Over the last few months, quite a lot of hype IT-startups have ceased to exist, having overestimated their forces. This applies not only to blockchain projects but also to the market of AR solutions. As you know, since the beginning of January, Meta, Blippar, and ODG have left the race. And now, when the market has a lot of free high-class specialists, it is the best time to actively strengthen the R&D Department of our growing ecosystem.

So, our team is recruiting experienced developers in the fields of computer vision and SLAM who will accelerate the implementation of the ArconaCore and the process of scaling the AR projects across the planet.

On the threshold of the launch of the first version of AR Viewer, we are expanding the team of 3D artists. They will face the most interesting tasks – to design and revive test AR projects for you, which you will be able to place on your own Digital lands.

Another direction is the improvement of blockchain technology on the Arcona platform. We have to solve a lot of non-standard issues related to the internal circulation of the token, decentralized data storage and various nuances of copyright registration.

Our main goal for this year is to launch AR Viewer flawlessly and to market it as hard as we can and, of course, to start placing content all over the world and help people get rewards and profits for their AR experiences. Taxi Lyft wants to add augmented reality features into its service

We bet that nearly every one of you who had to take taxis and were tracking your cab online had the same problem: how to understand what Black Toyota or Honda is yours. And you were standing in the street trying to figure out if this car was waiting for you or a person right next to you. Then you needed to play a game where you had to compare the car's numbers and after that, you could be driving to the point of your destination.

Lyft says their AR concept will change the way we look for our taxis in the street and how taxi drivers could easily understand where their customer is among the crowd.

Thanks for the question! We won a grant when we were working with the Piligrim's projects. This year will be all about partnerships and we will let the community know as soon as the deal is closed with any partner.

After the release of AR Viewer which will be on iOS first, we will start working on Android and then will concentrate on different wearable devices. So when it's time for AR headsets, we will test various options.

Microsoft Holding a HoloLens 2 Press Event Next Month

According to some resources, this new release is very likely to happen and tech lovers together with augmented reality enthusiasts will see a new AR wearable device.

Microsoft HoloLens is the first self-contained, holographic computer, enabling you to engage with your digital content and interact with holograms in the world around you. This headset was introduced to the public in 2015.

HoloLens is a standalone AR headset that has had a remarkably long lifespan as a first-gen product in a brand new device category.
