21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What If Nothing Change In 2019? on: December 13, 2018, 07:22:27 PM
2018 is not a profitable year for almost all Crypto enthusiasts. Though there's an increase in adoption of blockchain technology but almost all crypto assets have lost close to 90% of their all time high and there seems to be no light at the end of the tunnel. In some weeks now, we will say goodbye to 2018 and the hope of market recovery will now cling to 2019. Though am not trying to be pessimistic but what if nothing change in 2019, what if the bear market continues unabated, will it be the end or sign of the end for Cryptocurrency because I don't think many will still continue to retain their hope if nothing positive happens at least for the first quarter of 2019.
I am not under pressure about the current market situation. Even if the market does not recover by first quarter 2019, those who believe in the cryptocurrency ideology will still remain.
22  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do not worry about the future of Bitcoin! It is just beginning on: December 11, 2018, 07:18:35 PM
We are too concerned about the price of bitcoin that forgets the true value of it. We overestimate the price of bitcoin up to 20k $ by the end of 2017, we create bitcoin bubble itself, but it does not have errors. Although the market is in a doldrum, you can see the big investors start entering the market, the giants are beginning to care about bitcoin. So let's be optimistic, I believe in the value of bitcoin, I believe bitcoin will have the same value as gold in the future.

See more optimistic information for bitcoin: https://www.nasdaq.com/article/bitcoin-money-of-the-future-cm895538
I may agree with you. I think we all over expected much or higher prices which is why we now found ourselves in this current dilemma. Those who are just joining Bitcoin may not have the same bad feelings like us who already lost huge in it because we all saw it at initially greater prices.
23  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin need a miracle on: December 11, 2018, 07:12:30 PM
The bitcoin need a miracle as the entire bitcoin market cap slumped down to $61 Billion.
We all need a miracle. Heck, the whole cryptocurrency market needs a miracle as the market cap slump to only $112 Billion.
The bitcoin market cap reached over $320 billion in December 2017 and the cryptocurrency market was at around $840 billion respectively.
What y'all got to say about the cryptocurrency market situation at the moment?

The market situation is now a serious panic for everyone. I had expected the crypto experts to try and waged the price at $4000 to prevent it from fallen below it. But no one did anything, and we have continued to endure the price slumps. The total market cap is now $107 billion. About one-eight of what we had in December las year. If there would ever be a price hikes again, it might just be by a miracle. I am personally not too sure anymore.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will cyptocurrency never be great again as it was? on: December 11, 2018, 07:05:13 PM
The cryptocuurency's price on the market is still going down... i just wanna know what you guys are thinking of the future of the crypto, would it be great again? or would be at the bottom of the market? or would it be forgotten? tell me what you think and why
I doubt if any patriotic crypto fan will think this to be the end of crypto because of the falling prices. Just believe, everything will be great within a little time.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Developer,team or community on: December 11, 2018, 07:02:16 PM
For any crypto project to be successful, there is actually none of these three you can rule out. But despite this fact, I still believe the community may be ranked above others in terms of importance to the overall project success.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why you should buy WAVES now! on: December 10, 2018, 09:27:44 PM
But surely, Waves is like a sleeping giant in cryptocurrency. With the continuous dwindling fortunes of Ethereum, some people may start turning to waves as alternative.
27  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the Market Stabilizing? on: December 09, 2018, 11:29:11 PM
What are your opinions?

For a long time I thought BTC stabilized at $6400, then boom!

I would like to get some views to help me decide what to do.

It has been a wild ride (to put it mildly!)  It can be scary.
You still have a longer time to wait for the market to stabilize. The situation is still very poor. But if you can be patient, you may have the same price at which you bought before now, then later maybe higher.
28  Economy / Economics / Re: Young people will drive Bitcoin adoption more than the older generation. on: December 09, 2018, 11:25:53 PM
My believe has always been this too. Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are designed to be used by this new generation of young people and the future. The older generation have little or nothing to contribute apart from allowing favourable government policies to support crypto.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't quit investing on: December 08, 2018, 11:58:40 PM
Good statements from the OP. But it is also sometimes advisable to slow down a little while on crypto to understand the market direction.
30  Economy / Economics / Re: Whether Getting Married At a Young Age Can Lead To Poverty And Make Poor Economy on: December 06, 2018, 10:56:17 PM
I see in my country many marriages at a young age and don't think about the economy in the future,
I know getting married at a young age is very beautiful,
but if the economy is insufficient, maybe should think again not to get married at a young age,
and I think from that marriage it can give birth to children and increase the population of the earth, and maybe in a few years the earth will be full of humans and surely there will be many other crimes to survive on this earth,

Is there a solution, to overcome this impending disaster
Getting marry early may not cause any economic disaster. Although, if you have reached that age of maturity and you intend to settle down for a wife, be sure you are financially buoyant to that.
31  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Medium of Exchange vs Store of Value: Where is Bitcoin today? on: December 06, 2018, 10:51:53 PM
As a student of bitcoin and blockchain, I have learnt that the deployment of bitcoin as money was its flagship usage as proposed and implemented by Satoshi Nakamoto. I also do know that it has remained the most popular application of bitcoin in the industry today. But the question is, how well has bitcoin performed in its role as money, especially, as a medium of exchange, and as a store of value? I think bitcoin has not done well as a store of value and its usage as a medium of exchange is still yet to gain popularity among merchants and shoppers. What do you think?
Bitcoin has not yet achieved its full potentials. It was supposed to serve both purposes as a form of exchange and a store of value just as gold. The challenge it has faced remains the same talking point everywhere which is its volatility. Until this issue is addressed, bitcoin will continue to hit the rock, and may never achieve what Nakamoto originally planned for it.
32  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am a loser. My only question now is, how do I tell my wife on: December 06, 2018, 10:44:49 PM
I mortgaged my house to buy $300,000 of ETH at 800.   I dod not tell her.   This house was paid off in full.  Now I cant make the mortgage payments with my job.  I cant even sell the ETH easily because I live in NH.   Should i keep holding?   Tired of making excuses about wherr all the money is going.   I guess I'm what you call a loser.   Thanks everyone.
I can sense the honesty in your sad story. All I can say is that you should hold your heart and be courageous to tell your wife the truth. You don't know how long the ETH price will remain low, also, how long do you intend to keep using your job to make the payments? Let your wife know the situation so that both of you can manage it together.
33  Economy / Economics / Re: Build a Bank Of Bitcoin on: December 05, 2018, 09:06:58 PM
if i build a bank of bitcoin that operating like a traditional fiat money bank when people can save the money and get interest for their saving and also people can get a loan from my bank but the fiat money is change for bitcoin, the question is would you guys trust me to save your bitcoin on my bitcoin bank that i want to build ?
I won't trust you or anyone with my digital asset such as Bitcoin. This is because it is something I can simply manage on my own without requiring someone's assistance to bank them.
34  Economy / Economics / Re: Fire in the market: Bitcoin is below $4000 on: December 05, 2018, 09:00:04 PM
There is fire in the market but we are running nowhere. We shall all weather the storm until the market recovers again and hope Bitcoin rise above $5k before the end of the year.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Never regret anything on: December 05, 2018, 08:57:23 PM
In crypto currency, Never regret anything.
No point in looking back and saying “only if I had done that.”  Or if only I had sold earlier, instead
Realize you made the best decision in good faith, for every reason that made sense or did not make sense  at that time.
Now it is time to let it go.
Focus on here and now.
That’s where success lives in crypto currency
It may never be a good idea for one to regret his past actions or decisions. But it is always good your reflect on them from time to time so as to serve as correction for the current and the future times.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top 10 Cryptocurrencies released by CMC on: December 05, 2018, 07:05:04 PM
CMC has recented released the Top 10 Cryptocurrencies and the result is surprising.

XRP has beaten Ethereum.
Steller has beaten Bitcoin Cash.
Tron has beaten Cardano

What do you think?

Nothing is absolutely new about this post. The position of the coins on the market is not permanent. It happens frequently depending on the volume of trading experienced within a period of time. This is normal please.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Supporting new projects can lead to a better future. on: December 05, 2018, 06:53:19 PM
In a society that faces psychological pressure, depression and anxiety.. I think that humans should leave aside the selfishness and lower the urge to make profit out anything and start supporting projects that can increase their overall well-being. I think we all wish a better future for our children. Don't you?
Are you currently investing in any project? What's that about?
It is very advisable to have something on ground for the future. This is not limited to supporting new projects. Most new projects today even pose a higher risk than the existing ones. I suggest you verify the new project before dropping a penny on it.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think mining is still fair on: December 05, 2018, 06:49:47 PM
In Q3 2018 market is still a blood bath. A lot of people that involved in crypto losing theirs hopes on a quick moon. ICO market is down. But difficulty of mining is growing up. We need more powerful processors, GPU and so on. Mining was created to give ordinary people get some free coins. Another hand big companies joint into monster to dig more digital gold. Simple person is out of this business. To support a node of ethereum you need more space every month and you get no reward. Do you think its fair enough or we need some new architecture to give mining a new life?
The mining business has lost it huge profit returns it used to generate. Those who benefitted from it are those early guys. The process is now too difficult with even lesser rewards.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hope for hodlers on: December 05, 2018, 06:43:32 PM

If we see BTC at $3k, I won't be surprised but when the moon and bull runs start..

It will be as eagles soar on the sky high
We should not always assume that each price drop in the cryptocurrency market will be followed by a price increase. Note that for the price to rise, people need to place demand to buy. But now, a lot of people are aware that buying at those high prices is always a disadvantage. Even the new comers to the market are now better oriented than before. The huge excitement of jumping in at high prices is no longer there.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dwindling of Ethereum Price and its Effects on ICO Projects on: December 05, 2018, 06:34:00 PM
As the past few months has been about the dwindling in the price of ethereum and bitcoin. It has had a grave effects on the ICO projects which base their soft and hard card on Ethereum. The recent Ethereum market has experienced much rises and falls but the fall has been in a very large extent compared to the rise in the price.
Some project started and cap Ethereum price at USD1,000 but the price is currently below USD200 which can lead to failure to meet up with the caps set bet those projects.
What do you think can be the way outs for such projects?
It has no doubt been a turbulent season for ICO projects. This brings us back to the point that project teams should not rely on ICO funds for their projects. They should have a base capital before thinking of floating any token project. We have seen so many successful projects without token sales. So, the issue of reaching hardcap or softcap shouldn't be a factor. The would-be investors can always get your tokens from the exchange of your project is good.
