For me the safest ways to store your bitcoin is using an offline wallet which can be free of web network intuders while you store it's amount. That is the best option to do and because of that certain ways of keeping bitcoin safe, there will be no possibilities of hackers to attack your wallet due to connections to web is not present. I also have a personal plans to use an offline wallet aside from the on I am using right now and I can see a bigger advantages of this compared from the one I am using right now.

Saving bitcoin to your wallet for few years you can make a lot of profit for sure.
But it depends if the bitcoin pump or dump. Your lucky if after few years the price will increase more but what if they not increase wasting time.

This thing will only work if you have invested in bitcoins in such a low price like back when 700$ and he waited untill this price range so he double and almost tripled his money,there is no guarantee that you can double your money in 6months  Yes of course the guaranteed ways to double your bitcoin now is the investments that you had on your wallet if you really have at least 10$, because that 700$ can only be attained by those bigger whales. There's nothing wrong on dreaming of bigger price and if you are earning good income form btc campaigns here with bitcointalk, that served as your investments and that's possible to happen generating that bigger btc on your wallet. Hard to believe $3000 has been such a dream just a few months ago!  I also didn't expect the $3000 level to become reality this year, and especially not in January this year, but we are very close. Precisely speaking (for what it's worth), OKCoin just peaked over $3040 in both its CNY and USD platforms. It's now waiting for western exchanges to pick up, but that might take a while now Chinese exchanges don't have any leading role anymore. Not yet there, but it seems its gonna climb to that soon. Let's just hope the future corrections would be minimal. Yes I think you're right at this certain thinking mate, I see were not yet there to have $3000 of bitcoin price and although the signs of progress is there in every price changes in the market; not assurance for us that $3000 will be reach while price corrections is always struggling. Upon ready the market analysis, it's been predicted there's price dump and said that after the dumping, price will soon to rise like going to the moon many have said. Well as of thr moment I must agree, because looking at the previous history of bitcoin all smaller price records, there it happens that buying demand increased and the price rises more than its top price. The price at around $2000 plus, so I must hope for another price spikes and also possible dumps will happen again then after that, price will recover again.
