OMG i just realised that once this hit a big exchange like cryptsy it could be worth so much more then it's going for now. I think i'll mint the shit out of it for a wile and see what it brings me after the first year.  Cryptsy is peace of crap. The delays for deposits and withdrawals takes hours, days, weeks. Do we need to give them our minted coin to trade with and earn money for themselves. Today they removed DOGE from trade charts without any warning. Now it's back it seems. They are stressing customers a lot. Am still waiting for deposit almost 3 days. I am against Cryptsy!!! This coin must have that poise. There are many other big exchanges around. Lets land Mintcoin trades in an friendly for user environment. P.S.Of course, no one can forbid them add Mintcoin to trades. +1 Just lost 24 hours of my life dealing with crypsty, utter joke of a site |

Just a quick heads up, was moving some various coins around today and had the utter misfortune to deal with cryptsy on one - I would be amazed if this hasn't been said already so apologies if i missed it already but i did so i have wasted a whole day with support tickets, missing withdrawals, no response to support tickets and still now 12 hours later missing 10K doge.

Read their blog post about the oversize doge wallet. You'll have to generate a new wallet address. That way, you'll have to wait half a day instead of a full day.  Annoyingly i did, and generated a new address but still fell foul somehow! Lesson learnt for me, just hope they pay me back my 10K |

The problem is clearly the .conf file.
If you don't do the tweak on windows, your .conf file is a .conf.txt file, even if you don't notice the .txt, and so it didn't work. In your "file option" in windows, you should uncheck the 'hide extension for known files", and then remove the .txt extention that appears.
The other option is to copy someone-else file in your folder.
Ha, been bugging me all day this, its always something obvious! just follow the above if you sync issues! Cheers!!! |

A question to OP : Do you have some sort of plan for the future of the coin ? Like how to promote it, when you gonna go for exchanges etc etc ? If you do please share it with us so who wants can help Of course, we have a plan (and so far, everything goes well according to it)! But nothing beats the community support. Spread the word people! Also add your MINT address in your signature. We're going to send coins randomly. Do everything you can to promote the coin! any ideas on the wallet sync issues, anything i can look for in the debug, been hours and no sync here |

If this doesn't do it I don't know how to fix it. It's Saturday morning, so if I've made some mistakes let me know. I'll be here watching the Olympics tried it, still no connection, getting fed up with this, 12 hours and no connection? I'd leave the wallet open in the background for a while. I've had wallets it took hours to sync while others got it working without any problems. Wait for the Dev to pop up or maybe someone else will post another solution. You can check it on the website of the pool you are mining with. Or in the debug window in the wallet you type this(it has to be synced to display correct diff); . There are still some who can't sync? Before you try this you have to backup your wallet.dat! Do this via the QT to be sure the backup is not corrupt. - Delete everything in your roaming-folder except for your wallet.dat(BACK UP YOUR WALLET FIRST) Your roaming-folder is located here; C:\Users\*YOURPCNAME*\AppData\Roaming. Change *YOURPCNAME* with the name of your computer. - Launch the MINT QT and close it right away. Go back to the roaming folder and make this our .conf; testnet=0

CPUs on Quarkcoins, GPUs on dogecoins.
Had the I3's on Quark for a few days (240 Kh/s per machine) but was only getting a handful a day may just fire them back up then? |

Evening all,
Newbie here just wondering what peoples thoughts are on the below,
I have 6 I3/I5 machines and an I5 with an R9 270x currently running stable 420 KH/s on litecoin pool which just isn't really worth it now.
(no power/running costs for any)
Any suggestions on a particular coin (or variety) to go after using all 7 machines??
Any advice appreciated.
