1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are you surprised at the price of ETH? on: September 17, 2018, 11:49:21 AM

Are you surprised at the price of ETH? what is the reason?

ETH, to me has been performing very poor, i am not satisfied with this development because i thought ETH would have done better, however, this is crypto any can happen. The way ETH is currently going, i think other crypto may overtake ether in no distance time.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment or free? on: September 14, 2018, 04:06:03 PM
I see the crypto market growing more and more with the appearance of more and more coin and projects. Every day there are dozens to hundreds of new projects being established. Most of them aim to call for investment to develop the project but besides that many projects do not call for capital but only distribute their token free through Airdrop programs and bounty. This leads to competition and attracts different users. Do you think free or investment projects will last longer?
prefer to follow the Bounty Campaign on Airdrop. Because I still don't have enough money to invest in coins. I also followed the Bounty Campaign because I was afraid to invest, because the condition of the coin was still unstable and I was afraid of losing money now. Maybe someday I will invest.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The first cryptocurrency insurance in australia on: September 14, 2018, 11:38:26 AM
Australian Decentralized Capital Collaboration to Provide CryptoCurrency Services:
This is an Australian consulting firm "specializing in blockchain property" and "asset management services"
They will work with Custodian Vaults, a private Australian company.
It has been advised that the Group has been decentralized and that the supervisory banks are cooperating to provide covered cryptocurrency monitoring services as described as Australia's first cryptocurrency insurance.
Do you feel that cryptocurrency investors are in need of a larger array of monitoring services to secure their assets? Please share your opinion!
Appreciate the existence of this Cryptocurrency guarantee. But I think this will be one of my favorite projects based on unique ideas. At present, cryptocurrency assets are not so safe and easy to break into. Hackers and prices go up and down to the news of the routine every day now. So, people look for security for their coins. So, I hope this cryptocurrency insurance service project will give us the best solution for the security of their coins as well.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is cryptocurrency ever going to replace Fiat? on: September 14, 2018, 08:00:58 AM
Cryptocurrency is the future of all payment method due to the decentralized nature which grants financial freedom and power to the people. However, for it to replace cash or the Fiat, it will take years of awareness creation. Up to date, some people do not have access to internet whereas others do not know how to access it.

It takes time to learn cryptocurrency because cryptocurrency is based on technology that is quite complicated when done by parents and children. And cryptocurency cannot replace FIAT because FIAT is the legal state currency.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you raised money on ICO? on: September 14, 2018, 06:10:16 AM
Do you an experience of investing in ICO? Was it a good experience? Have you raised anything?

What is more, you can get tokens for testing a project's beta. For example, KickCity. You can get reward for testing this platform https://kickcity.io/event/5a9d11030cf2cac8e081f3e8

The right time was last year, the investor on the ICO did not have time to buy from the influx of willing. Bitcoin was bought at a high price trying not to be late for the gold Express. But also, a wrong and rosy dreams about the imminent wealth quickly vanished.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Bounty Hunter Problem on: September 13, 2018, 03:36:57 AM
Been viewing multiple threads on why coins dip after being listed on exchanges? Most of blame that goes towards bounty hunters and how they sell of coins immediately, effectively causing a mass panic, and eventual dump of the coin below ICO prices. But, they aren't entirely to blame, because ICO creators themselves have ultimately created their problems behind dumps.

Since 2017, bounties have become increasing popular, and with that popularity, they will have: more gates, require higher quality posts/accounts and force bounty hunters to perform more and more tasks, taking up more of hunter's time and effort. Most of these bounties also pertain to shitcoin scams, that are usually dead within 1-2 months after the ICO is completed. So there's a high risk pertaining their time being invested vs. payout.

It's in the best interest for bounty hunters to dump their coins immediately, due to high risks and uncertainty behind the teams of each ICO. If a coin can't pay for it's own advertisement campaign out of its pocket, then they are going to pay through the exchanges. You aren't getting free services/promotions, to further an ICO for no cost at all, there's a cost to everything. And, to add to this, if a coin can't cope with the amount of coins given away for free, then it's time to re-think your marketing strategies, not following the rest of the herd to get a bounty campaign going.

In fairness, increasing competition and the volume of coins launching are forcing all ICO's to have bounty and marketing campaigns. There are different and more lucrative ways to market ICO's btw, but they are less used and not realized yet by the majority of ICO's occurring, due to their lack of understanding.

That being said, there's definitely a high influx of new people entering crypto, and profiting from the few legitimate bounties and will dump instantly to reduce risk. This is only natural, as there are a lot of people around the world looking to profit from these types of things, and they support themselves/families on these things.

Crypto is much different now than it was 1 year ago, and certainty 2-5 years ago, in terms of the people who actually believe in the potential behind blockchain, and what some new coins are attempting to achieve. Most people in crypto have little to no passion for what this entire field entails, "cash out quick before your profits go to 0" type mentality.

just fyi: I've never joined a bounty campaign for an ICO

Edit: The points in regarding that bounty hunters don't cause price dumps, is valid. I was addressing the issue why bounty-hunters dump, as they are the ones that often get blamed for dumping (by everyone). Most ICO's get dumped for several other reasons, but, just wanted to explain this particular instance.

the biggest reason that bounty hunter is a problem is because of the low penalty for death. It's easy enough to kill a bounty hunter when they attack you. However, they most likely only lose 450 gold worth of gear each death. This means that they can attack you 11 times before it's no longer worth it to keep trying. If the bountied player gets killed, they lose an entire prot set, their bounty, and their streak. It shouldn't be that hard to win a fight against someone 11 times in a row. But if they're decent at PvP, they can easily win one of those fights if they steal your kills or attack you without any healing. They could also bring friends to make it even worse.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still believe in bounties and Cryptocurrency? on: September 12, 2018, 10:31:33 AM
There's alot of people move out from Cryptocurrency some are for their loses and without experience, some are doing for in bounty campaigns but still not get result so I want to know behalf of that reason I have mention is correct. What do you think?

Not all ICOs who turned out to be scams are really scams in the beginning. Maybe the result of their ico or campaigns were not successful and they could not pay the bounty hunters so they just diasppear. Maybe some of them are really legit in the beginning. I have experienced joining in icos that were scams in the end and suddenly disappear after the bounty ended. But I never gave up on ICOs and in joining bounty campaigns because I still believe that there are ICOs who are true and legit. It is just a matter of choosing carefully on the bounties to join.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Recommended alt coins? on: September 12, 2018, 07:18:19 AM
can you guys recommend any alt coin for next month?
I am looking for the coin to invest my budget into, but I have no idea.
So, if you know any, pls recommend me.
Now almost all the altcoins are approaching their bottom. Those projects that are technologically advanced and continue their work will eventually be able to restore their positions. Those who stayed afloat only through speculation, will not be able to recover.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Predictions 2018/2019 on: September 12, 2018, 02:18:57 AM
What are your predictions for 2018?

Do you think the crypto market will recover from the correction we are currently going through? What are your predictions for where prices are going to be at the end of 2018?

We think the market is going to recover in 2018! Smiley

Bitcoin travel on the market is very dynamic and unpredictable in terms of price fluctuations. many people estimate that Bitcoin will be normal in August 2018. but in fact the price of Bitcoin is falling and continues to fall. so our conclusion here is not able to predict Bitcoin prices in detail and for sure.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Choose a Good ICO on: September 12, 2018, 01:27:27 AM
Hi guys, there are so many ICOs, such as those listed in https://www.coinschedule.com. It's pretty hard to review them one by one.

Which elements I need to consider, the team? the product? the promoting technology? or something else?

Thanks for any suggestions Smiley
The difficulty is not easy to recognize which ICO is good and which is Scam. I can research the Scam Project from the Team, Team performance, Team Structure, Target market, Legal basis, etc. which I consider important. From there I can decide to invest in a project at the ICO, whether the project is suitable or not.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What coin to hold in 2018? on: September 11, 2018, 11:36:48 PM
are the top coin or the coin below?
I will hold bitcoin and ethereum for my investment coins. I think the most profitable and promising coins to hold are bitcoin and ethereum. We know that bitcoin has the highest price and ethereum becomes the most useful coin.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to get fast rich in crypto world? on: September 11, 2018, 12:43:37 PM
Wealth is not how much we earn. This is how much we still have. Therefore, in order to become rich you need to work in a complex, rather than just increasing your income.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: which is best coin for long term hold? on: September 11, 2018, 11:34:45 AM
i need suggestion from you.you guy's can give me best info.
i want hold some crypto hold for long time.which can give good profit for long term?
It all depends on what goals you pursue. From this already and build your own strategy of behavior in the cryptocurrency market. After all, if you want to raise profits quickly and a little bit. Then you will approach the short-term investment bought-sold.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: It seems that altcoins are on the rise on: September 11, 2018, 10:13:14 AM
I have been checking out a few altcoins for investment, like Spectrecoin and Shia coin (and a few others)  and it seems they all have started to rise. I am waiting for my funds to arrive in Kraken and I am a bit worried that we will see a nice upwards movement of altcoins since the bitcoin price is not moving much right now.
Is this the start of the a bullish trend for altcoins many where hoping for,  or is this just a temporary consolidation because of bitcoin not rising for the moment? Will the altcoin market gain momentum, what are your thoughts?
I will buy and hold coins that i like until the price rises high and i make it a long term-investment. The decline in crypto prices will not continue forever, crypto will continue to grow. Don't be pessimistic look at the market price because the value will always change.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Token goes down. Wait or sell? on: September 11, 2018, 07:53:10 AM
Hello everyone!

We all know that the situation with market is not that good as we want it to be. Thus it affects a lot of ICO projects. On the one hand people don't invest in coin so much money as they did last year. On the other bounty hunters sell tokens fast and the price goes very low. That is why some projects prefer list their token on Idex first. They want to see how a coin plays on market.

And what investors should do in such situation? Sell all they have for small money or wait until a token will go up?

I'm asking as a person working in such project. After ICO token price went down (KCY, I'm sure you heard of it). And It is interesting to know investor's opinion about such situation.

What is your idea?

It depends on how you want your profit to be. Of course, if you bought your tokens from token sale, I'm sure you won't sell it in a price that you will lose. Same as bounty hunters, we are all holding. We don't our hard-work and sweat just to be paid by small price. Market prices are unpredictable just remember how much bitcoin is a long time ago. We all have the chance but it's always in our hands.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you make money from ICO? on: September 10, 2018, 11:41:16 AM
An initial coin offering is similar in concept to an initial public offering (IPO), both a process in which companies raise capital, while an ICO is an investment that gives the investor a cryptocoin, more commonly known as a coin or a token in return for investment, which is quite different to the issuance of securities as is the case in an IPO investment. Do you invest in ICO? and has you make money from it?

I am only a bounty participant. I have not been interested in joining and buying tokens from the ICO project. I think it's very risky to buy tokens from the ICO project if the buyer doesn't understand how the ICO project works.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do bounty managers hide spreadsheet and pay hunters penny? on: September 10, 2018, 08:49:36 AM
The practice of bounty managers hiding their spreadsheet from participants is becoming rampant. They hide their spreadsheet and pay bounty hunters penny, which I think is a lack of integrity and it is totally uncalled for.
I have participated in like 3 bounties in the past where managers refuse to make the spreadsheet available to hunters. They all paid ridiculous amount. I got tokens worth $18 for 3 contents that I created. I believe this is exploitation and it have to stop.
The bounty manager's should not hide the spreadsheet and this should be transparent by the participants such that they could monitor the weekly stakes if they had complied the post requirements weekly. I think that it is not right for the bounty manager's to do such thing because it had made bad reputation on the bounty manager side that handles the ICO campaign.

19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WARREN BUFFET says Bitcoin won't end well on: September 09, 2018, 05:19:03 AM
What is your  opinion as per  Warren buffet statement, he is a wealthy giant globally he told CNBC on Wednesday the recent craze over bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies won't end well. "In terms of cryptocurrencies, generally, I can say with almost certainty that they will come to a bad ending,"
Am really scared hope the end is not near. I want to hear from knowledgeable individual what the future holds.
Not all Warren Buffett said is true. All know her and how expert when it comes to investment and stock  marketing. But not all he says is true, like now he attacking the crypto currency. They are only like us, only a man that can make mistakes of what they said. Crypto now is still improving and maybe the universal currency for the near future.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It is hard to detect scammed bounty campaign.. on: September 09, 2018, 01:40:25 AM
It is really hard to detect scammed bounty campaign.  After completing all the requirements to be able to get accepted in a bounty campaign, spending much time to participate in forums and not to mention carrying their banners, completing all the tasks and reports then all of a sudden you will just find out that you have been scammed already.  luckily I am not the only one but to think all participants did the same efforts as well as you did.  But it is really happening, lesson learned and could be just charge it to experience and move on.  If we could only find out at early stage if we were in to scam or a legit bounty campaign.  Who would really know anyway?
We know that it's hard to identify them. But there some aspect that we can detect them, first is by looking the design of their website together with the team specially its developer. In addition, looking also community and social media. Other thing is their roadmap and white paper presentation that mostly attract us. So we should always be careful.
