Due to a lot people requested, we will delay VMINE launch to the next week.
Dude, who do you think wanted a delay? alot of ppls, who do you think will left LimiCoin now, to mine vminecoin ? They are same coins. LIMI mining is almost over for the small miner. In a few blocks the reward halves, and after block 8000 till the end of POW (block 10000) is open for big miners.

Price going up AS IT SHOULD BE!!, come on people. Don't give up so easy your coins!! don't be pushovers. HOLD
No people, don't listen to this nice gentleman, just dump your LIMI for less than 100 sat, my orders are waiting on c-cex. It's cheaper than renting a rig. Do it, you really don't need this coin anyway.

Finally! Somebody picked up this great ideea! Limited hasrate is very good for fair distribution, and even better for value, as minerals demonstrated. That is, if you are honest and you do it right. Good luck with this coin, I'll be mining.

... I too like to mine coins without reading the OP entirely and all the posts associated with it.
... I too like to dump all my coins at the first sign of trouble and then blame others for my actions like a sock-puppet
Yeah, and also you seem to enjoy looking like a condescending prick, too. And using a newbie account at that. Well, good luck with that. Maybe it will work out well for you.
|
|
|
You should really implement single sign on. It's getting tiresome to signup for each and every coin on your pool.
|
|
|
Yeah, it's ok I guess. It's not like I can do anything to get back my investment. Just blowing of some steam from the fresh butt-hurt. This however doesn't mean the block reward should't have been made much clearer from the beginning.
|
|
|
As you can see in the OP, the reward structure was made more obvious only in an update, 20 minutes after launch.
I'm sure you just didn't read the OP Am I missing something, I could swear I knew about this zero block ordeal for DAYS?
You seem to be really struggling with the comprehension of simple implications. That's breaking my heart. Here, I'll make it easier for you. Read this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fine_print The obvious (unlike this reward structure) implication is: some people catch the fine print and others don't. It doesn't make it less scummy.

i easily saw the reward structure. it really is in the beginning of the post. i had no problem reading the following. Update 7-23-14 3:20 AM: Bittrex is on board and will restore Honor coin for the Community! They are no longer accepting new deposits. Everyone who has coins stored at Bittrex as of yesterday, your coins will be exchanged automatically for the new XHC at launch! If you still have Honor coins in your personal wallet, then get them to Poloniex as soon as possible before the old wallet/block chain becomes invalid. Deadline for the 1:1 exchange is 11:00PM EST on July 23rd! Update 7-22-14 11:07 PM: Please send your coins to Poloniex exchange no later then 11:00PM EST on July 23rd for the exchange! tl;dr As you can see in the OP, the reward structure was made more obvious only in an update, 20 minutes after launch.

So you didn't read the OP then?
So you didn't really read my complaint then, Mr. Fanboy? So you really didn't read the OP then? OK So you're ok with scamming by fine print, then? The gall of some people.

Should have read more carefully that first 720 wblocks are without reward. At least I pointed my rented miners to multipool to cover some of the costs. 720 does seem to much now that most people are quitting.
Everything else is absolutelly top notch, very smooth launch and coin I will be keeping my eye on.
I have actually pointed my rented miners at suchpool earlier today, long before launch, and then went on with my day's work. Then I've checked them this evening, only to see that all my rented hashes were wasted mining empty air, because I didn't read the fine print, conveniently "camouflaged" in a non-searchable, tl;dr raster image. That hurt. Well, at least everybody says it was a top notch launch. Only a small flaw: the thing that was launched was hot air.

We are currently finishing the Honorcoin Prospectus. What is a Prospectus you ask? "It is a usually a disclosure document that describes a financial investment for potential buyers. It commonly provides investors with material information such as a description of the company's business, financial statements, biographies of officers and directors, detailed information about their compensation and any other material information. A prospectus is distributed for current and potential investors.
Why not a white paper? A white paper is an authoritative report or guide helping readers understand an issue, solve a problem, or make a decision. White papers are used in two main spheres: government and business-to-business marketing. They may be considered as grey literature.
Investors deserve more. A real investment option for their portfolio, not just some marketing scheme. We are a real development team and will deliver real results that impress even the seasoned investor.
We feel that the current prices at the exchange will never be seen again. XHC exchange price is still undervalued and presents an opportunity for investors. For the Community! By the Community!

Scorpio18 sent me my estimated coin balance in full. This gesture shows he's attempting to do the right thing; please don't abuse his trust by asking for more than you mined.

I estimated I had 41k confirmed ICG on the pool and requested 40k, which he sent.
I asked for his ICG address so I could send 25% back to him as thanks for his trustworthiness and he would not accept-- he's concerned about rebuilding trust for his mining pools.
In this case my clearest assumption is that an honest pool operator got taken down by DDoS attack used by a competing miner. I don't approve of this strategy since it harms confidence in the coin even as it's being mined.
+1 I've also received my estimated balance after asking on IRC. At this point I would vouch that scorpio is trustworthy.

People that mined on coin-miners.info should really join https://webchat.freenode.net/?channels=#COINMINERSIt's quite informative (time stamps are GMT+3): [22:34] <coolisbad> scorpio18: anything new in the last two hours? This is why it's crucial for auto payouts. I was mining on that pool for hours that day and I withdrew all my coins because of auto withdraw.
I know man, but this was 30 hours mining, someone told, that wallet have a virus (dedicated owner), so i left the coin on the pool until exchange ... I was simply too lazy. If the pool is not up until it's too late, it will be a 51k ICG lesson for me.

Gentlemen, scorpio answered on IRC #COINMINERS, quote is from about an hour ago: [20:15] <@scorpio18> right now i working on it , i was speaking at the phone with the hosting company , right now i'm runing some test on the server , and next i will start working on the mysql server to recover the database [20:16] <@scorpio18> is just that the test taking a little longer than i expected [20:17] <@scorpio18> the next problem is the mysql that he got crashed last night and i was having problem with it [20:17] <@scorpio18> I apologize for all the trouble I have no idea why he didn't posted here himself, maybe he's under too much pressure and he didn't take the time to think how damaging the lack of explanations can be, I guess.
