Some sites offer this service with the same Bitcoin Difficulty Estimator, what makes me trust the accuracy of the estimates? opensource and data update Sir, please explain to me the benefits and comparisons with sites that offer such services. The domain name has changed when I click on the link Is this a problem?
The link he posted was to diff.cryptothis.com. What domain are you seeing it change to? At the moment the code isn't open source per se but it's all front-end javascript for people to inspect. Nothing too fancy, just a couple basic extrapolation strategies. Data is updated live direct from my own bitcoin node.

Hey, thanks for using my site (and posting about it)!
|
|
|
Not sure how it used to look prior to this update but I really like that everything is in real-time. - Bookmarked.
On a side note: - You might want to pay attention to your expiration date:
Thanks! No worries, the domain auto-renews every June. More updates to the site coming soon!

I'm no developer but when I see job offers like this especially if it's a developer post, you have to be specific what kind of PL you'll use unless I don't know that there's one specific PL that most DeFi developers use. And since you have posted on this section, you are about to pay with an altcoins. With that, mind you include how much you'll pay, for the one that will take care of the post. I'm just suggesting though. The post title says "Vyper developers...", so I think it's safe to assume the PL is Vyper.

This weekend I installed my dish, spent a while failing to point it properly, and tonight finally succeeded getting a signal from the Galaxy 18 satellite feed! By far the hardest part for me was just getting the thing pointed properly to get my first signal in blocksat-rx-gui. Some helpful tips:
- I've read it's best to start with the elevation setting as it tends to be the more critical and finicky axis of alignment for such satellites. I made sure to get the j-mount pole as level as humanly possible so that the elevation gauge on the dish's mount would be of use. It helped to actually put the dish on the j-mount first, and then level. I initially tried leveling the mount by itself, but then mounting the dish to that ended up pulled things off-level a tiny bit. In hindsight, I suppose I could have also set the elevation using my level that has an adjustable angle dial, and computed the dish's proper elevation angle from it's specified offset angle. The dish mount's built-in gauge worked just fine for me (make sure to use the edge of the metal and not the nut on the bolt as your gauge indicator).
- For setting azimuth (left/right heading of the dish), I initially tried doing a rough alignment with my smartphone's compass, despite knowing it isn't super accurate and is prone to interference from all sorts of things. Surely a quality old-school compass would be better, though still affected by EM sources and magnetic materials... I'm a bit of an amateur astronomer, so I realized I could just use the stars and a good star charting app, assuming I had a clear night. I opened up my SkySafari app and looked for a bright star on or just east my target azimuth meridian. There wasn't a suitable star I could make out in my light-polluted Chicago skies, so I instead looked for a bright star further to the east of my target azimuth meridian and simply waited for good ol' Earth to rotate into alignment with it (about 30 minutes later). I then stood directly underneath my dish so that I could sight right down the LNB arm to aim the dish in the star's direction (azimuth-wise only, of course), and voila, my first signal in blocksat-rx-gui. Obviously if you have a roof-mount or little space below your dish, this technique may be difficult, but mine is mounted about 5 feet up on the side of my house, which made it super easy.

I'm still adding features to this, but here's my latest creation... I noticed that bitcoinwisdom's difficulty estimator seems to be broken lately, and fork.lol's estimator uses the average of the last 12 hours of blocks which causes some estimate oscillations, I decided to whip up my own. It's a live-updating visualization of all blocks in the current difficulty period, with some stats including a live projection of the next difficulty adjustment (using the average rate of all blocks mined so far in the current period). All times displayed are in your local time. Enjoy! CryptoThis - Live-Updating Bitcoin Difficulty Visualizer/Estimator - https://diff.cryptothis.com/Please let me know if you have any suggestions or features you'd like added. Thanks!

I'm gearing up to launch a new mining pool... I'm just curious which coin you all would suggest I launch first. Something new/small? I'm open to anything that has some demand or need for a new pool. Thoughts?
Second question...it looks like uNOMP is now no longer under development/support? Is there a better alternative these days? It's been a minute since I ran a pool...

Nice and new idea mate really nice, if you could put the donation links and addresses in a drop down menu just saying: donations. it should
Also be placed in the bottom of the screen not on top, maybe every few seconds a shooting star could pass by to make it cooler?
You should also make the rockets to have the volume of the coin as their fuel but like a liquid inside of each rocket and should be visible.
Like if a coin has low volume then it should have 1/4 of it's body filled with fuel.
Thanks for the suggestions...though I'm not sure why you think the donation addresses should be at the bottom? They seem just fine at the top to me...

How about make one responsive page where you can scroll down a lot so you can show more altcoin or another page for altcoin with lower price/market cap. But, i really like the design, simple and innovative . Thanks! Yeah, something like that is definitely on my radar, I'm hoping to find the time outside of work soon!

Any suggestions for the site?
It will be better to add translucent horizontal lines at regular intervals (such as 0b, 5b, 10b.etc). Also, please add a few more crypto-currencies, such as Stellar Lumens, Byteball, Dogecoin, Monero, and Torcoin. Another suggestion would be to order them by their market cap. Right now, BTC is followed by LTC and Dash. It could be in this order: BTC, ETH, XRP. Yeah, the horizontal lines are on my improvement list. As far as adding other currencies I'm just brainstorming the various ways I'd like to do it. Coming soon for sure!

Thank you to whomever made the bitcoin and ethereum donations! Much appreciated.
FYI I deployed a few minor bug fixes and tweaks to the site yesterday. More features coming soon!

Any suggestions for the site?
I'm planning to add more animation to the rockets and their exhaust, some more stats, and maybe make it configurable for the user (pick which coins to see).
