Burnside

I just wanted to say I admire how you handled this whole shutdown. You obviously planned it way in advance and gave everyone more than ample opportunity to get their affairs in order. It must be disappointing for you to have to do this, you had one of the best BTC marketplaces on the webbernets.

Are you planning any new Bitcoin projects?

This bullshit with Friedcat revealing important plans to some people before telling the rest of the shareholders is just unacceptable. I'm selling my shares, fuck this.  Angry
23  Economy / Auctions / Re: Buying ASICMINER shares, Flat price on: October 21, 2013, 09:09:09 AM
I've already bought 55 shares as of today, actually.
Not at 0.3 you didn't.
24  Economy / Auctions / Re: 200 Asicminer direct shares on: October 10, 2013, 05:18:18 AM
I pull my bid out. I know it is an asshole move but it is better than not being able to pay and delaying the auction even more.
WTF dude, pay that man his money

Deposits. Are they working? How many confirmations before my BTC shows up in my wallet?
26  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER Speculation Thread on: September 10, 2013, 09:13:21 AM
Back to what matters, Guys the hashrate is getting low again Sad. This time to critical levels something like 30TH or something....

You're looking at the wrong estimate. The only number that matters is the Last 30 hours. 10 hours is not enough, it swings wildly all the time just due to luck. Sometimes it's 120 TH and sometimes it's 0. Ignore that one, just focus on 3 days or 7 day averages.

So I should just hold on to them shares? It's drop to around 2 BTC now....geesh

Nope

You should be buying more shares! AM on SALE BUYBUYBUY  Grin

Party is over. Pack it up, let's go home guys! Friedcat can't even keep his measly 50 TH/s up anymore. AM is dead.
29  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER Speculation Thread on: August 21, 2013, 08:40:24 AM
Has anyone noticed the AM hash rate: http://blockchain.info/pools
Shocked
Nice, but let's see if it keeps up or if it's just variance.

Looks like it's just variance. The lower AM's share of the total hash rate, the higher the variance.

What's happening, why are we not shipping block eruptors yet?  Huh
31  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER Speculation Thread on: August 13, 2013, 09:44:52 AM
Why is the AM hash rate not going up yet? They are shipping blades but still only doing about 40GH/s

I mean, come on fellas!  Wink
32  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official ASICMINER Hardware Information on: August 09, 2013, 10:10:32 AM
YAY!  Grin
33  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER Speculation Thread on: July 24, 2013, 11:05:02 PM
lol everyone selling at 4 or 4.2 are gonna cry in about 2 weeks when the blades send dividends through the roof!
34  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER Speculation Thread on: July 23, 2013, 04:21:04 AM
AM used to hold 35-40/45 % of the network.

Er... no. There are only a few days where AM went above 30% and it has NEVER held 40% or 45%.

The all-time average is 20%.

That only helps prove my point so sure.

Amazing cognitive dissonance right here.

Splitting the stock 10:1 would mean more work for Friedcat moving shares around so I am against it.

[offtopic]

June 2013 was the 340th consecutive month of above-average global temperatures.

Yes because the last 100 years as a sample size is all we need to determine AGW as fact.
Could you guys PLEASE stop this shit. Nobody wants to hear about your global warming crap. Take it elsewhere.
38  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: July 18, 2013, 11:29:17 PM
asicminer doesnt have a future

eventualy the block reward will half and so will dividends

Eventually transaction fees will exceed the block reward. There's still several years before the next block reward halving.

Your explanation shows a disregard in accepted logic in order to leap to your conclusion.

Please explain?

It also implies that TAT.AM can be worth less than zero, which is obviously impossible.

No it does not! My model simply calculates TAT.AM as being worth exactly 95% of the full AM shares if you buy and hold forever. There's no way it can be worth less than zero with my model.

You can put any numbers you want into my model, you'll never get a negative valuation for TAT.AM
