41  Economy / Economics / Re: Was Crypto Started by Western Elites? on: December 05, 2018, 06:25:22 PM
Please discuss!

I do not have direct evidence either way, but I have come to the conclusion that, if Bitcoin did not exist, the Western elites would have liked to create it in secret.  My indirect evidence includes:

- Bitcoin has not been killed by a combination of regulation, market manipulation, and propaganda after 10 years.  As turbulent as the price has been, Bitcoin has been an excellent long-term bet.  Whatever assault it has suffered, it always seems to survive.

- Bitcoin has taken demand away from gold and silver, which traditionally are the big threats against central bank money.

- If central banks secretly own lots of Bitcoin (we still don't know who really owns "Satoshi's bitcoins!") they will have the best of both the gold-standard and fiat worlds in the future.  (I will explain this when I have time.)
I quite support your view due to my own observations, although stand to be corrected. It is a fact that anything not invented, or liked or supported by the likes of US, Great Britain and France, they all go out to either ridicule or destroy it. This has not happened to Bitcoin despite its ten years of existence.
42  Economy / Economics / Re: Would blockchain technologies continue Its development without cryptocurrency? on: December 05, 2018, 05:34:35 PM
As we all know chain block technologies are the foundation of the cryptocurrency and chain block technologies can develop without the cryptocurrency.

Is this possible happen in the future? If so, how?
As we have seen today, the whole blockchain technology revolves around cryptocurrency. Without cryptocurrency as the driving force, some people or organizations may drop the development.
43  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Cryptocurrency threatens governments on: December 04, 2018, 02:31:26 PM
The government are just threatened with the fact that once cryptocurrency becomes mainstream, the revenues they generate through banking transactions will be all gone. They want to continue feasting on us.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We can’t trust anyone! on: December 01, 2018, 11:58:39 PM
Hey guys. Remember, in crypto sphere we can’t trust anyone! ICO rating sites are lying to us, you have to do YOUR OWN RESEARCH always! Remember this, and don’t let yourself be scammed!
The best thing for anyone to avoid falling prey to this ICOs is to do personal research and verification about a given project. If possible, try to know the date the sites of all the project partners were created.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bill gates says cryptocurrency is bad on: December 01, 2018, 11:58:10 PM
The fact that Bill gates condemns or says cryptocurrency is bad doesn't make it bad. We should all believe in cryptocurrency and ignore whatever one single person says about it.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do NEO have any future? on: December 01, 2018, 11:55:45 PM
The future of NEO is as solid as that of ETH, WAVES or any other altcoin within its ranks. I see it to be a coin that will compete with every other throughout the cryptocurrency future, it can never be pushed aside.
47  Economy / Economics / Re: Who is really hopeful about the future of Bitcoin and why? on: December 01, 2018, 11:53:09 PM
Who is really hopeful about the future of Bitcoin and why?
Being hopeful about the future of bitcoin is an understatement for me, I am very passionate about it. I have this strong believe due to the fact that of the total world population, only few persons currently have bitcoin, and we have just 4 million left. That means there will be further demand in future.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You can start all over again on: November 30, 2018, 11:48:35 PM
Crypto sphere is like a hell to some now,but i want to encourage everyone caught up in the pool of loss that you can start all over again. The level of dip we’ve had in this bear market has cost a lot of people almost everything they have worked for.I know many are at the point of giving up and turning their back on crypto sphere, believe me you can start all over again. The ability to rise when you fall is all you need to get back on your feet again. In life, every challenges comes with opportunity. If you can search deep, even in this bear market, crypto sphere is full of opportunity that can get you back on your feet,it is only a matter of time.I believe you can start all over again.
Starting all over again is usually a hard thing. Sometimes you will need something that can motivate you and give you extra assurance that continuing with more investment in crypto won't lead you to additional losses.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: My bounty story (5.99eth) on: November 30, 2018, 11:45:21 PM
Dear newbies, i wanted to inspire you about my bounty experince in signature campaign. Im just a rank member, i join a lot of sig bounty but im always dissapointed because almost of the bounty that i joined is always a failed project.

Until i met bountyhive.io , i used to join on their signature campaign which is cool cousins. That project became so successful which about to hit its hardcap. Then one day signature bounty ends Im so surprise for what i got on their bounty reward it gives me 22,612.5 cuz which like 5.99ETH its my first time to receive for that high ammount of reward and planning to hold that coin because it got a big potential.

Patience is the key if you believe on what you are doing then just continue it, even if you fail many times dont back down just believe that oneday crypto and bounty projects will give you instant jackpot! Just be patient like me :-)

I hope this could motivate and inspire you. Thank you for reading.
This is a very great achievement you got from bounty campaign, and also coming from a credible bounty management system of bounty hive. I really trust those guys. I am working hard for my reward too from them. Patience truly pays and it's the right key.
50  Economy / Economics / Re: Philippines starting to accept and adopt cryptocurrency. on: November 25, 2018, 11:17:41 PM
Cryptocurrency transactions has been on the rise in the philippines.

They are already accepted 5 cryptocurrency company in the country and approximately planning to give license for atleast 25 companies to operate in the philippines.

With the current government administration they are starting to adopt and build even in the technological infrastructure.

In more years to come the country will be more open to blockchain technology like japan and other countries.
This is a very positive news, the type we all wish to hear during a bloodbath period like this. At least, it gives us a kind of hope that no matter want is happening now, there is still a future for cryptocurrency.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be contented with what you have on: November 25, 2018, 09:15:44 PM
Slow and steady they say wins the race. Do not be in a haste to make it big in the crypto world. There is never a shortcut to success. Be contented with whatever you gain at every point in time.
Do not look down on yourself because you see others make it big. A drop of water makes a mighty ocean.
Your gain might seem to be small today.
Your portfolio might not look so big.
Just in a moment and with little more patience, your portfolio will see the brightest light and be filled above your imaginations.
Very true and great concept. If you start having the feeling of been left behind simply because your friend has made more than you in crypto, and decide to make hasty decisions, you might make costly mistakes that will ruin you with maybe more losses.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Spirit of Bounty Hunting on: November 25, 2018, 09:10:51 PM

4. Spirit of perseverance
As a bounty hunter, you should not allow yourself to get tired or go weary, because of the present situation of things. Always look beyond the present time. Look into what the future hold.

The list continues...
This one strikes me most. It is to me, the most important virtue for bounty hunting. You are sure going to face numerous disappointments in campaigns. You will get even zero stakes for articles you think you have written greatly. But your ability to always put such behind and focus on more campaigns is the key to succeeding in bounty hunting.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I currently have 5 ETH. I should buy an ICO on: November 25, 2018, 09:05:52 PM

I currently have 5 ETH. I should buy an ICO. I need advice from you. please give me a list of trusted ico

The question I also have for you is that, what are your real intentions? I honestly believe this is a personal issue. You can either do what you want. But I would have prefer you hold the ETH and invest with a different money if available.
54  Economy / Economics / Re: Very stable BTC dominance on: November 23, 2018, 11:59:45 PM
Since the dump from 6500$ (and actually since sept.) btc dominance has been very stable, around 53%.
However it appears previous bear market phases always had an impact on the indicator.

How do you explains this at all?
Bitcoin has always dominated the market right from inception. 53% dominance is no longer surprising. This has always been the range of its fair share in the market. BTC gave birth to every other coin we have today.
55  Economy / Economics / Re: So many cryptocurrencies ! on: November 23, 2018, 11:58:30 PM
This is the point I have always argued too. We simply have a bunch of useless coins or tokens that I cannot explain what they are meant for. There has to be a way to stop this coins from popping up frequently. People just wake up, create a token, sell the quantity they feel is enough for them, and leave the rremaining trash in the market.
56  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you feel about market regulation? on: November 23, 2018, 06:40:09 PM
I partly support the regulation of cryptocurrencies. It is when someone has something hidden that he or she will be scared of any authority. Moreover, it will help to combat crypto frauds.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto market in depression on: November 23, 2018, 12:01:27 AM
The crypto market is on a rapid downward spiral and almost all coins including so called good coins are down in prices. Is there any chances the market will recover? In my opinion, it takes the end of the year 2018 to recover the market. What are your views?
As for me I don't think there is any recovery of the market in sight. It will only take a special miracle for the market to recover in this year 2018.
58  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto adoption on: November 21, 2018, 08:32:42 PM
If crypto does gain massive adoption and you are able to pay for things in crypto, there would be less of a reason for people to cash out into fiat. How would government collect taxes from crypto gains then? Also, if something like ETH becomes big, how is the government gonna stop people from making pyramids, ponzis, and scams in general?
Taxes will still be collected by the government as there will be receipts or invoices used to executive payments even with the cryptocurrency. I believe the government can come up with a good mechanism or strategy to ensure it collects every tax.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do bounty hunters become ICO investors? on: November 21, 2018, 08:27:32 PM
Icos look for bounty hunters to promote their project through the power of social media.Sometimes, some of these hunters also double as ico investors. But it looks like bounty hunters understand ICOs project and are able to determine very good projects before they invest because of their experiences in different projects.
Only one out of say ten bounty hunters you will find participating in ICO token sales. They may have a better knowledge of the good projects, but they hardly invest in them.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Many projects are dead? on: November 21, 2018, 08:24:37 PM

Currently on the coinmarketcap site only about 1590 projects compared to at times more than 1700 projects. They have left many projects without developers or scam projects. I personally invested in some of these projects and lost a lot of money like bitconect and centra. Do you trust the projects you are investing in and will keep them for a long time until they succeed or are they just looking for profit in the short term?
Most projects are long dead. Some never even made it to coinmarket  cap before they disappeared. One of such projects is ICTA, I  still have my dead tokens on OTCBTC exchange till date as it is no longer tradable. Bad loss.
