it as one of the most easiest way of making money and they also consider it as their only hope for making bitcoin, but when they start losing money then cannot bare that and never like to disappoint from there and for this purpose they try to continue playing gambling and return the money that they have lost and then make more money from it. |

Yes, i am holding my Bitcoins for a long time and i am not really planning to sell them in near future just because of the fact that Bitcoin is showing tremendous amount of growth and i believe that it will be the best investment of my life.
in fact most of the people here are confident to hold bitcoin and not to sell it right now, in fact the investors want to hold bitcoin for next few months and i am sure that in next few months the price of bitcoin will raised to more and more high price. it is expected that the bitcoin price will continue increasing and this time going to cross 3000$ and will even hit 4000$,and hope that it will continue increasing after that. |

It might happen. And if that happens then the next 15 years the dollar is no longer a standard in the world's finances
15 years is not enough. Because there a lot of instances there are lot of country or areas that will not cover an internet connection so they wont be able to use their bitcoin, also it really takes time to make all of the people in the world to know what is bitcoin. It would really take a lot of years before it would be replace and i dont think it would be replace though yes that is right that in next 15 years bitcoin is not going to replace fiat but i think it will take a lot of time may be decades because currency most of the people even do not have any knowledge about bitcoin, and therefore they are not using it, i am sure that very soon they will also start learning about bitcoin because bitcoin is now introducing in different places in a best way, and very soon they will also become able to use bitcoin. |

I store a part (very small percentage) in an online wallet where I use them to buy litecoins for gambling but the chunk of my savings are in the core wallets with my privatekeys saved on a flash drive.
yes that is what i also store my bitcoin in online wallet. i am using online wallet for a long time but i do not find anything wrong to it and in fact now i am fully confident about using online wallet for saving my bitcoin and will like to continue it for a long time. i am sure and hopeful that even in future i will continue using my wallet without any problem, hope the that in future the online wallet system will become more comfortable and secure. |
