Greetings earthlings!  Earthcoin still is the best name for a global coin, the logo and name are great and better than the rest imo it's a better name than bitcoin for the future. So much coins with strange names in the top 50 why... I don't understand it. This coin could and should be in the top 10, is it not because there is no dev activity or because it is missing the latest developments? |

Ok when can we get a wallet that works???
Tried the 1.2 on winxp64 / windows7 / windows 8.1
Maybe an update worked but an initial installation of 1.2 crashes.

I got an application error when starting the 1.2 wallet.
The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0150002)
There also is no directory created in application data.
Anyone else also having this problem? I get an error on winxp64 and also on win8.1 the wallet doesn't work. And btw the burnerracing game also crashes on my s2... I don't want to be negative but nothing works!  Windows XP 64 bit? Ok great to see there still is a team, but it would be better if it was/is more visible. I suggest to post once a week a brief summary on the progress suggestments news etc etc, always at the same day same time. Even when there's no real news let the people know whats going on behind the scenes, it will create trust. It will trigger more dicussions here on this forum instead of eartcointalk where it's not visible enough to the big public, earthcointalk came to early IMO we are not bitcoin or litecoin yet. I think it's damn shame that a coin with so much progress (great name, beautifull site, transaction messages, once a big community, earthazaar etc etc) dropped down to 208 on coinmarketcap. A good and visible dev team will regain trust and will attrack investors.

Summercoin was dead, they change it to Summer2 and there is again some activity, we are so running behind, either EAC need to come with something that will really become a hype or we will hit 1 sat soon, pretty sad story for one of the biggest coins in the beginning of the year. Pretty sad.
This. Change to X11 or something. Not only is it more earth friendly, using less power, but it's an algo people like at the moment. Sort it out guys. Who are the "guys" at the moment, haven't seen biomech anymore also no posts from the earthcoin account. But I think Wes is still very busy talking technical stuff over skype with all the developers hehe  Jo wes are you still alive?? Biomech you've got the family stuff worked out already? And this vague linki person he build the last eac wallet, I think he never even posted one message here, why not... weird isn't it? And mister Norb last heard from him during the famous chat session. Come on "guys" be active do something or be honest that the current team isn't capable to bring this coin forward. Time to put all the cards on the table, transparency is needed now! And indeed I also think it would be better to change to x11. |

Question, I'am mining at hardcore, how come that the pool hashrate is higher than the net hashrate could anyone explain This could have 2 reasons: 1) Display error, maybe pool hashrate is up to date and nethashrate is with an delay of some minutes 2) The pool created a fork, this means that the pool works on a another blockchain as the rest of the mining web. If you ask me, reason nr.1 is the right one  Ok thnx for the answer :-) |

All those POS coins are doing pretty well. If we just stop adding new coins then the price most go out and you create a shortes of coins.
yes indeed to many coins being generated for the current demand. I think the supply should be halved asap. Would like to hear the opinion from the dev team about this (earthcoin account) What are the pros and cons I'm working on a writeup on that very subject. I will have it under the news thread before the week is out. There are a lot of things about the concept of this coin that seem to not be well iterated to the public. I'm trying to fix that. It will be a fairly long post. And yes, I'll post it under the earthcoin account. still waiting for the writeup ... Sorry for the delay. I"ve had to deal with a number of personal emergencies and a computer crash over the last few days. I've barely had time to think, let alone write. I haven't forgotten, but I did forget to update everyone as to the delay. In the meanwhile, TamB has been taking up a lot of my slack. Thanks! Dev team.. dev team.. there is no dev team this coin has much potential but with no devs arround it won't happen. Were are Wes and Norb?? haven't seen them arround sinds that chat session about the premine... they only responded because they were affraid for a witchhunt imo. Biomech great addition to earthcoin but he has nothing to speak about anymore I think. We were promised a weekly update on progress etc. Current dev team realy failed they have had there chance!! I mined and bought at 150 at 100 at 70 at 50 at 40 at 20 at 10. Since then no progress at all in the core developement. We have a great name great site earthcointalk earthazaar a android wallet but it all failes because of the current dev team! I realy hope that John the original founder of earthcoin reads this, please come back and help earthcoin back on track. Help us John you're our only hope! |
