21  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: HitBTC scam! on: January 15, 2018, 04:56:11 AM
I used to be a supporter of hitbtc, but in last 2 months they are really terrible. Just look how they are treating XEM/NEM deposits and operations (blocked from a week). Then before XEM/NEM problems I've noticed similar for other currencies. Now I keep binance acc, coinbase acc and recently got a freewallet acc cause they are really working hard to keep low fees and do btc transactions quite fast and cheep

Bitcoin Core is one of the older and more trusted wallet solutions out there, a really good one.
Coinbase (online option). Online exchanges are, by and large, less secure than the methods described below. But Coinbase seems to have learned from the lessons of its predecessors, and is one of the biggest bitcoin exchanges in the world. It's also user friendly.
Electrum is a popular, free storage option and is one of the most well-respected desktop storage apps.

If I were you I wouldn't look for the chepest fees, because here the reputation matters more. You can loose thousands because of intent to save $10

I know these sources very well and tried them, I was hoping to find out something new, maybe not so well known and an ideal reputation. trading is risking and I'm open to it.

If you want something new, you can check recent wallet start-ups like Javvy (it's main advantage is high security) or Divi (quite userfriendly) or FreeWallet (they promise no fee for btc transaction inside their platform).

Anyway, better hold now as adviced and not to use BTC for transactions if you do not want to waste money on fees.

And do you know that China is planning to kick out miners ("bitcoin miners should make an “orderly exit” from China because they have consumed “huge amounts of resources and stoked speculation of ‘virtual currencies.”"(Techcrunch says)) and that's the big problem for BTC community, there're a lot of miners there

28  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you want to Buy with Bitcoin? on: January 09, 2018, 08:20:37 AM
Do you know that there recently have been conducted the first real estate transaction: in Seattle a guy bought a home with BTC. Huge, huh? I would like to buy a house with BTC.
29  Other / Off-topic / Re: What wallets do you use? on: January 09, 2018, 08:18:07 AM
I'm recently testing FreeWallet. They are quite new on the market, but already offer 0% transaction fee for BTC inside there system. And outside fee also good. But it's not that good for little cheap coins, because the system does not always cope with the load. But support solve problems fast enough

36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest now or wait? on: December 27, 2017, 02:48:30 AM
it is good time to invest during the chrismas holidays when most people do not trade. the prices are at low ebb. You see what's happening to BTC?
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do Altcoins really have a future? on: December 27, 2017, 02:42:34 AM
I believe Bitcoin has a future in long term. It's proved itself in the past years and it is getting popular. It just has a transaction fee problem atm.
I only have hope for ethereum and litecoin, but not the rest. I am not even sure about eth and ltc.
If bitcoin solves the reansaction fee and time problem, I doubt eth and ltc even have a future
38  Economy / Economics / Re: Electronic Money vs. Physical Money on: December 21, 2017, 01:35:53 PM
There soon will be services that will pay us for spending our own time!

I know what you mean, here I am to agree with you. Those projects are already almost on the market. our mytimecoin promises to be a great success
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum at $1000 in Jan 2018? on: December 20, 2017, 04:26:55 AM
I'm not sure ethereum will hit $1000 by 2018.

According to experts the price of an Ether should reach $1000 at least by 2019. That is a decent Ethereum price prediction in my opinion, considering their currency’s fluctuation. Some charts even show $1500 by may.

We'll see.

I use Myetherwallet for my altcoins and hardware trezor for BTC. And you should always be very careful with you passwords and stuff.
