Is the ram 8gb stick or 2x 4gb?

I’m a very new poster here but I’ve been GPU mining for a while. I’ve been hesitant to take the plunge with ASIC hardware because none of the resellers I’ve seen floating around felt legit. I decided to take a chance with these guys and I’ve been super pleased with the way they’ve handled everything.

Even though they are just starting up and seem to be flooded with business/orders (good problems to have), they’ve taken care of all my issues quickly. I received my 10x kit today.  I had some questions re: the power unit so I called in and got someone on the phone immediately. Due to a misunderstanding, I managed to fry a component. After a few minutes on the phone they offered to send me a replacement at no charge. This is the type of service that makes a small new vendor stand out in a crowd.

I can’t recommend them enough…..again, I know I’m new and I’m sure some people will be skeptical about taking advice from someone they don’t’ know…but try ordering from them and I’m sure you’ll be pleased/impressed as well.

If anyone has any questions about my experience, feel free to drop me a PM here, email me via my address in my profile, or reply here.

Shilling.

Shilling?...really?, I guess you didn't read the other thousand posts of positive feedback for GAW as a new company on the scene....oh wait am I shilling too? heaven forbid!

Instead of accusing people for giving positive feedback, why don't you see for yourself and then YOU can be called for shilling as a dedicated customer from an awesome company.

You can accuse anyone with a one word response of Shilling, but hey, if they are doing what they say and people are extremely happy with them...why are you so skeptical? do you have a side business in china as a competitor somewhere?

You can always call China at 3am and hope some guy in his basement understands your order.

Just my 2BTC Smiley - sorry if I like people who deliver on their promises...I am a fan.

Also for dealing with China at 3am is complete bull. I deal with clients in Asia for my job and personal business and China's business hours are typically 4pm-12Pam PST .

I have nothing against GAW except for the spamming on this forum. I like what they're doing with ASIC sales but I'll point out shilling when I see it.
44  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [INSTOCK in California] Selling Gridseed Asics. Ship from California. [$235] on: March 21, 2014, 09:41:45 PM
Arrived today, more love for ZH  Grin   Thanks!

I agree! I know your having fun right about now! lol, hope mine come before weekend here. I have the one I got last week to play with and these things are awesome little machines. Now if I can find some buyers for a nice little GPU farm Ill start converting over  lol

Like we talked about, this is what's scares me: http://www.coindesk.com/scrypt-asic-race-intensifies-knc-scores-2m-preorders/ these will rock the mining world as we now know it. Unless of course you have deep pockets and can snag a couple Smiley

I still think I may hang on to GPU and CPU farm, seems they keep finding a new purpose lol and ya cant mine scyrpt-jane, n scrypt or use any of the other custom miners like vert etc, with these units (I tried a few pools for fun and giggles) so I guess time will tell.... In the mean time lets get what we can!

Titan is powerful, however, they will not be able to relase their machine in Q2 2014.  They will have first batch of test chips ready in May/June,  so a full functional product release is still a loooooong way.

Q2 is almost here, we'll see these machines on pools soon enough and in public hands a few months later. Gridseed will be obsolete by then.

A lot and I mean a lot of new users posting positive things about this company. I'm certain they're legit but a lot of shilling is happening... Mods should clean up this thread.

Also please note, they charge a $20 unrack and ship fee per hosted miner. There pricing is all over the price... I've decided to go with a different reseller.
47  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: (In Stock) Gridseed USB miners - $189.95 Plus Free Hosting and Electricity! on: March 18, 2014, 10:01:15 PM
I decided to do some more research into the company and they seem legit! I've heard of GAW.com before, had a few customers use their ISP.

Will be placing a large order tonight.

Taking the plunge on 1 unit via PayPal. Hopefully it arrives Cheesy

For anyone wondering, my cost to obtain these and sell them at cost would be $188... So this is definitely a good price

A photo of my rig running 6 of these

http://files.idatasys.net/IMG_1240.JPG

I have two rigs running in this configuration (plus technically a third rig, which I sold to a friend also running with 6 risers)

Another photo showing the rigs in the "standing up" position:

That is a pretty sweet looking case! Did you design the case yourself?
55  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 10,400khs+ Scrypt farm for sale. Also have (6) R9 290 GPUS on: March 14, 2014, 11:10:48 PM
An investor could buy the equivalent in gridseed ASICs and only use 100W for the same price.

Not correct.

Correct, it would actually be $1000 cheaper than your asking price.

Anyways, does it come with the motherboard, psu etc? Can you list the specs of each? I am interested.

I wasn't disputing the price, I have no idea, but there is no way they would only use 100watts.

Yes these units are complete and ready to go.

They use MSI 990fxa motherboards, 4gb ddr3 and a dual core 25w amd processor.

As I mentioned eirlier, one unit has (6) 6950 cards and the other 3 units have (6) R9 270S

Are you firm on the price? The gridseeds would actually use 288watts total, not 100watts.

I really do think I am being fair on the price, but I will consider offers, as I need the money.

Also I calculate about 1000w at the chip for equivalent grid seed. Or about 1250 at the wall

I'll make a offer later today via PM

btw Gridseed takes 8watts * 36 units = 288watts for 10800hash

58  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [GRIDSEED US ONLY] Free Express Shipping from CHINA, $185-210/unit, no bullshit on: March 14, 2014, 10:39:35 PM
Personally, I would be wary, this points to a US seller or someone in China trying to pull a quick one... A little research, would make you feel wary too.

Grin please share your research results with us.

I simply want to sell gridseed miners at reasonable price to US customers.
Pull a quick what? Just because I am not as greedy doesn't mean I am less genuine .

I buy from Gridseed directly, not from their chinese reseller, therefore I can offer slightly better price.
If any of you have also bought from Gridseed directly, or talked to them, test my gridseed inside knowledge.

I know I am new and you are cautious. But if you really want to help the community, try to find out more about me instead of giving a false alert with no evidence. It is already hard enough for someone new like me to start a business here.

Thanks to those who ordered from me  Kiss Your trust is priceless to me.

It's not your price that is making me wary, since your pricing is on par with most international sellers shipping to the US. This isn't a false alert, I'm just letting people know they should do their due diligence before ordering from you. Especially since you only accept Bitcoin, there are no refunds.
