Could anyone speaking swedish call the lawline, a free phone line for legal advice? http://lawline.se/contactThey would simply not speak english to me, and then conclude the call with "Thank you". Not very friendly; this case does change my opinion of Sweden dramatically. The most important questions are: - Is ordering a bitcoin miner a business activity (and hence the purchaser a business)?
- Is bitcoin mining a business activity?
- Do we need to accept a product (as a business or as a consumer) that potentially poses a fire risk?
- What are our options for resolution (dispute resolution? mediation? litigation?) and what are their costs?
Sorry for reading this so late but I speak Swedish and perhaps I can help you (if you still need it). PM me if that´s the case -Swedish law is quite beneficial for the consumer as a matter of fact... |

Can anyone provide a solid reason why to buy the S4??
I guess Bitmain won´t be selling the S3 or the S1 upgrades (I have some defective S1s) until they have sold their S4 mining farm...

I`m waiting for a refund for over 140 days
I had a real problem as my father needed a kidney transplant and asked for a refund on 30.04
Call them , explained them my problem , send them medical leather with the translation of my sister diagnostics and medical problem (the whole family has health issue ) .
They did not refund me , is the same answer over and over again .
I`ve sent email requesting assistance to over 15 Swedish lawyer with no response .
This is the worst company I`ve ever encountered in EU.
I had enough .

Hey, I just stopped back by on the KnC forum and saw that things have not got any better with the refunds. This worked for me, but ymmv. File a complaint form with ARN. On their website, they have forms for english also. Now I did receive email from them in swedish and had to translate it, but otherwise everything worked fine. I just filled out the form, attached my invoice and copies of emails from KnC. KnC waited until it was time for ARN to have a hearing and then refunded my money. Good luck on your refund. Hey guys! I´m from Sweden and, naturally therefore, speak Swedish. If you wish I can be of help getting through to the right channels for your claims. I have had some experience with ARN (Allmänna Reklammations Nämnden) and it can be a bit complex I´m afraid. If you want something translated I can do it for your (free of charge) -you can send a tip if you feel the help was good, otherwise a "thumbs up" for my rating as a newbie would be enough!  |

I just bought a $1500 2nd hand A2BOX from minereu.
The advert said it may have high hw errors. correct, but tolerable, on 4 blades.
the advert also said there would be no warranty claims for items unless they failed to hit 84MH/s poolside
I implored them to test the unit before sending it out anyway. That was clearly too much trouble for them. My unit has two dud blades, its 4 working blades manage ~57MH/s on my side on whatever is stock frequency and 7.8% HW errors, I've not bothered checking pool side.
Minereu seem to think that $100 compensation is suitable recompence for a miner that is 1/3 down on its 'guaranteed' hashrate. This is an improvement on their initial offer of 'good luck'. this seems to be because it will hash at full speed for a few minutes, before two blades stop hashing, completely.
I was going to have a good rant with plenty of expletives, but I really don't think I need to as they think it's perfectly OK to make guarantees then renege on them.
for $1578, I could have bought 2 new minis producing 70MHs, Minereu wonder why I'm so annoyed at getting a used ~57MH for $1500
Seriously, stay away from these conmen. If I buy a 84MH miner, I expect it to do 84MH/s all day, not for a few minutes.
You and me both brother! EXACTLY my experience with them -I beg the Bitcoin community please PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM MINEREU!! They are a virus in the promising bitcoin world! Sorry if I seem a bit synical but "Waniki" smells like a newly registered MinerEU account to get some good feedback in.
To be frank: I cannot see anybody having anything good to say about them, if they not by mere chance got a working miner or two -then I can understand there are no complaints!
Unfortunatelly that is a very very low chance that this happens and surely that is what all the Bitcointalk users has found out and left this thread.
Nobody is actually buying from MinerEU anymore! Me for one am glad to hear it -that is why I keep scanning this thread -to elighten the BTC community about this scammer "company"!

They are not serious and keep sending broken miners, and then refusing to replace them! They cost med 100s of $ so I have moved on to more serious resellers...
Again I encourage all Bitcointalk users to keep emailing Zeus to replace Minereu.com with a more serious reseller!

AGAIN: DO NOT BUY FROM THEM -the miners are often broken (DOA) and you will have to pay for return shipping yourself. They do not honour their 14 days DOA policy and only offers store credit (even if faults reported within 14 days). They do not abide by UK or EU law and are being reported to the police by several earlier customers, me for one.
