like this guy said above. i start with one and add another each time the prior starts hashing. if i load cg miner with all of them connected it just errors out kinda like what you posted.

In the last image I can see balls of melted solder.
This is an indication the temperature reached 180 and 190 °C (360 and 370 °F) at some point.
The thing being on fire is a temperature issue! Get a thermometer gun. Wink

this is why i have a temp gun and run them slower than most and stable. hardly any hw errors and a few rejects. a 100mh/s gain on each card isnt worth it imo, because if one goes out and you have an empty slot for a week or 2 you prolly take more than what that gain has given you.

iirc these ones were very early on and all you had to do was take off the heat sink short out 2 pins with a wire reattach heat sink and flash with rbe unlock method and once flashed you take it apart and take the wire out and your done. ok i will look into doing that. thanks.

hey guys im a new member here, but i have been browsing for a while. i am looking at getting back into mining since donating my coins in the very early days. i have been mining alts to convert to btc to get a miner and i need a little more i have 0.25btc lol. i have for sale my xfx 1gb 6950 thats unlocked to a 6970 and a asus gtx460 768mb. i have herd of escrow which people use for safety is fine if u set it up and pay the cost. im just getting back into the scene and have alot more to learn. these were used for casual gaming. 460 looks dusty as hell but ill clean it up some. feel free to pm me for any issues or questions.

xfx 1gb unlocked 6970  [SOLD]

asus 768mb gtx460 [SOLD]

i may consider offing my 2 7950s if the price is right, i have had these hashing away for about a month and temps have been 75c and under all the time. i pull about 480-550kh/s each at about an average 65c and 0 hw errors and accepted to rejected is very very small. SOLD

I am interested in selling the 7970's as well. im am looking for .8 btc shipped in the US Please do not waste my time on BS offers of .04 .05 ect. your obviously a lowballer and no one would sell them at that price. even if it was broken id rather have spare parts instead of selling them that low. Hell the shipping is going to be ~$20-$30. Just so you know if i get pm'd offers like that you may have a nasty reply from me.
453  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: is it too late to get involved on: January 22, 2014, 02:46:05 AM
its never too late until its over, but that may or may not happen. back when i first herd of it i thought what and how. i mined for a little and felt it wasnt worth my time/effort because the pc would have to stay on over night and i played games after work (cant mine and play games at the same time). long story short i didnt understand it at the time and i donated my coins and felt like it wouldnt do much, after i heard they were still around mid 2013 i was like damn thats cool. i mine alts and convert to to btc and after a while i only have .25 and im trying to work my way to to a decent miner (a guy wants .5 for a chili 36gh/s iirc) so i can support the network/idea/and community.
