Whats going on Bter, got that nervous feeling it could be a costly mistake having coins there.

poloniex c2 is still frozen, correct? I have read earlier that it was unfrozen..
All Exchanges' C2 are frozen until Trading resume. However, exchanges either let you generate new C2 addr ( Poloniex and NXT-e ), or auto convert for you ( Bittrex and Bter ). Don't know about the Chinese exchange and the newer one which I never deal with them..at least not yet. Just to clarify, do i need to do anything with my old C2 at poloniex, will they auto exchange them? |

Ok good and bad news...
We made Coin2.0 with 60 mil coins instead of 50 mil. We did this because in Proof of Stake a 51% is possible. It is very expensive but possible. So we needed extra Coin2.0 to make sure no one could buy the majority (51%) of Coin2.0. We figure about 8 mil is enough to keep aside for security. We also had to cover the amounts that the 3 exchanges lost during the attack and would like to have a few for bounties for Android wallet and coin2.0j. However, we are only at 42 million +/- old C2 transfered right now. We still have to cover the exchanges for what they lost and we will have a better idea tommorrow night. However, if we do not have more people transfer we will have a surplus of +/- ~ 8 million Coin2.0.
What should we do with this surplus?
1. Would you guys like this to be distributed to you, the users?
2. Save for future development?i.e. Android wallets, multipool, advertisement
3. Faucets/Giveaways?
Please comment.
I believe those who stood by Coin2 should be rewarded the most. Without the communities support this project could have very well fallen apart. In the same token future development and faucets/giveaways are important so here is my solution. 70% Option 1 15% Option 2 15% Option 3 I feel this would be the fairest way to distribute the surplus. I think this gets my vote, could look to move it 1. 50% 2. 30% - 3. 20% |

Ok, All done here, remaining coins are now sent to bittrex, i also have coins sat on Poloniex and Bter, Old wallet is empty so hopefully the exchanges will now do the rest and we are back on track Great work |

And what will happen to bter ballances?
I have 30k@bter ... is this safe after relaunch? Or will my coins vanish and I will lost ~70 $ ..?
Bter will unfreeze Coin2 withdrawals and you will be able to transfer them to your Bittrex Coin2 account. Please remember, we understand that he situation is fluid and nothing as far a time frame goes is set in absolute stone. We will be monitoring closely for any problems that people are having. Ok, I have created an account with Bittrex, I have coins in my wallet, Poloniex and BTer. So my understanding is Poloniex and Bter will un-suspend withdrawals at your request and and announcement will be made here? I then have to transfer all coins to bittrex, Can we transfer directly from poloniex/bter to Bittrex or should it all go back to my wallet then into Bittrex as single transaction? Once i have all coins in Bittrex these will then be swapped on a 1:1 to the new version as some form of trade? Thanks |

Updated to 1.7 yesterday, deleted everything except wallet.
Added nodes in conf file
Downloaded full blockchain.
But it seems stuck/extremely slow once it hits 1425 remaining.
Also I have hundreds of transactions all dated 06/04/2014 that are "mined" but unconfirmed.
Any ideas ?

I think those are probably unconfirmed PoW blocks. Just let them work themselves out and it should be fine. Yeah, it strange, now its seems to hop from synced to 1430 remaining every few mins..  All the 06/04/2014 remain unconfirmed regardless. |

is this just on c2 withdrawal? i have been using them for a while without any issues so far. I have a fair few sat there which i was going to shift to poloniex. I was in the new trollbox last night and people were complaining about all coins having withdrawal pending then mine did also  Hmmm. I spotted that but all mine have gone through so far to date. Are we talking exchange to wallet or exchange to exchange? Will try a 9999 shift to wallet first and see how it goes... |

Wallets still dry...  Was this giveaway under a time constraint? Was waiting for the fix before posting the wallet on the giveaway thread... I am waiting for our TWC moderator to come and start the giveaway. Why should someone run the wallet if there is no more coins to mine? Who will secure the network?
You need own 51% coin to attack. How is the "mining" working? What determinates who mines the next block? It's not important. The important thing is how many coins you have in your wallet. More you have , more you will gain. For instance, COMM has 30% interest for the first year, so you will get ~850 COMM per day if you have 100mil COMM in your wallet. +1 1447.970958 COMM mined in the last 2 days |
