1  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [06-07-2019] GateHub hacked, nearly $10 million has been stolen on: June 07, 2019, 06:29:37 AM
ÞE solution is to not allow third party API connections. These seem to be the root of all hacks so just prevent them and keep our coins safe instead
2  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-06-06]President of Brazil Jair Bolsonaro: ‘I Do Not Know What Bitcoin Is’ on: June 06, 2019, 08:23:16 PM
The president of Brazil is not a forward thinking person. With a population that size they should be competing with China but they are just a bunch of economic n00bs who will go no-where except the beach.
3  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-06-04] Bitcointopia Founder Sentenced To 21 Months In Prison on: June 05, 2019, 06:52:41 AM
These scammers never seem to learn. But this is a warning to all the future bitconnect creators where greedy pyramid schemers con innocents out of their hard earned savings
4  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-01-05] Twitter User Relates Owning 1 Bitcoin [BTC] To Having 700 Acres on: June 04, 2019, 06:44:23 AM
Scarcity plays a big part of in the future price of bitcoin. There is only 21 million bitcoins with 1m locked by Satoshi and millions more being carelessly lost forever. This comparison is a good one
5  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-06-03] Cryptopia Files For US Bankruptcy Protection on: June 04, 2019, 06:41:55 AM
These guys have been trading for such a long time it is a joke for them not to be prepared for such an event. Do they not know what cold storage is!?
6  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-06-04] Bitcoin (BTC) Price Declines Sharply on: June 04, 2019, 06:37:06 AM
Kind of good in a way, people know where it is going as a long term trend and this major blip will give them an opportunity to join us at a good price point
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [2019-06-03] BTC-Skeptic Buffet to Host $4.37M Lunch w/ Justin Sun on: June 04, 2019, 06:35:12 AM
Not just tat poison squared, it is also a sea shell that just sits there doing nothing! We should thank Justin sun for trying to bring buffet to the crypto table, this is a big deal
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [2019-06-04]SEC’s New Decision A Reprieve, Ripple (XRP) Falter on: June 04, 2019, 06:31:24 AM
All crypto projects have grand visions but few have the ability to make them a reality. Ripple certainly has potential but haven't managed to convince the big names yet.
9  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-05-03] Which cyptocurrency to use for payments? on: May 31, 2019, 03:51:49 PM
This is a useful chart, I guess bitcoin cash is described as an altcoin so it is missing from the diagram. Could do with another diagram showing which alts to use e.g. litecoin, Montero, etc..
10  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-05-31]Bitcoin and Top Altcoins See Losses as US Stock Market Sees Slight U on: May 31, 2019, 03:44:13 PM
This is going to be a very short lived drop in price. Anyone who feels like they have missed out on the bull run had better take this opportunity to buy now on this big dip
11  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-05-29] Taotao: Yahoo-Backed Exchange Enters Japan Market on: May 30, 2019, 03:26:54 PM
Japan is a huge market, I would be surprised if one day it was competing with binance for the number one spot. Japan is more crypto friendly than china so they don't have to move HQ
12  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-05-30] A China Bond Sell-Off Could Send BTC, ETH, XRP, LTC To New Highs on: May 30, 2019, 03:16:56 PM
If trump continues to play hardball china could dump their dollars and send it plunging across the financial markets. Everyone would rush into bitcoin triggering a massive bull run
13  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-05-30] Coinstar Expands to 2,200 Locations ‘Overwhelming’ Bitcoin De on: May 30, 2019, 03:10:24 PM
Overwhelming demand even crypto isn't mainstream yet. Coinstar is going to be a mega crypto company one day, like the binance of the ATM world
14  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-05-27] South Africa President’s Son Wears Bitcoin Socks on: May 29, 2019, 03:41:42 PM
They are just a bunch of corrupt greedy officials looking to get some crypto from anywhere. Most likely they will convert it to xmr and just hide their shocking wealth
15  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-05-29] How Seamless Crypto Swaps Could Facilitate the Mass-Market Adoption on: May 29, 2019, 03:37:01 PM
Atomic swaps will be the death of exchanges like binance. Who will buy BNB and then trade at high fees when they can just swap it using an atomic swap service
16  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-05-20] EtherDelta receive Cryptopia hacker funds on: May 23, 2019, 08:38:03 PM
What the heck are they going to do in etherdelta, it is just a shit exchange that trades in shitcoins. Good for holders of crap that are desperate to sell their worthless tokens, but then getting stolen eth isn't much better either
17  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-05-23] Monfex’s Analyst offers more support for a Bitcoin bull market on: May 23, 2019, 08:36:26 PM
Bitcoin is struggling to get past $8000 but when it does, i can see it hitting $20k again in a matter of weeks. The FOMO this time around is going to be wild and $20k is going to sound like peanuts when it goes parabolic into 6 figures
18  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-05-22] Dutch Authorities Shut Down Bestmixer on: May 23, 2019, 08:33:10 PM
It wasn't necessary as it will only make things harder to trace. Hackers will simply convert their stolen funds into monero and other privacy coins and it will be impossible to follow what happens next after that
19  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-05-21] Is Banking Culture Slowing Down Blockchain Adoption? on: May 23, 2019, 08:30:26 PM
Crypto will destroy the banking industry so they are not going to rush into it. Even ripple hasn't been taken up by major banks, just the smaller ones. They should start accumulating bitcoin or be left with some worthless paper
20  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-05-24] Red Flags Points To HitBTC Insolvency on: May 23, 2019, 08:24:01 PM
Hopefully hitbtc will be around for a lot longer. Although some people dislike it and claim to have problems withdrawing funds, i have yet to experience any of those issues. Haven't tried it recently, but in the past it was always worked without any issues
