3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We need to change on: October 08, 2018, 04:38:02 PM
I have only gained good things from cryptocurrencies (they have changed my life for the better), however, I am frustrated at those who are in for money, and only money. They hurt themselves as well as cryptocurrencies future. I am sad that I still can't use bitcoin to purchase the things I want, as it isn't used as a payment currency/method. I am sad that there are big financial institutions that want (and do their best) to wipe the crypto world out, and instead of working together as a crypto-community to thrive, we are fighting, arguing, and scamming each other. Where I live, the government relentlessly tightens and destroys our financial lives—I was lucky to have found salvation in cryptocurrencies when others struggled.

We need to show the world that we are not just a bunch of wanna-be millionaires, that we actually care.

I agree with you, we need to change. But, we cannot completely blame those who are in for money, and only money, as you say.

I'm sure, the main interest the average person who comes to Bitcoin/cryptocurrency is because they hear the success story of someone (like you, maybe) who has gotten a better life because of Bitcoin/cryptocurrency.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you use Bitcoin as a practical currency? on: October 06, 2018, 05:38:06 PM
Not now, as you know, bitcoin still has many obstacles to use as a practical currency, Bitcoin must be able to solve some problems related to shipping time and costs.
5  Economy / Economics / The suggestions that you can give to people who are just entering the investment on: September 18, 2018, 05:48:48 PM
Hello guys. I want to increase my insight about investment.
6  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Should we pay taxes on Bitcoin? on: September 15, 2018, 08:36:56 AM
Yes, now in most countries, if you monetize your profits by converting them to fiat then you have to pay direct taxes or income taxes.

Although Bitcoin is not a currency that is bound to one country, today many laws regulate Bitcoin and require you to pay taxes.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is independent? or depends on fiat currency on: September 10, 2018, 04:09:47 PM
we are measuring it's value in dollars.

and what would you suggest we use to measure its value? it is the 21st century, we measure value of literary everything in fiat, those in US measure it in USD, those in Europe measure it in EUR, those in China measure it in CNY and ....

that doesn't mean it relies on fiat. would you like us to go back a thousand years and measure value of things like bitcoin in goods? like saying 50000 satoshi is equal to 1 chicken?

Well, that is a smart answer! Great answer!

At present, all valuables are valued and measured with fiat money, in other words, all depend on fiat currency. Obviously, that is the way we determine everything right now.

I think, what is meant by the independent nature of Bitcoin is the fact that bitcoin does not depend on the government, Bitcoin runs without the central authority or third parties.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The death of Ethereum is inevitable? Can ETH on the price of $100? on: September 09, 2018, 03:38:30 PM
I think it would be too much if we call Ethereum's death even though the price has fallen. Ethereum will surpass anyone's wildest dreams because Ethereum is used to build groundbreaking applications.
9  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trade Vs HODL on: September 04, 2018, 11:48:42 PM
Well, I think it would be wise to do both. Day trading and HOLD both play their roles in different situations, and if you can read the market situation correctly, you can benefit from both.
10  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does auto trading bot make good profit ? on: September 04, 2018, 11:41:56 PM
Personally, I have never tried it. But my friend who has been trading for a long time say that Yes, trading bots automatically generate good profits, they can do it, but only if you know how to use it, he said.

Bots are not for beginners, but if you have the time and patience to learn, you can make more money than just trying to trade yourself, he added.
11  Economy / Economics / Re: Tax on the crypto currency! What do you think? on: September 03, 2018, 03:04:14 PM
I think, the most suitable model for cryptocurrency tax purposes is the property, stock or real estate taxation model. You have to pay taxes if you have realized capital gains and you can lower your tax bill if you experience a loss.
12  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Methods to Recognize Frauds. on: September 02, 2018, 01:59:36 PM
Well, Nice article! I also read several related articles to verify whether ICO is a scam or not. the following is the only one. check here: https://www.cryptocompare.com/coins/guides/how-to-avoid-scam-icos/
13  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is Bitcoin Legal? on: September 01, 2018, 04:19:00 PM
I think that depends on where you are. Most countries are fine with citizens who own, buy and trade Bitcoin. But there are some places where it's are prohibited, where the government is hostile to bitcoin.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Buy ETH or not? on: August 30, 2018, 02:46:39 PM
Well, today we see people discussing the Ethereum accident, many Ethereum price predictions tend to look skeptical about it. But, as we know, many consider Ethereum as a land of cryptocurrency, so many things are built on it.

Therefore, it is difficult to imagine that Ethereum would fall without recovering afterward. With this, it means that if Ethereum falls, I'm sure the price will rise again. Ethereum is worth to invest in.
15  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: The European Parliament Says Digital Currencies Can Be Used as Money on: August 29, 2018, 08:03:31 AM
What I think about this statement is that the European parliament recognizes cryptocurrency.
They admit that it can be used as an alternative to money when many countries oppose cryptocurrency.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN = FUTURE on: August 23, 2018, 03:44:39 AM
Yes, Bitcoin is the future. Even when you get there, the future of Bitcoin with its blockchain technology can be more than what people predict. You know for sure that Bitcoins emissions are limited, which gives you a guarantee that with bitcoin you won't suffer from inflation, political instability or economic problems, it all doesn't have an impact on the level of bitcoin. So, it's wise to invest in bitcoin now.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has stabilized? on: August 22, 2018, 09:56:09 AM

 Grin Grin Grin

Bitcoin has stabilized!? Are you serious!? I believe he will cry when bitcoin becomes $ 20,000 by the end of 2017. Even regret will come today because he is the man who sold his bitcoin for $ 14 in 2011.  Grin Grin
18  Economy / Economics / Re: How to scam people for money on: August 21, 2018, 08:52:20 AM

This is a disgrace to the integrity of this forum. You are giving hints to those people which have no idea on how to do scam. Yet if you are a victim of a scam then that would be a lesson for you and try not to fall for it again.

It seems you misunderstood, you did not catch his post well, it was pure sarcasm and he tried to help the public to see the form of fraudulent business that was well packaged in the form of an investment scheme.
19  Economy / Economics / Re: Germany recognized the bitcoin on: August 21, 2018, 08:35:08 AM
Yeah, It's a great news and hopes it will to encourages the use of bitcoin by Germany citizen as a payment option as people will not be taxed. Of course, it's a good news for Germany citizen.

Other than that, German has founded an online bank that allows clients to transfer loans anywhere in the world using Bitcoin. (Source: https://www.reuters.com/article/us-germany-bitcoin/german-online-bank-uses-bitcoins-to-transfer-loans-idUSKBN1ID07Y)
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: They want you to panic :-> on: August 19, 2018, 01:53:57 PM
Yes, they want us to panic. We have to be smarter because actually, I think, if we don't panic we also get into the game, we can also use this situation to get more profits.
