Bitcoin & Litecoin Survival Guide

How to stay safe and profit in the digital ‘Wild West’ of crypto-currencies… even if you are a beginner

Bitcoin and its sister currency, Litecoin, are undoubtedly the hottest developments in money this century, and both are rapidly gaining worldwide attention.

Every day, it seems, the media is filled with stories of fortunes won and lost in the digital “Wild West” of crypto-currencies like Bitcoin and Litecoin.

But for all the thousands of column inches devoted to this amazing development, there is still a lot of confusion about what Bitcoin and Litecoin are, how they work and most importantly, how to keep your investment safe from theft or loss.

The Bitcoin and Litecoin Survival Guide will give you all the information you need to get ahead of the crowd and avoid becoming one of the horror stories.

In this no-fluff, no-filler survival guide, you’ll learn:

  • How Bitcoin and Litecoin work (and why some explanations out there are just plain wrong!)
  • The most important things you really need to consider before investing
  • How to quickly and easily get started in Bitcoin and Litecoin (even if you are a beginner!)
  • Easy ways to get hold of coins (as well as the ways to avoid at all costs)
  • The truth about mining (HINT: anyone who claims you can make easy money as a Bitcoin miner is lying)
  • How to protect your investment from accidental loss (this goes way beyond simply telling you to backup like some other guides do!)
  • Why Bitcoin and Litecoin are not as anonymous as people think (and how to protect your privacy)
  • How hackers can rob you even if your computer is offline (and how to stop them dead in their tracks!)
  • Why different wallets are not created equal (and how to choose the right wallet for the right job!)
  • Why accepting bitcoins could be a good move for your business (and how to manage the risks!)
  • And much more!

Why you NEED the Bitcoin & Litecoin Survival Guide

In 2013, Bitcoin investors got a 6,000% return and Litecoin investors enjoyed a 30,000% return!

So if you had invested just $500 in Litecoin, you’d now have $150,000 in your pocket!

I’m sure you don’t need to imagine too hard the kind of life changes that a $150,000 payday could bring. The holidays you could take, the car you could drive, the kind of lifestyle you could enjoy…

But imagine for a moment how you would feel if you woke up one morning to find you’d lost your riches, either because of a hacker or because of an innocent mistake?

It doesn’t bear thinking about, does it? But it can happen if you don’t know what you are doing.

You see, until now crypto-currencies like Bitcoin & Litecoin have been best understood by computer geeks.

They are the pioneers and this is their town, and just like the gold rush prospectors of the old wild west, you are entering a competitive and unfamiliar territory, with no Sheriff to help you out.

The problem is, you’re new around these parts… and crypto-currencies like Bitcoin and Litecoin strip away much of the expensive and bureaucratic ‘protection’ provided by the traditional banking model.

In other words, they put the responsibility for your money firmly in your hands.

This gives you an unprecedented level of control, but means that one innocent slip-up can mean the loss or theft of your coins.

So if you are going to be able to ‘stake your claim’ and avoid the bandits in the badlands, you need to quickly get up to speed and learn how to survive before you can begin to thrive.

“I had been holding bitcoins for a few months and was shocked at how easily a hacker could have stolen them. I now feel much more aware of the potential issues and have taken steps to stay secure.”
~ Paul, Croydon

What’s a resource like this worth?

When it comes to protecting potentially life-changing returns on investment, you need to be sure that the information you are getting is accurate and trustworthy.

The Bitcoin & Litecoin Survival Guide is written in plain English by Rob Woodgate, who is a retired IT Networking Infrastructure Consultant and active Litecoin Miner. Rob was a key part of several “leading edge” 6-figure IT projects over his career, and his clients included major international banks, household name brands and government agencies.

His practical experience as a Litecoin miner and expert background knowledge means that you get all the facts and none of the fiction from a knowledgable and trusted source in a format that is easy to read and understand.

To get someone knowledgeable to spend a couple of months trawling through all the information on the net, carefully sifting out the nuggets from the garbage to get the kind of laser-focussed information that’s in the Bitcoin & Litecoin Survival Guide could easily cost you $800 or more.

Or you could spend $500 to attend a seminar.

That is why the Bitcoin & Litecoin Survival Guide is such a bargain at $ 47.00 just $ 27.00.

The guide is easy to read, well laid out, and very informative. And it covers Litecoins too! Highly recommended.

Looks like a nice pool. DOGE Became little hard to mine in the last period specially for CPU users.

It is funny you should say that, 2 days ago we were a LTC pool. We were told we should switch it to DOGE to get started and show the community what we are made of. Would you consider mining with us if we were to start a LTC pool back up?

106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / [ANN] NEW DOGE pool, 700kh/s mining contract to the first 3 block finders! on: January 25, 2014, 02:39:23 AM
Hello everyone,

Project "Robin Hood" has found its way into the crypto currency realm, and we are bringing our "For the people" attitude with us.

We have just started our first pool, and it is focused on DOGE.
http://wemineco.in/

Server Specs:
ual XEON E5 SSD, 50GB storage space, bandwidth for 5.5Th/s constantly (roughly 5TB), DDoS protection (upto 440Gbps) hardware firewall.

This is brand spanking new, so you may be the first miner, and that is a good thing!

With our final goal being to build a multipool for the community, we figured we should start here with DOGE and build our reputation.

What makes us different?
Well PRH is well known for putting nearly all the profits made from their systems, back in to the systems, and its users. Because we are new to owning a pool and to the crypto currency, the only way we could think of doing this for now was to give the block finders a 700kh/s mining contract. This will apply for the first 3 blocks, after that we should have enough statistics and information to move on to bigger and better rewards, and potentially a 0% pool fee.

http://wemineco.in/
Once we get the ball rolling and the momentum is coming, so will the rewards.

Future plans with this pool:
- Give referral rewards (refer other miners, and get a commission from their mining efforts)
- 0% pool fee with donations going to the block finders
- Multiple referral sites and systems though advertising to increase pool profits.

Future plans in crytpo currency:
- Creating an exchange site for the people
- Creating a multi pool

ps. PRH loves building systems, and when you do what you love, everything else falls into place. If you guys use our systems, we promise to not only make it worth your while, but we will continue to build and expand on our networks.

We hope to see you mining soon.

Is the reward of giving the 1% pool fee to the block finders not enough?

We are project "Robin Hood" so tell us what you as the users/miners would like?

Can't complain when receiving free stuff. The Facebook and Twitter registration options are a nice touch.

Glad to hear that Tranzium,
Wish we had some crypto related stuff to give away, unfortunately we are too new to the industry, so enjoy the free views and earnings. View Queue activated!

You are currently the only activated view queue, so for every view that video receives, you will get 1 Bonus view!
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Project "Robin Hood" presents our first DOGE coin Pool! on: January 24, 2014, 09:40:09 PM
Alright, we have received our first miner. Congratulations.

To keep the momentum going, we are offering a FREE view queue on http://projectrh.com/ to everyone that posts their Project "Robin Hood" username in the comments.

What is a view queue? Well we have found a way to pay users for not only getting views to videos, but we have monetized fake/bot traffic. So by purchasing a view queue on a video that is being faked or botted, you are put in a rotation to receive bonus views from that video.

Step 1, create your FREE account http://projectrh.com/register
Step 2, post your username in the comments

We will activate a view queue on the video that is currently getting the most views. Enjoy!

Hopefully we will also see your activity on our new pool

Good question Tranzium,

You will likely be surprised by our answer. As stated we are new to the crypto currency, so we went solely off the recommendation of one of our Project "Robin Hood" users. We were told DOGE is the coin to be mining right now.

We have had multiple users request the option of being paid out in bitcoin, so we figured we would build a pool and see where it takes us.

Hello,

Our company is Project "Robin Hood", we have a few free websites and web applications that help your average joe earn an income on line.

We have recently been approached by a few users about paying out with crypto currencies. So we are here, to not only learn about potentially paying our users in coins, but also about building systems specifically for the crypto community.

We are already intrigued and considering building our first pool, so we look forward to getting deep in the forums to find out what the users want and need.

Hello  everyone,

We are Project "Robin Hood" an online community that designs and develops free systems to help the average Joe earn money on line. Our main website pays users for sharing videos from YouTube, Dailymotion and Break, as well as music from SoundCloud. A few of our users have recently asked if we could look into paying with crypto currency.

So here we are, doing our research and looking in to what seems to be the currency taking the world by storm. We are extremely excited about our opportunity here, and look forward to either starting a new project or solely integrating this in to our existing ones.

Would you be interested in sharing videos in exchange for coins?

Let us know what you think.

Hello fellow crypto enthusiasts,

My name is Bryan, I am the founder/creator of Project "Robin Hood" a website that pays users for sharing videos. Lately I have been seeing a surge in coin related videos being both shared and viewed on my website. So I began to look into the industry, and was recommended joining this forum to get started. I have been looking for my next Project ideas, and contemplating what niche would be best. I think I may have found it. So I look forward to reading and conversing with the people here.

Time to start reading!
