45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Deflationary tokens here and there on: July 31, 2019, 08:47:07 PM
What is going on with devs building deflationary coins and tokens here and there?
Bomb token was the first, now I'm seeing grenade, dynamite, ethplode etc ,why are they building these coins?its very alarming, for quick profit?
And everyone seem to be rushing these tokens, the fact is they have no real use case ,every single one of them, its just the deflationary thing only,I won't advice anyone to invest

After Bomb token every other deflationary token that came up are just copy cats and I just stay away from them. Was very lucky with Bomb as I invested and made huge profit
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to protect your wallet from hackers on: July 31, 2019, 08:42:53 PM
This is for those who use wallets with cheap transaction fee, such as ethereum based wallets.
There are some who cannot yet afford to purchase a hardware wallet. On that note, i have a suggestion on how your wallet can be safe from hackers. I have always noticed wallets that get easily hacked are those that are subject to public view.
Try as much as possible to have a separate cold wallet address that you do not copy and paste the private key, and neither do you share the address with anyone. You can use it to store most of your valuable coins.
Even if you want to transfer any coin or token to an address belonging to another person, first transfer it to your public wallet before sending it out.

The best method I normally use is to keep my Private key in a secret place only accessible by me, some one mention about using alphabets to represent the nos and I see that to also be a perfect one
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HOW TO IDENTIFY GOOD AND SOLID BOUNTIES on: July 31, 2019, 08:33:16 PM
Good Day Everyone,

Well, I know a lot of bounty hunters are frustrated and worn out mostly because most of the projects which they'd spent their precious time promoting ended up being scam projects. But hey, its too late to give up at this time, trust me.

So here are the little tips which I personally apply before participating in any bounty campaign, though, of course, it takes time, I feel its worth it.

1. THE TEAM BEHIND THE PROJECT
2. THE SOFT CAP AND HARD CAP (HOW REASONABLE IS IT?)
3. HAVE THEY RAISED ANY FUNDS BEFORE COMING PUBLIC?
4. ARE THEY PLANNING AN ICO, STO, OR IEO? IF IEO, THEN ON WHAT EXCHANGE?
5. WHO IS THE BOUNTY MANAGER? WHAT IS HIS TRUST LEVEL ON BITCOINTALK? WHAT IS THE SUCCESS RATE OF THE CAMPAIGNS HE HAD MANAGED? AND SO ON.

FEEL FREE TO ADD YOUR OPINIONS BELOW, I MIGHT JUST LEARN A THING OR TWO

You have already listed the most important aspects to consider in other to identify good and solid bounties. I would like to buttress more on no 5, there are BM that have that very keen eye for good projects, there is one in particular, have joined 5 of her campaigns and they have all paid massively very well
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could you recommend two good altcoins? on: July 31, 2019, 08:15:56 PM
Have always  believed that the best recommendation is that you gave yourself after you have made deep and thorough research but I will recommend you go for Ethereum and any other good altcoin which you have researched
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There are many scammers doing fake sales of Libra - example on: July 31, 2019, 09:56:44 AM
Watch out for scams! There are many scammers doing fake sales of Libra. Calibra-Token is one that was reported into AMLT Token Network. BTC address has collected 0.15408762 BTC so far and sent some funds to Kuna Exchange ETH address has collected 24.711337051007362 ETH in the last 2 weeks.

Recognized as a global leader in RegTech for blockchain, Coinfirm serves as a foundation for the safe adoption and use of blockchain. In addition, Coinfirm develops dedicated blockchain solutions such as the data provenance platform Trudatum that was recently integrated by the largest bank in CE.

Its oonly greed that will make most of us to fall for such. I am really interested in the Libra coin but am not putting a dime until an official announcement rightly from Facebook  itself
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Signature Campaign on: July 31, 2019, 09:53:41 AM
Can anyone suggest me a Good signature campaign to participate ?

Thanks !

Signature campaign has really helped most people to advance in their Crypto hustle, I would have recommended the one am wearing but it capped and not accepting new entries at the moment
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Favorite platform? on: July 31, 2019, 09:48:10 AM
If you are required to choose one platform, which one you will choose as the right choice. Platform Ethereum or Platform TRON? and explain the reason for choosing it. Thank you for your time. Smiley

Am a fan of  both the Ethereum and TRON platform, I use both interchangeably but have noticed that TRON has a very fast transaction speed but I use Ethereum platform more cos it user friendly and most project use it
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: trade makes me poor on: July 31, 2019, 09:42:41 AM
Are you frustrated when you experience defeat in trading? yes I experienced this ... I have lost $ 1000 dollars in the past 2 hours ... I did not switch with another coin and I just focused on the initial coin. but in fact I was still losing, in my opinion trading was not much different from gambling.

That was a great loss within a short period, normally I don't put such a huge amount to a particular coin, I split into bits and put in different coins,  one thing about trading is that it requires dedication, time and experience and monitoring. Sorry about your loss, always know to switch and also apply stop loss
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: if anyone hacked your account then who is responsible??? on: July 30, 2019, 09:04:29 PM
if I've created account/wallet on coinbase or any other exchange then my account is hacked and my coins/money lost who are responsible for it
The Exchange where I've created account Huh
is it my mistake Huh
what's you thought about it Huh

and how i make my account safe  Huh

I believe it is your mistake. Every exchange has an option to secure your acc by using  2fa or phone or email and when you fail not to do that and your account is hacked. You should be responsible for that
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do crypto trading bots really generate profits? on: July 30, 2019, 09:01:30 PM
I don't believe in all these bots, they show you fake volumes that are not real and so I see it as a way to defraud people and not generate any profit. I will rather stay very far away from them
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have lost 8 letters of my Ethereum private key on: July 30, 2019, 08:57:12 PM
Hi there
I have lost the last 8 letters of my ethereum wallet private keys. I wonder if there is a way to restore those letters. I searched the net and found out that it is possible to do it usuing a C or Python program.
If you know a way to solve my problem , please let me know
thanks

I don't think its possible but if your wallet was imported into the new version of Imtoken, it has an option to display your private key but if not. It will really be a tough one or rather an impossible one
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Happy Birthday ETH on: July 30, 2019, 08:51:45 PM
It is 30 july 2015 when ETH initially was released. Everyone here might have noticed the amazing work done by ETH team. It is all there efforts that ETH stands the second coin in Crypto coin List.

Though I haven't joined Crypto as of them but I join you in congratulating Eth as it has done so much for most. More Sucess story to Eth and the team behind it
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Are airdrops safe? on: July 30, 2019, 08:48:56 PM
The way they usually work is they give you some string and you sign it to prove you own the address.

Could a malicious air drop make a transaction sending all your BTC to them, and then you sign it, and then they broadcast it to the network?
Or is signing a message different than signing a transaction?

I can't recall any airdrop asking to sign in then when I was still into it, I stopped I don't see it any good again. Majority of Airdrops now are Scam. Don't sign in to anything for any Airdrop
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It's probably the oldest question but they still ask it? on: July 29, 2019, 05:23:54 AM
I have been here for a long time 4 years to be exact but I always stumble this question
"Is this the right time to buy Bitcoin or other top coins in the market" I found out it has been asked since Bitcoin was trading at $1
so when people will stop asking when is the right time to buy Bitcoin.

That question will surely come, for everyday new users join the Crypto world and I believe most times the questions do come from them and also even also even old members still ask same question just as a way to reassure themselves that maybe someone is thinking in the same direction as them
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Stake vs Fixed bounty allocation on: July 29, 2019, 05:20:20 AM
With stake allocation you can get more tokens based on the stake and how many participants join the bounty but that's that, the reason why I choose fixed allocation over stake is because right from the start you've know how much tokens you will get and the fact is merely looking or comparing bounties from one to another fixed bounty allocation performs better, they pays most times and no single participants is left out, what do you guys say about this?

I do with you on the fixed token allocation, it gives more clarity about what you are going into and no matter what happens you sure to get your token but on the stakes allocation no matter how good the project is, issues must surely come up
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The three biggest mistakes you should avoid on: July 29, 2019, 05:16:35 AM

  • Panic Buy/Panic sell.
In both cases, you will lose your money
  • Ignore Capital management.
If you ignore Capital management you will be gambler not trader
  • Following a signal Without risk assessment or stop loss.
You will be like Jumping into the ocean without a lifeline jacket at, before do anything, look at your risk and reward and what your stop level is.
by this way you can set Your Own risk and know what you do.

I like the no 3 point there, you know this has been one of the fallout most people experience in Crypto. it has really made so many loose huge sum in Crypto. And I will also like to add

4- don't join a project or ICO simply because your friends are doing it, make due diligence to research a project before you can join
