Why was my post deleted? Just proves you are skimming all these fake projects for yourselves.
"These notary nodes are a. Centralized scam to benefit only the old nxt people like James that left nxt and its holders holding bags of worthless shit coins."
dude they all do this, sure this works in one regard for what they need it to (and as a tradeable coin for pnd market maker action), but that's about it. kmd will not become anything major just like all other shitcoins. Still got ye head up yer arse I see. Kmd is doing quite fine thanks for asking, how are your hemorrhoids? They seem to be making you a cranky old crone. Quote from Blackbeard Aye Arrrgh! 'Tis a weary soul indeed that should tarry 'gainst a Pirates lot. Lest it be fur a cavalierin' way, even supercilious, tham thar treasonous blaggards must shorely be payin' a hefty price fur counterfit'n the Pirate'n way or be damn'd Fur those bein' partial te parlay, Bahhhh! I say we damn thar souls ta hell and let scurvy dogs eat from 'em flesh ta the bones be dry'n withered.
Nee i remind ye all of our own Pirata Codex, yea an act of war can be declared only by the Pirate King, who would shorely parley with shared adversaries on account a' find'n a treasure ta be squared wit 'ees fine men. Thus, me proud scrapes o' the Captain's charge, jest ye hold staedy 'pon yer feet 'til ye be given leave of yer sences. Arr ship be the mightiest 'pon this 'ere ocean and ye damn'd well better push farward, 'till ye be gi'en the call ta release the hounds o' hell hahahaharrr! What ye arrr lookin' at ye foul stenched sea maggots - GET BACK TA WERK!

Pirate.black
I propose to call my project "Pirate Cash" but the coin will be called PIRATE. These are really two different projects. When I was looking for the name PIRATE was not on CoinMarketCap. Ahoy matey. Pirate be a forced z transaction only chain boasting the highest degree of privacy. In fact it is a far better solution than monero. Ye can find the pirate OTC market on the shores of the kmd discord sea. Sail there long enough and you'll weather through a squall or two and come up with some ARRR in yer net.

Komodo, hands down. The technology is better. The solutions are better. The community is better.
Komodo allows many new chains to spawn. Pirate just spawned (the z only block chain). KMDice just spawned (dice smartcontract chain). Steaming video chains are being researched.
Komodo has smart contracts called crypto conditions. These are the first ever implementation of utxo based "smart contracts"
Lots and lots more

Arrr ye scurvy landlubbers it be raining kmd in discord today. The captain took his chest and threw it in the air in great display. Come oer and get ye buckets out.

What is the current coin total?

Obviously ye are reading the discord channel. Then ye should also have noticed that this chain IS still being tested. And there Arrrr other pirates buying as well, however this chain is so new , only few days old, that ye are literally still an early adopter.
Ye are literally bitching about not being an early adopter, yet the chain is still in a state of early adapotion including coding details. They haven't even figured out a GUI yet. Is that why ye are mad?
Ye have the same opportunities as anyone, and still do for probably a few months.
The real problem is ye are a crypto snowflake and have no idea of the definition of words including "fair".

Agreed, anyone not happy with the launch can support another coin with same anon properties, and hopefully a slower emission schedule with a pre announced launch time to vaporize all complaints. If someone did that I think they would get a lot of support,
^^^^ This, compulsory z-tx makes zk snark tech fully anon as it should be, but ffs launch it properly, not this pirate ninja circle jerk, build a community with a fair launch, don't say one thing (this is a test only) and do another (buy buy buy), why fuck this opportunity up?? Plol, what is fair launch? Only on bitcointalk is it ever not "fair" enough. Was 2009 Bitcoin launch unfair to 2012 Bitcoin users? Or was it unfair to 2018 Bitcoin users. Fair to ye is not fair to the next guy. The dev who started buying did so because it was cheaper than mining. 1 line of code will start ye own chain. Or go back to boo hooo, waaaaa, it's not fair. We are pirates, not the "fair" armada. Now go mop up that bilge water. Plol means pirate laugh matey.

Aye mateys, Stop ye bitching and start ye own damn coin.
I hear with komodo ye can do this with one line of code.
In fact ye wrote more bitchy reply length then that to start ye own chain. Silly landlubbers

Komodo is the safest, safest I know, and this is an independent blockchain, it looks like this will occupy the safest blockchain network ever, okay, let's look in the future
Here comes the juggernaut of snark bullshit again. This lorry should be taken off road and busted in a safe place under the palm trees in a salty desert. Im looking to get a confirmation from the Hudson based institute of cryptography as to whether the technology employed in zero coin has a chance for a living. For now all u can do is wait and scatter ur little hopes across the ground. Arrrr, a mutineer. To the plank with this lowly scoundrel.

Chips discussion is mostly on Discord from what I can tell.
There are some current bounties as well.

https://komodoplatform.com/whats-merkle-tree/Do I understand this correctly? Transactions and blocks once hashed create the merkle root. These collectively for one chain are called a merkle tree. When several chains (merkel trees) are together it's a merkel forest?

This is quoted from Discord. Hopefully this is ok to post. I felt that this was very good information. The user smellycouch asked the questions and LukeChilds answered. @smellycouch All good questions.
How fast is hyperdex compared to barterdex? The HyperDEX GUI and BarterDEX GUI are purely GUI implementations over the marketmaker daemon. They both use the same underlying library to interface with the BarterDEX network. So actual real performance should be the same. However HyperDEX communicates in a much more optimised way which should result in updates from marketmaker being rendered much quicker (almost realtime) compared to BarterDEX GUI.
How long does it take to complete a trade with btc? Currently, while we're in alpha it's hardcoded to require 1 conf for each tx on each chain. There are 5 steps to the atomic swap protocol from Alices perspective so it's roughly (alicecoin blocktime * 2) + (bobcoin blocktime * 3). So if Alice coin is BTC (10 min blocktime) and Bob coin is KMD (1 min block time) you should expect the entire trade to take around 23 minutes.
Obviously 1 conf for all coins regardless fo hashrate is not very secure, it just makes testing easier while we're in alpha. We will change these to more sensible values and allow users to override them with their own in the future.
We are also looking into implementing secure 0-conf swaps which will allow you to make any trade regardless of blocktime in a matter of seconds. 0-conf is secured by requiring both parties lock up collateral which will be confiscated in the event anything goes wrong.

I think the only reason people are using ethereum is that it is easy as hell to launch apps on it. And even some Cloudplatforms let you launch smart contracts easily. We all know that KMD has better tech, yet it still feels like you need some hacking skills to go through the docs to launch something. There is no active PR team who raise awareness about this innovation and that lack of marketing and communication is killing the spirit of this platform. I also agreed with you this platform is more secure but it is not easy for a common man to launch its dapps. Dev team have to do more hard work to make it flexible network and attract big projects to start their business on this platform. The spirit is alive and well. In fact it is nearing critical mass. You just have not tuned into the correct signal. Bitcointalk is to primitive of a communication for this project. The evolution is happening on discord. A quick trip there and you will see the honey these bees are making.

The ability to protect a PoW operated crypto currency via notarization by Komodo has blown me away. Gamecredit took the bold step to incorporate Komodo's notarization to protect its network from double spend attacks that is rampant on PoW .
Understand I this is a historical moment one chain helping secure another chain. What is in it for Komodo? How much does it make off of notary as a service? This is a revenue generator for Komodo? Notarization fees goto CRYPTO asset holders. Which gets paid out in KMD. Each chain that wants to use it needs 100ish KMD a year. Notaries do not make anything off the service except the transaction fees for the notarization. This is a "demand" generator , Komodo itself does not generate revenue, it services pay out to their respective asset holders. In 2018, 10000 chains being secured by DPoW may seem ridiculous, but if the rate of growth of blockchain usage continues the way it has ,10000 may only even be 1% of the chains in existence in the not too distant future. ( Figuring a million coin market demand is "reasonable" ) The next question seems logical would it be what is the list of coins above komodo market cap that are most at risk to need extra security and integrate with?
