Please what is the source of  your news. I haven't read this anyway in the news or Samsung's website. The news does not look accurate.
Am pretty sure the world will soon begin to appreciate Cryptos when big companies like Samsung accept crypto as mode of payment

103  Other / Off-topic / Re: How useful is bitcointalk to your crypto journey? on: July 23, 2018, 08:56:13 PM
I have learnt a lot of things from well experienced and resource persons from this incredible forum. For instance, the forum has made me to understand how to go about  activities such as trading and how to identify a good ICO or blockchain based project. My journey in the world  of crypto would have been incomplete without this forum.

105  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trade Vs HODL on: July 23, 2018, 08:39:53 PM
From my little experience and research in crypto trading. Day trading requires much of your time and attention otherwise you will end up making loses. So if you don't have time for Day trading, it is advisable to HODL since trading could be very risky if not handled properly.

107  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Can Soon Hit $40,000 as Trading Becomes Easier on: July 22, 2018, 10:51:44 AM
The source of the news is not really factual, but from speculations and assumptions, bitcoin can really reach greater heights just as the later months of 2017. We are almost in the last quarter of the year, so most crypto enthusiasts are anticipating a rise in the price of bitcoin.
108  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: THE POSSIBLE CAUSE OF DELAY IN TRANSACTION? on: July 22, 2018, 10:43:38 AM
In addition to what the first two users posted, there are few other things as well:

1. Some exchanges prefer to wait a bit more and group more transactions into one (more outputs), so they can save some on their transactions fees.
2. I've noticed some exchanges, tend to use unconfirmed outputs as their inputs (mostly, those are with low fees and it adds to your waiting time).

Thanks for the explanation, am sure this is what happened in my case with Kucoin, I was transferring 0.1btc and used the regular transaction fees of 0.001btc but I had to wait for more than 4 hours. I think most of this exchange sites are not being fair to us , as the transaction fees they charge are relatively high.
109  Economy / Trading Discussion / THE POSSIBLE CAUSE OF DELAY IN TRANSACTION? on: July 21, 2018, 11:49:55 PM
I have had more than two occasions where my withdrawal of bitcoin from an exchange has delayed for more than 4 hours even after authorising and confirming the transaction through my e-mail. I don't know if am the only person that this particular problem has happened to. I want to know the possible cause of the delay in transaction during withdrawals.
110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin SCAM! on: July 21, 2018, 10:07:21 PM
Most of the scam projects use bitcoin as a cover up, usually they claim  the amount of bitcoin invested will be used  for mining purposes.  It is about time some of these scammers are arrested and prosecuted by international laws.
111  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My small advice about crypto market on: July 21, 2018, 02:31:34 PM
You need to study the market in order to make the best of profit. Cryptocurrencies just like any other profit making venture out there, you need to have some level of knowledge to be able to succeed. Without this, you will end up doing panic selling, which you will later regret.
112  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The crypto capital in Europe? on: July 21, 2018, 01:18:23 PM
Over the years France has been a strong force as far as blockchain technology is concerned. There have been a number of successful ICOs from France , I hope the government policies will support the advancement of blockchain technology.
113  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Easy way to protect your computer from Bitcoin copy past virus! on: July 21, 2018, 01:08:57 PM
In the near future, the best way to prevent such attacks from happening is by using the AVAST antivirus, it is extremely helpful as it has helped my friends and I from such attacks. The internet is full of viruses that can invade your personal data so we need to be mindful of the kind of websites we visit and the files we download.
114  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Recently reduced transaction fee on: July 20, 2018, 11:47:09 PM
Transactions fees varies from one exchange to the other and one wallet to the other. Am sure you sent your transactions through the blockchain wallet because they charge the least transaction fees  from my experience.
115  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: KuCoin vs Binance on: July 20, 2018, 11:04:28 PM
Kucoin and Binance are both great exchange sites. I prefer Kucoin to Binance because  there are alot of coins that are listed on Kucoin hence trading is really convenient. There are alot of altcoin listings on kucoin almost everyday so many people are  attracted to register on Kucoin lately.
116  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future of Bitcoin in India on: July 20, 2018, 10:52:20 PM
Although the policies at the moment don't seem to support bitcoin, the future of digital currencies looks bright, sooner than later the government in India and other governments in most parts of the world will begin to appreciate the beauty of bitcoin and how beneficial blockchain technology is to every economy.
117  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 60% of world population cannot access computer so Bitcoins will fail. on: July 20, 2018, 09:06:48 PM
Over the years, many people have speculated the failure of bitcoin but this amazing crypto is still doing amazingly well. The world is fast advancing in this digital age as a lot of education on blockchain technology is on the rise now. Bitcoin will stand the test of time despite the large number of people who lack access to computer and internet.
118  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest into Bitcoin or bank on: July 20, 2018, 08:56:21 PM
It depends on how you wish to have your money. For a long term investment , bitcoin is the best choice of investment. If you want to invest on short term basis in crypto, you might not earn much on your investment as the price could go up or down.
119  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-07-10] Joseph Stiglitz says BTC could drop to 100$ on: July 18, 2018, 04:16:25 PM
Those in high authority are scared of bitcoin, they don't want to lose control of the high power they hold when it comes to finances. Bitcoin is here to help the world and make it a better place through blockchain technology but negative statements from high profile personalities is hindering the wonderful vision of blockchain.
120  Economy / Economics / Re: why do people agree to pay taxes? on: July 18, 2018, 12:58:14 PM
Tax payment has been with humans since ancient times, taxes are paid to government to ensure that various activities of the government goes on smoothly. Hence it will be very difficult for a group of people to resist the payment of tax since the reason for paying tax is justifiable.
